For those who don't know who Drake Younger is

From WWE.com

WWE has recently inquired another talent that has been a mainstay of the Independent Wrestling circuit for many years, Drake Younger. Younger is mostly known for his work in the promotion CZW, as well as his work in the varius IWA's, IPW, and wXw. No word yet on when Younger will make his official debut, but we are sure that many indy fans will be very excited to see him, as well as anxious to see who will be his first opponent in WWE. Stay tune in the upcoming weeks for more information.

From CZW.com

CZW alumni and mainstay, "The Psycho Shooter" and "Golden Boy" Drake Younger has recently signed a contract with Wolrd Wrestling Entertainment. We here at CZW are visably upset over the situation. However we wish Drake the best of luck in the WWE, even if it's a pussy promotion. Drake's final CZW match will be this Saturday at New Heights in New Jersey. The match will be against long time friend Scotty Vortekz, and will be for the CZW World Heavyweight Championship. The match be a a lightubes, barbed wire, panes of glass, carpet strips, and thumbtacks match.

Before the main event, CZW crews begin work on the ring again. They replace to sides of the ring ropes with barbed wire, three strands for each rope. Along the ropes, they set up close to around 200 lightubes. In two of the corners lie carpet strips with rusty nails sticking out. Against the other corners are panes of glass. On the outside of the ring on both sides sits a table, lined with a pane of glass, lightubes, and barbed wire. A sack of thumbtacks lays on the time keepers' table.

Larry Legend: The following contest is your New Heights main event of the evening. And is for, the CZW World Heavyweight Championship!

The fans in the audience begin to cheer and stomp their feet as the song "Worth Dying For" by Rise Against starts to play. The applause gets louder as the CZW World Heavyweight Champion Scotty Vortekz walks out from the back, and stands in front of the small oval tron. He smiles, pointing at the shirt he is wearing that promotes Drake Younger. He then starts walking down the pathway to the ring, high fiving each fan in the main aisle way. He'd then climb up the steel steps and into the ring. He throws his right hand up, showing off his title.

And for the last time in CZW, that familiar sound of static plays, causing each fan to get onto their feet, immediately waves of thunderous applause fills the arena. Out comes Drake Younger, bouncing some near the tron, the audience chanting his name repeatedly. He smiles and wipes his eyes before he beats his chest. He then starts walking down the aisle way, the fans singing along to his theme "Whatever" by Godsmack. Like Scotty, he gives everybody a high five, but continues to do so around the ring side area. Eventually he works his way onto the apron. He climbs to the top of the turnbuckle and pumps his fist up, Drake visablely crying as fans continue to chant his name and music. He then hops into the ring and stands in front of the turnbuckle he was just on, ready for the ring introductions.

Larry Legend: Introducing first, from Indianapolis, Indiana. Weighing in at 173 pounds, and 5'10'' inches. He is the current, reigning and defending CZW World Heavyweight Champion. Scotty Vortekz!

And his opponent. He hails from Indianapolis, Indiana. He weighs in tonight at 210 pounds, and standing at 5 feet 9 inches tall. He is The Psycho Shooter, Draaake Youngerrr!

Drake throws his fist up after his introduction, tears continuing to run down his cheeks. He wipes them away and takes off his hoody. Scotty hands his belt to the referee, who shows it to Younger. The ref then holds the belt up as Scotty pulls off his shirt. He gives the belt to the time keeper, and signals for the bell to start.

Lightubes, barbed wire, panes of glass, carpet strips, and thumbtacks Match for the CZW World Heavyweight Champiosnhip

Scotty Vortekz© VS Drake Younger

Both men walk into the middle of the squared circle and look at each other, the crowd chanting "Drake!" over and over. Scotty holds his hand out to his long time friend, he tearing up a little himself. Drake smiles and cries again and takes the hand of his friend and rival. The fans yell in appreciation for the handshake. Both Drake and Scotty then begin to circle around the ring, staring each other down. At the same times, the entire audience is yelling "Let's go Scotty! Let's go Drake!" After minutes of circling the ring, both wrestlers finally lock up into a Roman knuckle hold. The momentum and power of the hold switches back and forth, Younger to Vortekz, each man trying to out do the other. After a while however, both men brake the hold, gaining another round of applause.

The two Indiana natives then lock up again, this time Scotty gaining the advantage. He turns the hold into a side headlock, and tries to flip his friend over. Drake prevents him from doing so, and begins to fight out of the hold, eventually reversing it into a sleeper hold. His opponent then throws his arms up, grabbing the head of Younger. Scotty claws at his pal's head, causing him to release him from the sleeper.

Scotty runs to Drake, and grabs his arm from behind, looking to Irish whip him into one of the sides with barbed wire. The Golden Boy is able to put on the brakes though, stopping a few feet away from it. Scotty rushes to Drake, but Younger turns the rush into a sit down full nelson. The ref checks with one of the Naptown Dragons as the fans pound their feet into the concrete floor.

With the fan's momentum, Scotty slowly begins to attempt to stand up, hoping to force his friend off of him. For a while he fails, but after a minute or so, Vortekz is now standing. But Drake is only pushed off momentarily, and grabs back on almost immediately. But instead of holding in the submission, he launches his frenemy over his head with a full nelson suplex, Scotty landing upper back first onto the mat. Scotty lunges forward, jumping up to his feet, staring down at Drake. Once again the fans chant for both wrestlers, each of them grinning at the other and at the crowd.

Both men then walk over to their respective corners, and pick up a handful of the carpet strips. They start walking around the ring again, taking smalls shots at the other. Drake is the first to lunge forward with a massive swing to Scotty's torso. He ducks down though, and looks to hit the rusty nails to the shooter's legs. He jumps up though, avoiding the strips. Both men then swing at each other at the same time, causing each carpet strip to get shorter. Scotty jumps up, and swings down his weapon, looking to slam it onto Drake's forehead. But the Psycho Shooter, the veteran of the death matches ducks down, and swings strips at Scotty's torso, slamming them into his friend's stomach wickedly. Holy shit chants can now be heard, as Scotty drops his carpet strips, holding his stomach, blood slowly trickling out.

Drake then drives the carpet strips again, this time into his opponent's head. He then drops his strips, and piles the others onto them. As Scotty writhes in pain, his back to Younger, Drake grabs hold of him. He gets him into the position, for the Drake's Landing, and begins to head over to drop his friend onto the strips. Vortekz then flips out of it, and connects with a super kick to the jaw of Younger. He then grabs the soon to be gone wrestler, and whims him hard into the barbed wire on the other side of the ring. Drake screams out in pain as he slams back first into them. He has no time to get out though, as Scotty comes sprinting at him. He jumps up a little, and slams his knees into Drake's chest, driving him further into the barbed wire, fans able to see the wounds on his back opening and beginning to bleed..

The crowd still on their feet continues to chant some, Scotty with a small smirk across his lips. He goes over to a side with lightubes, and picks up four, two in each hand. He returns to his trapped friend, who is just starting to get out some. But there is no rest for him, as Vortekz slams down the four lightubes onto Drake's head. Scotty runs back some before charging to his opponent again. But he is loos enough to back drop Scotty onto the concrete floor, gartering another holy shit round. Drakes holds up his arms and seems to say yeahh!

He then slides under the wire to the outside, and picks Scotty up by the head. He then throws him face first into the barbed wire, and grabs a strand, digging it into the Naptowner's forehead, blood coming out very quickly. Drake let's go of the wire and Scotty, and heads over to the other side of the ring side area. He lifts up the curtain (I don't know what the hell to call it), and pulls out a ladder, followed by a table. Meanwhile Scotty works his way to the time keeper's table, his upper face covered in blood. He grabs the bag of thumbtacks and throws them into the ring. After Drake slides his plunder into the ring, he climbs back into it. However he is met by a running enzuguri that sends him back into the ropes. Scotty ties his arms' up so that he can't move, and goes over to get more lightubes. He sets them down near Drake and goes to the outside again, returning with duck tape. After a while, he tapes the lightubes to Drake's upper torso and head. Scotty then tapes a tube to each of his kenss before setting up the ladder. He climbs it to the top, the audience clapping in anticipation, asking Scotty to not die. He claps his hands, and then jumps off of the ladder, driving his knees, and the lightubes into Drake's torso and face. Scotty rolls away, and Drake falls to the mat, all the while more holy shit chants go loudly.

When Drake gets to his feet, his face is a bloody mess. Scotty charges towards him, but he's able to catch his friend, and transistion his momentum into a Gory bomb position. Drake turns around, and runs back first into the barbed wire, driving Scotty's chest into it. he then pulls his friend out out and powerslams him down onto the mat. He grabs a couple of a lightubes, and places them onto his chest. Drake now climbs up the turnbuckle, and leaps down hitting a frog splash, driving broken pieces of glass into Scotty's chest. Pin attempt 1..2.. Vortekz kicks out.

Drake yells at the referee and brings the champion up to his feet. He then throws Scotty through the lightubes on the ropes to the outside, it appearing that his right arm and left shoulder are bleeding. Drake rolls to the ring side area, but gets met with a stiff right hand. Vortekz follows these up with elbow bunts, and more punches before ending this chain of attacks with a spinning super kick. He then throws everything off the time keeper's table, and drags it over to where Drake is. He pulls it back some, and then rolls his friend onto it. He slides under the barbed wire and back into the ring, walking over to the ladder Drake had thrown in. He sets it up, and proceeds to climb up it. BHe claps his hands, getting the fans behind him who once again ask him to "Please don't die!" Scotty throws his arms up...AND HITS A 450 SPLASH TO THE RINGSIDE BELOW, DRIVING DRAKE YOUNGER THROUGH THE TABLE! "HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT!" can be heard echoing throughout the arena, Scotty staying ontop for a win attempt, but the Psycho Shooter gets the shoulders up at two and three quarters.

Scotty upset and shock, goes into the ring, and picks up the bag of thumbtacks. He then pours them onto the table in the ring, placing a couple of 'tubes onto it as well. He re positions the ladder and climbs back up it, taunting for Younger to join him. After two minutes of the fans chanting for him and pounding their feet while clapping, Drake lumbers into the ring, and slowly makes his way up the ladder. Both wrestlers then begin to punch and elbow the Hell out of each other. Vortekz though rakes the eyes of the Golden Boy, and looks to hit a sunset flip through the table. But as he goes for it, Drake is able to keep a strong hold on, turning around to where he's facing the table. He then positions Scotty into the DVD position with the fans standing up, silent in awe. Drake yells at the crowd and jumps off....HITTING THE DRAKE 'N' BAKE THROUGH THE THUMBTACK AND LIGHTUBE COVERED TABLE! Once again holy shit goes through the ring, both wrestlers on the mat looking destroyed. Younger has the strength to hook the legs though, but only gets a two count. Drake's bloodied face shows a great amount of shock.

He slowly gets to his feet, and in anger grabs Scotty by the hair and lifts him up to his feet. He then goes to whip him into one of the glass panels, but Vortekz has the strength to reverse it, sending Drake running near it. He puts on the brakes and turns around as Scotty is charging towards him,. Once he's there, Drake throws him up for a backdrop, buts grabs hold and has Scotty in the Drake's Landing. He goes to hit his signature move, but the champion flips over, he now having Younger in his own move. Scotty leaps up some...AND DRIVES DRAKE INTO THE PANEL WITH THE DRAKE'S LANDING! Pin attempt 1..2..Drake kicks out again! God damn he has will power.

A look of anger takes over Scotty's bloodied face, as both men are covered in sweat and blood, and have virtually nothing left. Scotty pulls himself up to his feet, and calls out for the two ominous tables at either side on the outside of the ring. CZW workers after minutes of struggling get both of the tables into the ring. Vortekz then pushes the tables together, creating a mass of wood, glass, and barbed wire. He then reaches into his trunks..and pulls out lighter fluid! The entire crowd is on their feet chanting for fire and this is awesome!

The champion covers both tables with the fluid, and pulls out a lighter. After clicking it a couple of times, he finally gets a flame, and presses it to the tables, the almost immediately going on fire. But he's not done, as sets the final pane of glass onto of the tables. Whoever goes through this thing is going to be a shit load of pain. Vortekz then grabs the ladder, and pulls it a few feet away from the burning tables of doom. Drake who is now moving again, crawls over to the ladder, and begins the long climb to the top of it, Scotty climbing it as well.

Once again, both men trade shots, however the shots show off the fatigue and worness of these two gladiators. Scotty once again gets the advantage, and pulls Drake up into a brainbuster position. But, but Drake has some spirit left in him, and kicks his friend in the crotch. He then grabs the champion into that signature position, and leaps off....SLAMMING SCOTTY DOWN INTO THE FIRE, WIRE, AND GLASS WITH A SUPER DRAKE'S LANDING! SOMEBODY PLEASE CALL 911! The entire audience is now chanting and yelling "HOLY F*CK!!" Scotty spazzes out, and tries to get away, but Drake uses the last of his energy to hit a spear on the dragon, that sends them both to the mat. As CZW workes pour water onto both men, Drake moves to lay over Scotty, the ref sliding in to count. 1..2..3!

Larry Legend: The winner of this match, and new CZW World Heavyweight Champion, DRAKE YOUNGER!

What the hell, Drake's champion, DRAKE YOUNGER IS CZW CHAMPION! B but this is suppose to be his last match here in CZW, and yet he's our new champion. Drake is handed his belt as he lies on the canvas next to Scotty, both men breathing heavily completely out of energy. What the hell is going to happen now though?

This past Saturday at New Heights, Drake Younger competed in what was to be his final match in the Combat Zone before moving on to the WWE. His match was against long time friend and CZW World Heavywieght Champion Scotty Vortekz. However things didn't go as planned. Drake Younger is now the current WHC, and while we are proud, ti prevents a dillema. As from what it appears, Drake will be going off to the 'E, with our title. At the moment CZW and WWE are trying to figure out a plan of action, and we are told that in the coming days, Drake will express his feelings on the situation.

I haven't really looked into anybody elses diaries so I only have mine as a basis for comparision, I haven't been a watcher of CZW in sometime and I don't know much about Drake Younger but the match itself was really well written and the whole scenario surrounding to result is interesting too. My first thought was a CZW/WWE crossover but then I considered Younger maybe fueding with former CZW alumni (Ambrose, Cesaro, Ohno etc) over the CZW Title in the WWE, so it'll be interesting to see where you take this from here.....

Drake Younger is sitting in the living room of his house. Around him are all of the trophies he has won in death match tournaments. His head is bandaged, and his newly won CZW World Heavyweight Championship is slung around his (camera) right shoulder). He has a grin on his face, and rubs his chin before beginning to speak.

"Well here we are. Saturday, it was CZW New Heights, where Drake Younger would compete in his final match on the indy scene before moving on to the big time. I faced off against one of my best friends and one great athlete Scotty Vortekz. Me and the Naptown dragon but on a phoenomenal show. We destroyed our bodies, gave all the fans great entertainment. Everybody was so sure that I, the Psycho Shooter AKA the Golden Boy would lose.

And what happened? Well as you can all tell, I won, and once again became CZW World Heavyweight Champion. But this has left a lot of people confused, because after New Heights, I'm suppose to go over to the WWE. And it seems that people think that if I do, I'll trash the belt on their television program. People also think this means that I won't be going to the 'E, and will stay here in CZW.

Well you see, while it probably does depend on what the dub and E think out, it really is decided by what I do. Because with this belt, I am now worth more money! As long as I hold this, I have power of both of these promotions. Obviously, CZW should focus on finding me an opponent, who is able to beat me. But guess what, I have to agree to be on those shows, which means that I'm now worth more money.

And on the other hand, now that I'm a champion, I'm obviously worth more to the WWE, which means I could have a bigger paycheck. Some people might ask "Drake, isn't better to stay in CZW and destroy yourself in death matches, then have to be on the road all of the time?" Well to answer that question, both options suck!

To make this short, me, Drake Younger is now worth more. And don't go thinking I'm a money hungry greedy whore! I'm just open to having good offers presented to me. As for this here belt, bring on the opponents. Beat me if you can, and land safely, if I let you!"

BREAKING NEWS!

Recently at the CZW Fake You TV Tapings, Scotty Vortekz was injured in a match against "The New Horror" Sami Callihan. Vortekz would fall from a ladder to the concrete floor, breaking his arm and seperating his ankle. Due to this recent occurance, Vortekz will not be competing at Tangled Web 5, in a rematch for the CZW World Heavyweight Championship against current Champion Drake Younger.

No word yet on who Scotty's replacement will be, as well as no new information on the current situation between CZW and WWE. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing and ongoing situation.

Video begins to play, a camera set up in a basement. The entire film is being shot in black and white, focusing on Sami Callihan sitting against a corner, rocking back and forth some.

"Drake...Drake...Drake! I thought you were suppose to be gone from CZW, and in that other promotion. At New Heights, all you had to do was let Scotty beat you. But that warrior pride of your's said no. And here you are, the new CZW World Champion. You have our belt Younger, and I do believe we need it back.

But who should take it back? I know, me! It makes sense doesn't it? I took out the number one contender, your pal Scotty. He would've had his rematch at Tangled Wed, but thanks to me, he's got a few non functioning limbs. That means that I, The New Horror should get a shot!

And I do! CZW officials informed me this morning that at Tangled Web, you and I are going to have ourselves a match. An exploding barbed wire pits match! I hope you come Drake, me and my lovely switchblade would love to give you a going away present!"

Scotty snarls and spits before pushing the camera away.

Never cared for Younger since I'm not a fan of the trashy hardcore stuff, so it's good he's off to WWE!

That's a long ass match name.

Don't know who Scotty Vortekz is, but *censored* it. That was a pretty damn insane match with a lot of shit that I've never seen before. It was well written and I'm shocked Drake won, and wondering what direction you'll go now?

He came across as a bit of an ass in that youtube promo, which I liked. I'm guessing he's meant to be a heel? I don't like Sami, but at least I've heard of him, and I've never heard of the match they'll be having so I'm sure it will be nuts.

Good job so far man!

CZW Tangled Web

Before the night's main event, CZW crew come out to work on the ring. First, they remove all the ropes on every side of the ring, leaving the sides of the ring open and empty. Next, they lug out strips of wood, each covered in barbed wire, with C4 explosives lining each strip. They set these dangerous contraptions on each side outside of the ring, they waiting for human flesh to fall into them. Against each turnbuckle, they set up tables, covered head to toe in barbed wire. All the crew then leave the ring, it's main event time.

Larry Legend:The following, is your CZW Tangled Web main event. This contest, is a no ropes, exploding barbed wire pits match! And is for, the CZW World Heavyweight Championship!

The fans then cohesively boo as "Bad Things" by Wednesday 13 starts to play. From the back comes Cannonball Sami Callihan. He throws up his right hand, in it he wields his signature switchblade. He then begins a fast paced walk to the ring. After making it in the ring, he ascends a turnbuckle, and throws up his switch blade again before sliding it into his pocket, he waiting for his opponent.

The boos turn to cheers shortly afterwards. Once again Godsmack's "Whatever" is playing for a CZW crowd. The crowd cheers and boos as Drake Younger walks out to stand in front of the stage set. This could be the last time he's in front of these hardcore fans, and they are eating it up. He smirks a little and holds up his CZW title as he walks down the aisle way. He then carefully rolls into the ring, throw the belt down to a CZW worker, who takes it to where the time keeper is. Both men stand in the middle of the ring glaring at each other, as the ring introductions start.

I apologize but you have to wait a little longer. I've been really busy since Thursday. You will get this though before the week ends, I promise.
