Oliber.
- Here are the names of the 18 competitors that have been announced for New Japan's 2012 Best of the Super Juniors Tournament. The tournament takes place from May 27th through June 10th… 1. Prince Devitt (Current IWGP Jr & CMLL/NWA Historic Middleweight Champion) 2. Ryusuke Taguchi 3. Jushin Thunder Liger 4. Tiger Mask IV 5. KUSHIDA 6. BUSHI [AJP] ~ tournament debut 7. Low Ki [CHAOS] ~ tournament debut 8. Davey Richards [CHAOS/NRC] (Current IWGP Jr Tag Champ) 9. Rocky Romero [CHAOS/NRC] (Current IWGP Jr Tag Champ) 10. Jado [CHAOS] 11. Gedo [CHAOS] 12. TAKA Michinoku [KAIENTAI DOJO/Suzuki-gun] 13. Taichi [suzuki-gun] 14. Black Tiger 6 [suzuki-gun] 15. PAC [DRAGON GATE UK] ~ tournament debut 16. Daisuke Sasaki [free/DDT] (2nd year competing) 17. Alex Koslov [free] ~ tournament debut 18. Angel de Oro [CMLL] ~ tournament debut Though I want Taichi to pull of an out of nowhere win, (because they never used him to his full potential). I'll think I'll go with TAKA on this one. I'm kinda rooting for KUSHIDA and BUSHI too, but looks like TAKA has the upper hand.
.ZEN
Its a decent line-up this year but I'm disappointed that Hayato or Kanemoto aren't in again, especially Koji as I don't think hes wrestled once this year in NJPW. And I don't follow DDT but I'm presuming Ibushi is still injured with him being absent. That being said its great that Low Ki is back and I like Koslov and BUSHI too so I'll be rooting for them. I think that Taguchi should win though because he doesn't need to be with Devitt anymore and match between them for the title would be ra change. Rozay.
I don't know who will win, but my heart is always with TAKA and Mr. Azúcar. I have a feeling KUSHIDA will win, though. Dunno why.

Well Koji Kanemoto only wrestle AJPW Jr. Tag league but in his contract he can pick when and where he can wrestle.
The Knight
Not a HUGE fan of this year's line up. It would be interesting to see if they ever opened up the tournament a bit more. Money has Liger out in the second round.
JDavis
Wow Pac,Low Ki,Koslov,Richards, and Romero? Lots of none japan native names this year. Don't see enough of NJPW or any japanese stuff to route for anyone on that side besides maybe a Taka or Devitt but they don't need it. Honestly I doubt he would win,but Id love if PAC won it. He seems so underated in everyone aside from in Dragon Gate. I mean hes appeared in some places but it just seems hes so dang talented that he should be a bigger name then he is currently. Especially with now everyone in dragon gate/dgusa focusing on riccochet,it would be great if PAC could win or at least do a good show in it. I could see Low Ki taking it though. unknownsold13r
The gaijin list is actually pretty good this year! I could see Pac doing really well, probably not winning the whole thing, but well. Taguchi might be the smart pick, like Zen Nihon said. I think they might want to build a homegrown guy. Devitt is leaps and bounds better in the ring than his partner, but if they are looking to develop a potential program between them, this could set that up. I get a little tired of Jado and Gedo in these things, I do kind of wish they would bring in a few more guys from other Japanese promotions. Perhaps Osaka Pro and the like. Who plays Tiger Mask 6? Is it even a gaijin? I know that V was Tatsuhito Takaiwa. Anyways my pick is TAKA also. I think they can build this as a veteran on a big run late in his career, striving to prove himself over a bunch of mostly much younger competitors. Especially with Koji and others missing. Second pick: Devitt - he's one of the best pure wrestlers on the planet, it doesn't hurt to keep putting him over, but he doesn't need it that much. Darkhorses: Taguchi - reasons stated earlier Low Ki - could believably win and this would make up for the way in which Ki is usually under-booked wherever he goes. Taichi - NJPW may see this as a way to build the guy, if they even feel that they missed the boat with him. It's a toss up because they just might not have much confidence in the dude. BUSHI - he's good enough but I doubt that they'll put an AJPW over. I expect him to look good, but not to win the whole thing. Davey Richards - won't be shocked by it, but I sort of doubt it. They already put the tag straps on him. PAC - such a long shot, but he is entertaining in the ring and very rarely botches (at least compared to similar styled wrestlers)

Oliber.
Block A, I'll go with KUSHIDA or PAC, but it's likely that Devitt will fight hi;s way to the top. I'm not sure on Block B, Low Ki on the finals would be something new.
D-Henry
I'd like to see Richards win this year (don't hate!). Dude can be a jackass but he's awfully talented. I can see Low Ki winning too though.
Dazman™
I am surprised there is this many non Japanese Stars in it this year. I would like to see Low Ki take the win but don't see it happening.

Oliber.
I wonder who will be his replacement. Also, isn't it suspicious that he's gonna work ROH and some indy dates but not compete on BOSJ?

Facetious
So Brian Kendrick replaced Davey. Is New Japan pissed at him or is he going to take time off after Border Wars?

Oliber.
at NOSAWA. Oh well, hoping for Shinobu or Hayato then!
.ZEN
Shinobu and Hayato are the 2 guys I'd want in as well, Hayato especially as it would give us Hayato vs Low-Ki which could an awesome match!
Oliber.
Imagine the stiffness of that match. On another note, i want Kazuki Hashimoto to be in too, but that's really unlikely.
.ZEN
Hiromu Takahashi has been picked to replace NOSAWA, I expect he'll lose all his matches but its a big opportunity for him to try and impress. I'm pretty excited for this tournament but I'm a little nervous that it will be a long time before it's even available to watch as I still haven't seen Dontaku anywhere.
