Well if Bettman gets his way, there may be another expansion team. Seattle and Vegas are the 2 options right now, though some fans want an expansion in Quebec City.

Quebec is their best option and that would be silly to not come over here and go those two city , Top 7 team who make more money in term of profit for the league are all Canadians teams , And Quebec would had a lot more fan base than these two city combine and that's a fact. ( and BTW i hate Quebec.)

But let's be honest here United state are not as profitable as Canadians teams are for the league in term of revenue.

And Quebec is building right now a big new high tec arena.

LA is the capital of the hockey world, lol. My only question is why aren't there more NHL teams based in Canada? I know Winnipeg just got a team a few years ago, but that makes it like 7 doesnt it???

Actually winnipeg had a team back then , it's their second coming , we had the whalers but they're gone , we had the nordique but they're gone , Now we have Montreal , Ottawa , winnipeg like i said , Flames , Vancouver , Edmonton , Toronto , so yeah 7 team that's correct sir :)

Forgot to mention that there might be 2 potential expansion teams, and I could possibly see them both going to the Western Conference to even it out. That is unless they want to move Columbus or Detroit back to the West, give Seattle/Vegas a team, and give Quebec City a team as well.

Unless that team is called the Supersonics, they wear green, and somehow play basketball on the ice I doubt the city will be too much into them in the long run. The Sonics didn't just up and leave for no reason, they were struggling to bring in fans so it will be even tougher to make hockey a thing up north.

We ( Montreal ) did pretty good , we did a couple of transaction that are really profitable for us in the long run , sure we just handicap our team in term of leadership but we did pretty good for the years to comes.

Sharks have done sweet *Censored* all with this offseason. Rebuild? HA! My ass!! So far they've lost Havlat (always injured), Boyle (getting older), and Stuart (wasn't that great), which sucks as I liked Boyle and Stuart. And so far they've signed John Scott from Chicago. Yeah the Sharks need a left winger, but this dude is super slow! I don't care if he adds grit to the team, he's played over 200 games, and has 2 goals. 2!

The Ducks on the other hand...they actually have a GM who knows what the hell he's doing. Gonna suck without seeing Koivu on the team, but the additions they've added so far have given them a lot more depth. I look forward to seeing what Kesler can do for the Ducks.

Poor Sharks. They suffer a Brazil/Germany 7-1 embarrassment every year in the playoffs. I root for them every year, that is until they face off against either of my two favorite teams, the Kings or the Ducks, and they ALWAYS meet one of those two teams every year and get eliminated.

Bruins haven't done a damn thing this off season. They're in cap jail so they really can't do much... Iginla's contract with all of those bonuses *censored*ed them

Oh shit, Olli Määttä of the Pens has a tumor in his throat and needs surgery. He's one of Finland's brightest prospects and has a great future if healthy. I really hope he'll be okay.
