Impartial 3rd Party
The following is an experiment I conducted in relation to stats. More specifically, the charisma attribute. For these experiments, I used John Cena and Batista. experiment 1Cena has 40 in every stat, except for charisma, which is maxed out at 100 Batista has 40 in every stat, except for durability, which is maxed out winner: Batista experiment 2Cena has 40 in every stat, except for durability, which is maxed out at 100 Batista has 40 in every stat, except for technical, which is maxed out winner: Batista experiment 3Cena has 40 in every stat, except for strikes, which is maxed out Batista has 40 in every stat, except for grapple, which is maxed out winner: John Cena experiment 4Cena has 40 in every stat, except for charisma, which is maxed out at 100 Batista has 40 in every stat, except for submission, which is maxed out winner: Batista experiment 5Cena has 40 in every stat, except for tech/strike, which are maxed out Batista has 40 in every stat, except for dura/grapple, which are maxed out winner: Batista experiment 6Cena has 40 in every stat, except for charisma/strike, which are maxed out Batista has 40 in every stat, except for dura/grapple, which are maxed out winner: John Cena experiment 7Cena has everything maxed out except for charisma, which is at 20 Batista has everything maxed out except for speed, which is at 20 winner: Batista I'm led to believe that charisma does nothing on its own, but modifies the other stats. For example, Cena jobs quickly when ALL he had was charisma, but without charisma was able to strike his way to a win. Grapple ability seems to trump strikes, but ONLY when accompanied with durability. I figured it may have something to do with the characters and movesets, so ran the same 7 experiments with John Morrison and Miz. ex1: Morrison ex2: Miz ex3: Morrison ex4: Morrison ex5: Morrison ex6: Miz ex7: Morrison And finally, I thought it may have something to do with size and finishing move positions, so I did the same thing again, but this time with Yoshi Tatsu and Big Show. ex1: Yoshi ex2: Big Show ex3: Yoshi ex4: Yoshi ex5: Yoshi ex6: Big Show ex7: Yoshi This forces me to conclude that the charisma attribute DOES NOTHING at all. It didn't make a bit of difference regardless to the size of the wrestler, weight class or move set. Speed, which is does control how fast you move around the ring, does next to nothing at all. With the inclusion of a tag team attribute in WWE12, I hope more emphasis is put on the existing attributes and they actually have some effect on the wrestlers overall (other than making the numbers bigger)
WVIP
Not surprised at all since I and others on this forum have pointed out that stats did next to nothing in effecting performance in COM. vs COM. matches.
lulz@this
Charisma only effects how fast or slow you gain momentum. If high, you can get a quick finisher regardless of your other stats.
