Nakamaura was announced for the NJPW/ROH shows which makes the final list:

Stars signed to appear

- Hiroshi TANAHASHI

- Kazuchika OKADA

- Jushin Thunder LIGER

- Tetsuya NAITO

- Takaaki WATANABE

- Kushida

- Nakamaura

The shows in Phili are on a Tuesday and Wednesday. I really hope they do Joe v Nakamaura.

Those are just amazing. Is there some scrub wrestler named Nakamaura or is this just a typo mixed with an odd decision to leave out his first name?

Idk, ROH weeklies aren't doing it for me anymore but the Invasion shows are always absolutely excellent.

Am I the only one that expected a more diverse list of NJPW wrestlers for their joint show this year? I mean, don't get me wrong, I get why Nakamura, Tanahashi and Okada are there. But the list is essentially a swap of Liger for Naito, and not even a real swap since Liger was wrestling Lethal not long ago. I'm a bit underwhelmed to be honest. I wanted Goto, Ishi and/or Ibushi in it. Also, Nagata would be nice.

I don't think people really talk about AR Fox in-ring anymore, they just see him and say "oh, he did gay porn." I still think his spots outside of PWG are stupid.

wait a second, what

You didn't know about that? I knew about it before I ever even seen an AR Fox match lol.

It's a pretty disgusting story. I'd avoid it if you could, but if you're curious prepare to be weirded out. Definitely "cringe" worthy. :XD:

A little Homophobic don't you think, would it be less cringeworthy if he did straight porn? I'm not gay myself but I don't see how what he did is, say, any worse that what Mickie James/Alexia Laree did in her Indy days; he's not the 1st wrestler to supplement his Indy income with extra curricular activities an I'm sure he won't be the last

I don't think this has any bearing on his wrestling ability or standing; that said I'm indifferent on Fox, he's mildly entertaining at best, he reminds me of a less charismatic circa 08 Ricochet, with little Psychology, plus he's pretty Jacked (apart skipping leg day) so I don't see why he has to rely on car crash high flying, he could easily be believable as power wrestler too, again similar to how Ricochet has changed his style over the last 12 - 18 months

In short, he's bland, but then again so's ROH these days (I stopped collecting their DVDs in mid '13, prior to that I owned every single show), he's not beneath current ROH by any means, I'm sure he'd add more value than Cheeseburger, War Machine, caprice Coleman et al on the undercard but he wouldn't make me suddenly tune In to watch it either, can't help think he'd get lost in the booking like ACH and cedric Alexander are doing at the moment

The story is kinda weird though, I must admit. I also thought that it was a homophobic comment, then I went to search and it also weirded me out a bit.

Anyway, back on topic: I didn't see nobody comment on Ciampa leaving ROH, but then again, I didn't went back too far on the thread. I'm disappointed, he was one of the few talents on this actual ROH roster I could get fully behind.

There was a seperated topic for that

Oh. That explains it. I either totally missed it or forgot it. Oh well.

I thought Jay Lethal and Jushin Liger had a nice match, but why must Lethal use that move as a finisher? I can't suspend my disbelief enough for the handspring cutter, it just looks so stupid. I will never enjoy it.

Guest Fight Me.

Adam Cole still being associated with The Kingdom? Oh boy. Everything else is pretty good, I bet Elgin is so wet cause he's booked. Funny that they gave him the smaller guys though, lol.

Well, I mean...they still use half his theme song and half his trunk designs.

About the mystery man who will face AJ...

He's apparently Adam Cole too. ROH listed him as facing AJ Styles on their site, and took it down. I saw a print screen of it, but I'm too lazy to search for it now.

There's a plethora of good matches that were announced, but no real dream matches to me. Joe against any of Okada, Tanahashi or Nakamura would be the closest to a dream match I have, having ROH's actual roster in consideration. And Jay Briscoe defending against Naito would be neat too. Hopefully it happens.
