In recent years, DB seems to be branded as 'overrated' and 'repetitive' , but I stand with my opinion. I still believe DBZ was one of the greatest manga written. Username* Posted April 9, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 9, 2012 I have watched the original DragonBall before and it is really good as well, then again it did have its faults and that was just the parts that I got bored with such as the first episodes, the one thing I loved about it was whole King Piccolo and Piccolo sagas which were my favorites of maybe all of DB. DB had a nice balance of action and comedy and DBZ is not only epic from start to finish, but is widely agreed upon as being the reason why the popularity anime and manga exploded in America. This thread is fine to have open since we have had plenty of similar topics like this. I've always loved watching DBZ ever since I was a little one, watching this after school and late at night. Even now, if I ever catch it on tv, I'll get suckered into sitting down and watching it. Even if it's the crappy Dragon Ball Z Kai, I really hate the new style of the show.
