Antonius Henrichsen hails from Hedmark, Norway. Prior to his career in wrestling, Antonius was a Whale fisherman. He was known for diving into the icy Norwegian waters and killing the whales with just his knife. He received pleasure from hurting a living creature and seeing the pain in their eyes (sick I know). He was eventually fired from the whaling fleet for excessive violence. He was brought into a fighting territory by a local promoter. It was similar to MMA. Henrichsen was known for pummeling his opponents to unconsciousness. After winning the territories World Championship and holding it for a record 379 days, he was let go from the territory because fans where tired of seeing the same guy win over and over again. After spending several months without work and just wondering the streets of Hedmark, a wrestling promotion from England was doing a European tour and did some shows in Hedmark. One of the wrestlers was Steven Sinclair and Antonius enjoyed Sinclair’s work and style in the ring that Antonius asked Steven to train him. Antonius being a natural athlete was quick to pick up the professional wrestling style and within 9 months was unleashed upon Europe. Within 2 years of his professional wrestling match, Antonius won his first National championship as a professional wrestler. Eventually he and Steven Sinclair crossed paths at a wrestling show and Sinclair requested that he get a shot at the championship around Henrichsen’s waist. Antonius was very grateful for the training that Steven provided him and accepted. During the course of the match, the crowd became solidly behind Steven Sinclair and Antonius grew jealous and went into a rage and pummeled Steven Sinclair into a bloody mess. The referee threw out the match, but could not stop Henrichsen’s assault on Steven Sinclair. Eventually the local authorities were called in and Henrichsen was arrested and placed into jail for 30 days. When Antonius was released, the promotion whose title he held stripped him of the belt and he was banned from wrestling in three countries, England, Scotland, and Finland. Being that those three countries are the hotbed of professional wrestling in the area, Antonius moved to the United States and tried out for the TCAW. The TCAW did their research on Antonius and made sure that he was stable enough to be a useful competitor in the ring. He was signed and will make his debut next week in the TCAW.

Love the simplicity of the guy, looks like a real competitor because he hasn't been over done. Nice move set too, you defo get the feeling he is an aggressive European due to the mix of tough strikes and throws.

 

Old school entrance just adds to the goodness for me. Nicoli Volkov would be proud to manage that type of competitor.

Yup. I really like Claudio Castagnoli, maybe one of the most under appriciated guys out there.
