Bronson
I think baseball's, for lack of a better word, problem, is that people care more about their team than the sport in general if that makes any sense. Like attendance numbers are fine, and I'm sure local TV ratings are fine, but World Series ratings aren't since people don't care if their team isn't involved. Everyone will watch the Super Bowl or the NBA Playoffs even if their favorite team isn't involved, but that's not the case with MLB.
Bronson
Any respect I had for Manny Machado has gone completely down the drain during this series with the A's.

Bronson
Congrats to Clayton Kershaw on his no-hitter, but Hanley Ramirez owes him big time for messing up the perfect game.

Bronson
I'm just wondering if he can pull double duty. Raiders could use a good wideout.

Lunchbox
The replay system isn't working because the umpires simply don't know the actual rules.

maskedmaniac
Baseball has fallen so far from the top the past decade and a half that I doubt it will ever reach levels close what it enjoyed in the late 90's.
Lunchbox
Noone wants to watch people get paid millions to play a game you honestly don't have to be in shape to play. Going to a Yankee game even sitting in the cheap seats is like a $300 game.
AssaultDriver720
This might make so of you feel old this coming Monday will mark 10 years since David Wright's Mets debut.
maskedmaniac
^ Not sure who he is. I completely missed the stupid Allstar game, and from what I hear, people are whining about Jeter getting an easy pitch. Whatever. I really think they should cut the season short by some 20 games, then make the playoffs longer. The playoffs is really the only time people care about MLB anyways. ttttttttttt
^ Not sure who he is. What? I barely follow baseball and I know David wright. I assumed he was a fairly household name.
maskedmaniac
I heard of him, but I've never actually seen him. Is he black or white? I know guys like Puig, most of the Angels roster, some Yankees, but no Mets players at all.
