These categories are mainly Universe based, so if you can not nominate anyone for an award that's fine. Keith Stipes Posted October 15, 2012 Report Share Posted October 15, 2012 Well this is my first time ever posting anything like this so here goes... 1) Tag team of the year - CM Punk & Brock Lesnar 2) Most shocking moment of the year - CM Punk turning on Lesnar and then rejoining Lesnar 2 months later. 3) Break-out star of the year - Cody Rhodes by winning the United States & Intercontinental Championships within months of each other. Also won the Royal Rumble but had a failed attempt at Wrestlemania. 4) Match of the year - CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar: Winner won the rights to Paul Heyman's managerial contract. 5) Face of the year - Daniel Bryan 6) Heel of the year - CM Punk 7) Return of the year - Ted DiBiase; was injured with a severe spinal fracture and was told that he would never compete again, but then he proved everyone wrong when he made his return and seeked his revenge against the man who injured him - Randy Orton. 8) Most frustrating injury of the year - Ted DiBiase; was slated to retain the United States & win the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania, but was attack from behind on Raw by Randy Orton and thrown off the stage landing head first. The United States Championship was vacated and was still on the line against Justin Gabriel but Ted DiBiase was replaced by Cody Rhodes, which is Randy Orton's partner. 9) Superstar of the year - Cody Rhodes 10) Diva of the year - Beth Phoenix 11) Best universe cutscene of the year - CM Punk joining forces with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. 12) The 'That wasn't supposed to happen' moment of the year - Ted DiBiase becoming injured. 13) The 'He/She/They don't want to leave my universe' of the year - Kozlov 14) Feud of the year - Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase 15) Champion of the year - CM Punk; He has held the World Heavyweight Championship for 913 days. So when I get home tonight I may upload images to go with my choices. 1) Tag team of the year - The Mercer Brothers: These two debuted in this game and immediately won the tag team titles and were unstoppable for 5 months. They beat every team I have on the game (I love tag team wrestling so there are a lot of teams). I simulate my universe too and these two have such great movesets that watching them is incredibly enjoyable. Honorable mentions: The Navajo Brothers, GOREilla INC & The EU 2) Most shocking moment of the year -Alex J Arik pins Vega: Throughout the year I wanted to create a 'boss' type character. I created Vega, a man he stood at 7'2" and who hailed from Mount Olympus. He was undefeated from his debut and won the royal rumble. We went on to beat Tank (One of my veteran CAWS) at Wrestlemania and remained undefeated until Arik finally beat him in fast fashion too. I was shocked that anyone could beat Vega because he had never been pinned. 3) Break-out star of the year - Gabe Fox: I based him off of a young Chris Jericho and he debuted in my universe in great style. I entered him into the annual 'Premiere League' that I put together. Out of 32 wrestlers he finished 4th and soon went on to win the United States title. He has also put on great matches with many of my main-event talent. Honourable mentions: Corpse Anderson, Ryuu Suzuki & Vega 4) Match of the year - Sergio Shaw Vs Alex J Arik at Wrestlemania: This was a '30 minute Iron Man' match that headlined Wrestlemania and went to a 5-5 draw, I then went to create a sudden death match that went on for a further 15 minutes. It saw Sergio capture his first ever World heavyweight title. it was entertaining to watch. Honourable mention: Ryuu Suzuki Vs Kenkai Yamari 5) Face of the year - Corpse Anderson 6) Heel of the year - Ryuu Suzuki 7) Return of the year - Alex J Arik: He is the poster boy of GWC and also the reason Ryuu won Heel of the year due to the fact that Ryuu popped Arik's shoulder out of socket in a 'premier league' match forcing Arik to miss the rest of the competition. Arik returned during the finals of the league 2 months later and interfered in the Suzuki/Andersen final. Arik ran down to the ring and laid out his long time best friend Andersen upon his return and screwed his friend out of a possible world title run. That night Arik became one of the most hated men in GWC history. 8) Most frustrating injury of the year - Alex J Arik: I planned to have him win the league and win the title. 9) Superstar of the year - Ryuu Suzuki: He won the premiere league in his debut year but failed to win the world title. However he has been involved in some amazing matches and has won many mid-card titles. 10) Diva of the year - N/A Next year I will debut a Diva's division. 11) Best universe cutscene of the year - Varsity Villains and GOREilla INC had a lot of excellent cutscenes during their feud revolving around the Villains attacking GOREilla INC before matches. It was a great feud 12) The 'That wasn't supposed to happen' moment of the year - Vega retaining his title against Ryuu Suzuki: I have had 5 premiere leagues and a winner has only ever won the title on two occasions I wanted Ryuu to tip the scales a bit and make winning the league look good but instead he lost. Honourable mention: Arik being injured, however that has led to his heel turn. 13) The 'He/She/They don't want to leave my universe' of the year - TIE: Demolition & 'Kane & Bigshow' both saw how great my tag division was and wanted in. 14) Feud of the year - Sergio Shaw Vs Mikey Marvel: Former tag partners each fighting to become the better world champion. 15) Champion of the year - Vega: I hate to write it because it was never supposed to happen but he was undefeated for too long. Most shocking moment of the year Path of Light reform and take out The Hooligans once and for all. Break-out star of the year Danny Diamond - Against all odds, wins the first ever FXW RUMBLE Match of the year CJ Harris, Kevin Rogers and Danny Diamond vs The Hooligans - Winner takes all, winner received World, Primetime and Trans-Atlantic Championships. Face of the year CJ Harris - After a rough start to the year, facing retirement, he wins the World Championship. Heel of the year Vinnie FoxXx - Leader of The Hooligans, constant threat to the lockerroom. Return of the year Ryan Starr and Lance Sullivan - Returned as part of YOUTH against the FXW Veterans. Most frustrating injury of the year Liam Rodrick - It was set that he would become Trans-Atlantic Champion and Rogers would become World Champion but The Hooligans took him out for 6 months. Superstar of the year Tomas Adderson - Current Trans-Atlantic Champion and he refuses to let it go. Best universe cutscene of the year Ryan Starrs mystery partner - I forgot I made Lance Sullivan (starrs old tag partner) but in what was meant to be a handicap match, starr enters with Sullivan. Post Match: Starr and Sullivan stand with arms raised in victory. Feud of the year Kevin Rogers vs Maniac 34 - Maniac had such a hatred for Rogers with reasons unknown but when it came down to it, Rogers stood over the monster, removed the mask and saw a man he once worshipped, Maniac 34 is The Teacher Terry Grade, Rogers rival from back in 2010 when it was thought Grade's career was ended when Rogers put him through the top of the cell. WM Year 2. Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton. Last Man Standing Match. Extreme Rules. Sin Cara vs. Rey Mysterio. US Title Match. Over the Limit. Triple H vs. John Cena. WWE Title Match. Extreme Rules. Return of the Year - John Cena: Returned to challenge the evil Blade for his WWE Title. Batista: Returned the night after WM2 and would have a mini-feud with Big Show before winning WHC. Shock of the Year: Eddie Guerrero came back from injury as a heel. Brock Lesnar quits with Paul Heyman after loss to Orton at Extreme Rules. Tag Team of the Year - The Wolfpack (Sombraro Jamima & Thunder) Most Shocking Moment of the Year - Unstoppable Thunder ending Unstoppable Gangster's undefeated streak Break-Star of the Year - Unstoppable Gangster Match of the Year - Unstoppable Gangster vs. Unstoppable Thunder, Hell in a Cell Match or Arn Anderson vs. Drew McIntyre, in a loser leaves WWE Match. Face of the Year - Thunder Heel of the Year - Unstoppable Gangster Return of the Year - Michael McGillicutty/Chavo Guerrero (Both returned on the same night on Superstars, and were both included in a fued which included Yoshi Tatsu & Tyson Kidd. Most Frustrating Injury of the Year - Unstoppable Gangster Superstar of the Year - Thunder/Unstoppable Gangster/Devon Diva of the Year - Kharma Best Universe Cutscene of the year - Can't remember much, but probably when Chavo Guerrero returned, or when Sombraro Jamima and Thunder shook hands and reunited. The 'That Wasn't Supposed To Happen' Moment of the Year - Unstoppable Gangster getting injured, Gangster's streak ending, Arn Anderson returning, the night after the loser leaves WWE match, which ended in a draw, meaning both superstars had to leave. A1datfye Posted October 19, 2012 Report Share Posted October 19, 2012 Tag team of the year –A1 & Ace aka The League, Defended the titles every week on every show for three months finally losing to Team Hardkore in a ladder match Most shocking moment of the year- Seth Rollins winning the wwe championship from Alpha on Raw who held the title for 5 months Break-out star of the year- Tie between Tyson Kidd, Michael Maguilicutty, William Regal Match of the year- 2 out of 3 falls triple threat match for number 1 contendership Jack evans vs John Morrison vs Ace Face of the year- Maverick- broke off from The wolfpack, defeated leader of the stable, and beat silva the longest reigning champ on smackdown at night of champions Heel of the year -Youngblood- Leader of the Wolfpack, Injured 3 opponents in his first month, Used his stable to manipulate his way into each title contention Most frustrating injury of the year-A1- was slated to become champion after his tag team run ended, injury kept him on the shelf past MITB (he was to win mitb and be the first to cash in and win) Superstar of the year- Dolph Ziggler-defended ic and european championships on both shows, defeated triple h for a future title shot, beat seth rollins for the title two weeks after he won it Diva of the year-Kimora- held the divas title for 7 months finally losing it to Kharma Best universe cutscene of the year- Brock lesnar returning to kick the shit out of Lee The 'That wasn't supposed to happen' moment of the year-Maguilicutty losing to Kidd for the world title Feud of the year-Youngblood vs Maverick= Stretched over 4 months culminating in a title match at Survivor Series Champion of the year-Lee- Defeated john Morrison for the title at Royal Rumble and has held it through TLC. Held the titles for most of the year. 2) Most shocking moment of the year When Great Muta performed a moonsault through a table outside the ring onto the Undertaker, winning him the IC title. 3) Break-out star of the year Kevin Steen. At one point he was US champion for over 6 months AND the ECW Champion 4) Match of the year Tie between CM Punk v. Super Dragon II (long rivalry, but this one was really cool as it lasted 15 minutes) or a Submission Iron Man Match for the US Title where it was Kevin Steen vs. Arn Anderson 5) Face of the year Christian 6) Heel of the year CM Punk 7) Return of the year Christian. Brock Lesnar destroyed him. 8) Most frustrating injury of the year Christian... 9) Superstar of the year Super Dragon 10) Diva of the year Didn't use 11) Best universe cutscene of the year Bruiser Brody grabbed a pipe from below the ring to attack Mil Mascaras, but then Tensai comes out to stop the onslaught starting a rather intense, bloody feud that led to Tensai and Barrett becoming a pretty wicked tag team and in the end Brody becoming the Hardcore champion and the top dog of FCW. 12) The 'That wasn't supposed to happen' moment of the year The CAW of myself had an impromptu tag team match where Kofi was my partner. We did well, became a team and won the titles. Later on Cena joined and then Cena brought on John Morrison. Kofi got kicked out, Morrison did his own this and some how Cena and I became the most dominate team on RAW. 13) The 'He/She/They don't want to leave my universe' of the year I can not get rid of Ezekiel Jackson. King Homer Posted October 19, 2012 Report Share Posted October 19, 2012 1) Tag team of the year Noiad and Pallas (these being a vampire and a gladiator.) 2) Most shocking moment of the year Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk cashing their money in the bank cases on WWE and World Heavyweight champion John Cena in the same night (granted I had to pretend with one of them xD) 3) Break-out star of the year Lord Tensai. 4) Match of the year Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton. 5) Face of the year Zack Ryder. 6) Heel of the year The Miz. 7) Return of the year The Undertaker. 8) Most frustrating injury of the year Dolph Ziggler (He had held the world title since cashing in his case (as said above) at Summerslam (it was Royal Rumble at the time of the injury), and I was hoping to have him hold it till Wrestlemania. Since you never ever know when an injured superstar is going to be making their return in Universe mode, I had the Royal Rumble match be for the now vacant world heavyweight championship, only to have Ziggler return some time around the start of the March calender month D__D) 9) Superstar of the year Dolph Ziggler. 10) Diva of the year Natalya. 11) Best universe cutscene of the year When Sheamus mugged Batista at the top of the entrance stage (only because I had not seen this scene thus prior) 12) The 'That wasn't supposed to happen' moment of the year Rey Mysterio turning heel by mugging Eddie Guerrero. 13) The 'He/She/They don't want to leave my universe' of the year Kurt Angle D__D. 14) Feud of the year Brock Lesnar vs. Mike Tyson. 15) Champion of the year The Miz.
