Ehh I usually watch them 3 days before they air so that's not even the problem for me, but I can see how it is for others.

How? DM me?

Ring of Honor female star Mandy Leon is scheduled to receive another look at by WWE this week when WWE is in Brooklyn, New York for SummerSlam and NXT Takeover.

Leon previously had a tryout with WWE in January of this year and was said to have impressed officials.

She backed out of appearing for ROH the same day as NXT Takeover where WWE is holding a small tryout before the event.

Awesome! Mandy Leon is definitely one of my favorites on that show and I'd love to see her in the WWE.

Also, if you have DirecTV just search for "Ring of Honor" NOT "ROH" and see if it's listed under a local channel. I don't know if it will work for you though because you don't live in the U.S, but they air it on Saturdays past midnight and I just auto record. Haven't watched in 2 weeks though.

ROH World Champion and ROH TV Champion recently spoke with Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard blog. The full interview is at this link. Below are highlights:

Possibly facing WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins:

“I would love to do that. How cool would it be if there was a champion versus champion match? There is no way I would turn that down. Whether or not both companies could get this on the same platform is a shot in the dark, but we’d have a tremendous match. I’ve never got to wrestle Rollins before, either, even though he’s a former Ring of Honor world champion, so he’s never experienced the ‘Lethal Injection.’”

NXT and ROH going head to head this weekend in NYC:

“It’s an honor to be going against NXT. We’ve got to be doing something right since the WWE doesn’t claim to pay attention to what anyone else is doing.”

Why fans should watch ROH over NXT this weekend:

“The proof is the fact that a couple NXT wrestlers are former Ring of Honor guys. Wouldn’t you just want to go straight to the source and watch the company that they’re pulling from? A lot of wrestling companies are trying to imitate what Ring of Honor does, so wouldn’t you rather see the best wrestling in the world for yourself instead of an imitation?”

Backstage Updates from ROH:

- WWE Hall of Famer Bushwhacker Luke worked last night’s Ring of Honor TV tapings in Philadelphia as a surprise and may be at their Field of Honor event in Brooklyn tonight.

- Former TNA Knockout Taeler Hendrix and ECW Original The Blue Meanie were visiting at last night’s ROH tapings.

- Roderick Strong suffered a bad gash in his forehead last night during the title match against ROH World Champion Jay Lethal. The injury came when one of Lethal’s teeth went into Strong’s skin. Strong was alright but had some swelling and will still work Field of Honor last night.

- ROH officials are very excited about continuing their working agreement with New Japan Pro Wrestling that we noted last night. PWInsider notes that it appears both sides will be doing a lot more talent exchanges and are coordinating dates so that can happen more frequently.

ROH Field of Honor results from August 22: http://dailywrestlingnews.com/roh-field-of-honor-results-brooklyn-ny-8222015/

- Former TNA star Alex Shelley says he shattered two of his front teeth at last night's ROH Field of Honor event in Brooklyn, after taking a knee from Mark Briscoe. Shelley tweeted that his sister saw him wrestle for the first time last night and now his family wants him to retire. He tweeted the following:

Shattered my front two teeth. Again.

So, I took a knee from Mark Briscoe. In the mouth. I was wearing a custom fit mouth piece I had specially made.

Said knee broke my front two teeth in half, and broke the mouth guard. There's a reason kicks to the head are considered assault with... A deadly weapon. Your legs are, clearly, the largest muscle group in the body.

I should add that the knee broke my mouthpiece also. That's how hard I got hit. I saw spots, which is probably a bad sign too.

I finished the match. And now, my family wants me to finish wrestling. My sister saw me wrestle for the first time today, ironically.

There is an on-going issue between Dish Network satellite company and Ring of Honor's parent company, Sinclair Broadcasting, which has seen Dish temporarily dropping all Sinclair Broadcast stations which air ROH Wrestling, including those in major markets such as Seattle, Portland and St. Louis. The two sides have been negotiating for the past several weeks, and according to Variety.com who did a write-up on the piece, Sinclair Broadcasting requested that Dish pull its signals to its channels because Sinclair is negotiating to purchase an unidentified cable station and want the stations blacked out in an attempt to gain leverage.

The blackout has resulted in the loss of more than 129 local stations on the Dish Network. The two sides had agreed a truce to continue airing Sinclair stations until this week when the channels went black. According to Deadline.com earlier today, the FCC held a meeting with representatives of both parties in an attempt to rectify the situation as more than 72 markets have been left without local access television due to the blackout.

The cable channel in-question Dish alleges Sinclair wish to buy is still unidentified. Sinclair Broadcasting is the largest telecommunications company in the United States and is trading on the stock market today at $25.61 a share. Sinclair purchased ROH from Cary Silkin in summer 2011 airing it in over 40% of the United States on their local stations and a further 5% on other stations such as WATL in Atlanta, Cox Communications stations and New England Sports Network. Ring of Honor also airs every Wednesday at 11/10c on Destination America.
