Generations
Okay, I stand corrected on the Vince thing...there is obviously some level of either homage or mockery happening there. When he did it in the octagon, however, there were still pre-fight benefits to it.
Chips.
Pretty sure it's more to do with showmanship. It's McGregor, the guy thrives on it.
Generations
Okay...no one ever said it didn't have anything to do with showmanship. Just said that it had pre-fight benefits.
Lunchbox
This popped up in my Facebook feed, lets not forget what a *censored*ing gem Forrest Griffin was to MMA: Highlights: Griffin complimenting Ariel's suit then shitting on his tie and shoes. Griffin complaining he can't get a decent plate of sweet potatoes in Brazil. Hoping that Shogun is hurt and didn't get any better since the first fight. Talking about how he doesn't not like Brazilian people, just hates people in general. Talking about whats on his DVR days before a fight which is when Forrest totally gets excited. classiq.
Twitter user Front Row Brian, who has broken various MMA news stories in the past, noted that CM Punk and Colt Cabana are no longer following each other on Twitter. This is apparently due to Cabana making an appearance backstage at a RAW event which could hurt Punk’s defense in the lawsuit Dr. Chris Amann filed against Punk and Cabana. https://twitter.com/FrontRowBrian/status/771450210727759872 https://twitter.com/FrontRowBrian/status/771448221470040064 https://twitter.com/FrontRowBrian/status/771451739287330816 http://www.ringsidenews.com/wwe-news/cm-punk-colt-cabana-on-bad-terms/
Generations
The Arlovski/Barnett fight was crazy. I thought it was over in the first 30 seconds. Both dudes rock each other...both bleeding...both in danger...and then it goes three rounds. Absolutely nuts.

Lunchbox
Dude said hes still above 200 a few days ago thats a 30 pound weight cut in a week, hes royally *censored*ed. Barnett and Arvloski last night was awesome.

Barnett and Arvloski last night was awesome. That confirmed, or no? Could just be more mind games. I have my doubts that Punk would be that careless about something as important as weight...especially since there was that entire episode of the documentary where he met with the doctor, and she put him on a schedule to lose however many pounds each month. Seems like a stretch to me that he would have allowed himself to fall that *censored*ing short of where he needs to be. I mean...I've read the reports about it, but I kinda want an actual weigh-in to see it for myself. Could just be some bullshit to get Gall's hopes up about getting part of Punk's purse. WNX
This situation for Gall sucks so bad. There's no benefit to this. if you win the fight it's "Okay, you beat a guy that's never had a professional fight ever. Want a cookie?" and if you lose the fight it's "Dawg, you just let a guy beat you and he's NEVER HAD AN OFFICIAL FIGHT SON!" If Punk loses, it's "You've never had a pro fight. You skipped amateurs and went straight to the big leagues fighting where the baddest kids on the playground play. You should be proud, man. Learn from it, come back stronger." If Punk wins, it's Dana White: "I think CM Punk is a serious contender for the Welterweight Title"
Chips.
The situation doesn't suck for him at all. He's getting a lot of eyes on him in his second professional fight. Great exposure for him.
