Just announced Willie Mack is debuting in vegas vs silas young

Hell yeah.

 

But also, I'm afraid for LU. If they get picked up for season 2, they're gonna need a couple new guys. Their roster right now is getting booked all over the place.

That Pentagon Jr fan wasn't afraid of Silas Young lol...because he has CERO MIEDO.

 

Are The Boys (Dalton Castle's) wrestlers too? They sell pretty good lol.

LU tapes in advance so there fine. Veda Scott look is build for porn and thats not a bad thing.

Yes. That show is the night before Field of Honor in Brooklyn (which is the same night as NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn).

1) That dude in the Pentagon Jr. shirt was hillarious. I wanted him to hit Silas so bad because I can't stand Silas.

 

2) Yes, Castle's boys are Brandon and Brent Tate -- The Tate Twins. I believe they're working with GFW because I think I remember seeing them promoted for an event of theirs.

Ring of Honors, Adam Cole recently took some time to participate in an interview with Marc Madison of The News Hub. Cole reveals his past training under DJ Hyde, and John Dahmer, competing for CZW and PWG and working alongside Matt Hardy. He opens up about how grown since hes continued to develop and his success as part of Mount Rushmore and more recently The Kingdom. Check out the highlights below and the complete interview here:

 

About training under DJ Hyde, John Dahmer, Al Snow and Les Thatcher:

 

Well with all four of those guys they sound completely different. They helped me on completely different levels. My two main trainers were John Dahmer and DJ Hyde. DJ Hyde mainly taught me how to be tough, I mean the beatings that he used to give the students as far as wrestling initiations go were as tough as they come and Im thankful for it. When I left his training, I wasnt really afraid of anything, anymore and then on top of that DJ is very good about taking his students to other wrestling events and getting their names out there whether it be helping set up the ring, or helping set up chairs or anything like that. It was kind of networking from a very early stage in our career. Whereas John Dahmer taught us what the technique behind a lot of the wrestling and then the multiple seminars I did with Al Snow and Les Thatcher at the time. They really taught me the psychology of what we do. Understanding why and when you do certain things so Im totally thankful for all four and they were all completely different styles of wrestling for me.

 

His initial tryout with the WWE:

 

That particular tryout I went down to Afa the Wild Samoans training school which at the time was located in I believe may be Tampa, Florida but I may be incorrect on that but somewhere in Florida. We actually got to train for a week with Haku and Afa himself and it was awesome. It was such a good experience. I got my ring conditioning up and I learned little tricks of the trade. I learned how to be more intense in the ring because the Samoans are so intense. Then going into that tryout, again the harsh reality of that now looking back as to where I was in wrestling at that time, I was in just way over my head.

 

I was a 19 year old kid, I was 170 ibs soaking wet. I didnt have an identity. I didnt have a look. I didnt have the proper gear. I was just a young guy trying to be a wrestler. So to be honest, WWE didnt even give me a second look. I dont even know if they looked me in the eyes based on my size, based on my experience. I literally looked like a child there. For me it was more motivating as going forward and now I kind of have an idea of what I need to do. A lot of that just comes with just time. When youre an independent wrestler, committing a lot of time and effort into honing your craft as much as possible in as many different places as possible will catch the WWEs interest as far as the independent level goes. It was definitely an eye opening experience for me.

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross recently spoke with Ring of Honor's Michael Elgin on The Ross Report. During the interview, Elgin commented on Kevin Owens' bright future with WWE and stated that Owens is a WrestleMania main event level talent. Elgin said, "there is no doubt in my mind" that Owens has what it takes to achieve WrestleMania main event level status.

 

"[Owens] has the passion for it, he has the work ethic, and, you know, I see huge things for him within WWE," Elgin stated. "Working with him, being on the road with him, he has a knack for it in every aspect - I would be almost shocked if he doesn't main event a WrestleMania."

 

Elgin also told Ross that his goal is to make it to WWE NXT.

 

"There [are] still a couple of things I want to accomplish and a few things at Ring of Honor that I still have to accomplish, but, no doubt in my mind, [making it to NXT] is definitely a goal of mine," Elgin said.

 

"I always thought I was going to make it, but in other people's eyes, if I was going to make it," he continued. "I was going to have to venture the world and follow in the footsteps of guys like Eddie Guerrero and Dean Malenko and Chris Jericho and leave behind a legacy of my work elsewhere to get to WWE, or now NXT, but that's definitely a route I'm okay with taking and I want to take in the future."

Yeah, I heard that podcast over the weekend, it's a good listen. I want Michael Elgin to have a good run in New Japan first, because he seems to be a better fit there than ROH honestly, before possibly getting signed to WWE.

I disagree. They didn't develop any stories for these matches (on TV anyway) apart from a few but that's what you get with their taping schedule. That 4 Corner Tag Team match is gonna be bananas.

Could these guys not get a good temperature in the arena? These dudes look dead and they're leaving puddles of sweat on the mat outside.

 

EDIT:

I don't know how I feel about the main event, the heat obviously killed these guys. At one point, Roderick was gasping for air. They were legit chopping the sweat off of each other, shit looked like the spray from water parks. I don't know if it was amazing or lackluster, the ending was fantastic though.
