classiq. Posted May 10, 2018 Report Share Posted May 10, 2018 ROH World Champion Dalton Castle was unable to perform at last night's War of the Worlds: Lowell event due to injury. Castle revealed to the fans that he's dealing with several nagging injuries, including back problems. His doctors reportedly told him basically that "his back is garbage" and that he's going to need to take time off to recover, otherwise his injuries will continue to get worse over time. Castle made it clear that he does not wish to relinquish the ROH World Title. Posted May 12, 2018 Report Share Posted May 12, 2018 Ring of Honor announced this afternoon that former ROH Champion Jay Lethal sufered an injury in last night's War of the Worlds: Toronto six man tag team main event and will not be cleared to compete tonight in Royal Oak, Michigan. PWInsider.com has not learned the nature of the injury, but was told Lethal was banged up after taking a powerbomb on the railing last night. classiq. Posted May 14, 2018 Report Share Posted May 14, 2018 New details have been learned about Jay Lethals injury at War of the Worlds: Toronto that kept him off Saturday nights show. Lethal, who was removed from last nights show in Royal Oak, Michigan, reportedly suffered the injury at Toronto when he took a sunset flip powerbomb to the floor per Wrestling Observer and had memory issues after the match. The site notes that Lethal was doing much better on Saturday, but ROH still made the call to keep him off Saturdays show due to concern that he may have suffered a mild concussion. Speaking to TV Insider, Dashwood said that ROH made her feel like things were going to be okay. She said: "There is a different lifestyle out there and this way it can be a bit more rewarding doing things on my time and on my schedule and my way." "Its just a little more rewarding meeting the fans, having merchandise for them, and all those little things that come with it now." Dashwood was part of WWE from 2011-2017, appearing as a part of NXT and RAW. The former Emma also spoke on advice she received from fellow former WWE star Cody. "We talked about how to go about things and make sure I enjoy it and taking advantage of the opportunities I have now," she said. "Just to do the things I havent been able to do in years." Posted May 18, 2018 Report Share Posted May 18, 2018 Ring of Honor Wrestling has officially announced that ROH World Champion Dalton Castle will be defending his title at Honor United: London on May 26th against current New Japan Pro Wrestling IWGP World Tag Team Champion EVIL, a member of Los Ingobernables de Japón. EVIL is also a former NJPW NEVER Openweight Champion, as well as a three-time NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Champion along with Tetsuya BUSHI and Seiya SANADA. It was previously reported that Castle has been dealing with various nagging injuries, particularly back problems. No word yet on whether ROH officials are talking about having Castle drop the ROH World Championship any time soon. Students at the new Dojo will train under full-time trainers Delirious, B.J. Whitmer, former WWE Superstar Joey Mercury, Jonathan Gresham, and Will Ferrara. They'll also be bringing in Bully Ray, Jay Lethal, and others to serve as guest trainers. Their plan is to hold seminars/try-out camps every three to four months.
