– The Young Bucks are under contract with Ring of Honor through January 1st, 2017.

– The team may return to action with the company on June 11th in Hopkins, MN. It all depends on how long it takes for Nick Jackson’s ribs to heal. They are currently scheduled to work the June 19th NJPW Dominion event as well as the June 24th ROH Best in the World PPV.

This may come as a surprise to some but Vince McMahon is still aware of some talents outside of the company.

Before Cole recently joined The Bullet Club and took on more work with NJPW, Vince wanted Cole to start in WWE NXT.

Cole is believed to be signed to ROH through at least the end of 2016.

He recently talked about possibly working for WWE and his future in a podcast with Brian Fritz:

Ive always said this literally since I was 18 or 19 years old when I really started thinking about my future in pro wrestling. So much stuff can change at the drop of a hat. Now with this formation with the Bullet Club, knowing theres a lot of great stuff coming for me in New Japan, definitely some great stuff coming for me in Ring of Honor, its almost, and I know this is such a cliche answer, but there is so much for me to focus on in the here and now that if I lost track of that and focus too much on what a year or two will look like for me, Im going to let this moment pass me by and I cant do that. This definitely is the most talked about that Ive been. Its the hottest Ive ever been and in order to make this run as good as humanly possible, I need to focus on whats right in front of me and focus on making this the best that I can.

Roderick Strong and Mooses deals are up in a few weeks. Moose had interest from WWE last year prior to singing with ROH for a year. He has improved over the last year and WWE is looking to add new talent with the brand extension announced.

ROH hopes to debut Katsuyori Shibata on the August 19th and 20th shows in Las Vegas. Top NJPW stars will be in for both dates.

There has been some movement in regards to an alliance with ROH, New Japan and CMLL. New Japan and CMLL work together and produce the Fantasticamania shows every January. ROH and CMLL have been in talks to work together, and are working on bringing in a major CMLL star for the July 16th event in Philadelphia.

New Bullet Club member Adam Page recently participated in a Reddit Ask Me Anything. You can check out highlights below, and the Q&A at this link.

Joining Bullet Club and ROH future:

"Being in the Bullet Club is definitely a huge opportunity and guarantees more eyes on my work. I think I fill a niche in the group that hasn't been filled before, so I'm looking forward to being the biggest POS that I can be. Right now my focus is on Ring of Honor, and I don't anticipate leaving there anytime soon. I'm having the time of my life and getting to see the world."

The importance of storytelling and a compelling feud:

"I definitely understand where you're coming from on the importance of story-telling and building anticipation in wrestling. My number one goal has always been to try to tell interesting, cohesive, long-term stories. Right now I feel like ROH does a good job with that aspect, but there's always room for improvement."

Balancing teaching and wrestling:

"It's been pretty wild, but the teaching schedule is a pretty awesome fit for wrestling. No weekends, all summer, and plenty of sick time. I always tell my students about it on the first day of class (like they didn't already know) and try to get all of the hoopla out of the way first. I didn't bring it back up to students much after that; I've been beating up an adolescent on television and now I'm hanging people. A few years ago I took off three days to do WrestleCon and my principal was really cool with it and wanted a Tatanka autograph."

I'm not a fan of Dijak and when I heard the announcement of Lethal vs Dijak on ROH this week I groaned a little bit, but they had a GREAT match this week. I highly recommended you guys check it out. Dijak earned my respect.

Ring of Honor has announced that Adam Cole has been hospitalized for pneumonia and will miss the Road to Best in the World events in Hopkins, Minnesota (vs. Chris Sabin) tonight and Milwaukee, Wisconsin (vs. Colt Cabana) tomorrow. He is currently in a Philadelphia hospital. ROH is working on finding replacements for Cole in the matches.

Here's an excerpt of a Pro Wrestling Sheet article that dives in a bit deeper into it:

Sources say Cole was informed he had pneumonia after taking a trip to the ER last night in PA and we’re told he was still in the hospital today when his flight was scheduled to depart from the airport.

Adam Cole is out of the hospital and planning to return to the ring next weekend at Best in the World … this according to the former Ring of Honor champ himself.

Cole told ChannelGuideMag.com that he went to the ER last week after mucus began coming out of his eyes and doctors said a third of his left lung was filled with pneumonia.

As we previously reported, the 26 year-old wrestler was forced to sit out from this weekend’s ROH shows due to the sudden sickness.

“That was the first time ever I’ve had to miss shows from being sick.” Adam continues, “Obviously, pneumonia is no joke. Everyone who has reached out has been awesome, checking up on me and making sure I get the proper rest.”

Adam still has a follow-up appointment, but says he’s “feeling great” and planning to wrestle at BITW.

Great news, BAY BAY!
