Try bringing the eyes up a touch, less forehead width (cranium I think it's called now?), bit more cheek size and jaw outline. I also think the ears could stand to be a bit more 'elf' like if you get me? Pointier at the top. For detailing, I'd look into adding eye bags and I'd definitely add a black line coming from the top eye lid to create the eye overlap that he has.
