kreay fufu Posted November 1, 2011 Report Share Posted November 1, 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh is the poor man's Pokemon. Yu-Gi-Oh has actually sold more cards than Pokemon, and has the World Record for it. I always found Yu-Gi-Oh easier to play than Pokemon. But both of them are easier to play than the DragonBallZ trading card game. That's kind of the point. They costed less, therefore peasants lapped it up. Pokemon was really *censored*ing expensive too. Also, in terms of anime, it went Digimon > Pokemon > Yu-Gi-Oh. .Sy™ Posted November 1, 2011 Report Share Posted November 1, 2011 Speaking of Exodia, I only got the left or right leg out of the Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon (correct me if I'm wrong) booster pack when I bought that God Cards Folder that had 6 packs as extra. Slifer's my fave God creature too; also wanted the new God cards (Uria, Raviel and Hamon) but I missed buying one of the tin boxes. Hope to catch one of those sometime in the future - although I actually do own 1/4 of Raviel I found on the floor (some stupid girl ripped the card at school). I've got them in my game though. I still have a deck and shit, but I ALWAYS buy the cards. When I have a little extra money, I'll buy cards. In fact, I just bought some a few days ago. I really like the designs of the cards and the way the monsters look. Like, in one of the decks that came out, a few years ago, I bought it simply because the cover card looked bitchin. I opened the deck, took the cover card, slapped it in a toploader and hung it up on my wall lol. I actually did the whole tradig on YouTube before it got popular and I got some really good cards from doing that. Anyone know Pozjoker? This game was really fun back in the day. Bunch of my friends would play till 3:00am. One time we were dueling at my house and wee seen the sunrise o_O Dark Armed Dragon, Elemento Hero Stratos, Allure of Darkness, Destiny Draw and Mirror Force was the shitz. I remember at Walmart I pulled the last piece of Exodias arm and I was so happy, I went to random strangers telling them "I Have all pieces of EXODIA!" I played the card game back in like second or third grade I don't really remember but I do remember I would always lose. I collected the cards up until seventh grade I have about 1000 plus cards in a shoe box. My favorite card was always Jinzo sadly I never could get that card.
