Steel Panther is pretty shit. Not just because they are playing washed up Hair Metal that died out in the early 90's, but because they try super hard to be Rock Stars which leaves them looking awkward and stupid. They're no Keith Richards that's for sure.

Now for some epic party metal.

I'm really liking how Evile is working torwards trying to set itself apart from the rest of the New Wave Thrash groups.. They definitely have something differant going, and I like that.

As for Warbringer, as much as it's good to listen too, I'm not all over them like the rest of you guys, because I hear way too much newer Kreator, and Slayer in them instead of something differant.

I'd agree with you on Slayer for the first two records, but not new-Kreator. World's Torn Asunder, however, definitely has much more of a Teutonic Thrash sound and at times it sounds like they're becoming a Tech-Thrash band. I *censored*ing love it, but I respect your opinion.

Good stuff B7.

Never heard Legion of the damned before but diggin that track, though you can't really go wrong with a title like Werewolf corpse. :D

And f*ck yes Gojira!! I really love when bands step outside of metal cliches and focus on interesting and unique themes. These guys are about due for a new album too. I don't know any details of when that might be though. Until then.

Also, meant to give a thanks to Mendosuke for putting up that Mastodon premier. I gotta snag that next week. The one song, All the Heavy Lifting has been in my head constantly since yesterday.

Listened to both the new Mastodon and White Wizzard albums completely. New Mastodon is decent, nothing more nothing less. I've always found Mastodon to be a bit overrated. That being said, they still dish out some killer tracks on this album, shown below. The new White Wizzard albums, on the other hand, blows me away. The band is clearly maturing in songwriting, the guitar playing clear and on point, same with bass and drums. The vocalist, Michael Gremio, has left the band, AGAIN, which is a damn shame considering how great he was in this album. White Wizzard seriously needs to get their line-up straight. Anyway, Flying Tigers isn't a masterpiece, but it's much better than their last album, and if they can get fix up the line-up and continue making music, I'm sure we'll see a real masterpiece by them.

Another highlight of the Flying Tigers album is Starman's Son. Look it up, it's great.
