JTG's New Look, Finlay's Future, AJ Lee Comments on Break-Up, Update on WWE Releases, WWE-TNA DVD Deal

Recommended Posts

- Finlay spoke with Wrestling101.com recently and said he will be working with Tajiri's new company in Japan. They are looking to launch in May. No official word yet on Finlay's WWE status but talk over WrestleMania 28 weekend was that he's back as an agent.

- WWE Diva AJ Lee is still recovering from Daniel Bryan breaking up with her on SmackDown but is getting ready for tonight's live show. She wrote on Twitter last night:

"Smackdown tomorrow. Perhaps I will put down this tub of mint chocolate chip ice cream & Alanis Morrissette cd, and do something productive."

- WWE Superstar JTG debuted a new look before last night's RAW Supershow in Washington, DC. He lost the dark match to Damien Sandow but came out with new gear and a new shorter hairstyle. JTG wrote last week that it was time for new gear and that he was a big fan of rapper Lil' Wayne so that might influence his decision. A fan wrote that his previous ring gear was "too hot" to change. JTG replied and said someone in the WWE office doesn't think so:

"well someone in the office doesn't think so.lol"

- There were rumors over the weekend that WWE has made some releases but they won't be announced until everything is finalized and the talents are notified.

- As we noted before, TNA requested that WWE send them a Superstar to appear on one of their DVD's in exchange for allowing Ric Flair to appear at the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. We don't know exactly who that WWE Superstar is yet but talk is that it's someone that has history with Sting, Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair.

He looks so generic now, btw I think he will be one of the releases...

I think I can say goodbye to Barreta, Hawkins and Reks. And then, I'll say goodbye to WWE.

Now he's a generic jobber with that look.

Why is a Kayfabe tweet considered news?

Booker worked with all three of them in WCW didn't he? Could be him who's on this DVD.

Hating JTG's new look. I'd rather they bring back Shad and have Cryme Tyme to help out the ever dying tag team division.

Yeah, another generic guy with generic black trunks. JTG isn't Just That Gangsta, anymore, it's more like Just That Generic.

I actually love JTG's new look - yeah, he did stand out from the crowd with his previous attire, but I think it suits him.

Now that I've seen more closely his new attire, it looks like the attire T-Reks had as monster heel.

I actually like the look. I could actually take him more seriously looking like an actual wrestler than the stereotypical gangster that he has been since his debut.

JTG will be released soon... Remember when Shad got his new look? looked similar to JTG's look and before we realized that Shad might actually get a push somewhere he was released.

The new look is too little too late... plus he is already jobbing with the new look lol

It's official: JTG = Just Too Generic.

And if Finlay really is back with the WWE, then congrats to him, although I heard that he signed a contract with ROH a few days ago and will make his in-ring debut for them on May 12.
