M3J, you NEED to see the Broly movies. Like, NOW! Well actually you can avoid #10 - Bio Broly, unless you're a big fan of Goten and Trunks, as they are the stars (it takes place around the time of the World Tournament, so there's no Gohan, Vegeta or Piccolo).

Fusion Reborn is a good movie, but it's far too short. 55 minutes isn't long enough for something so awesome. And that ending...it felt way too fast.

Also, I feel that Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan has the best soundtrack of all the DBZ movies. Yes, even better than Cooler's Revenge. But that's just me.

Oh you're not alone. The Broly soundtrack is badass. I credit it for introducing me to Pantera as a kid. I watched the Japanese version of the movie a couple of weeks ago and the soundtrack for it is just bad. It doesn't really add much to get you pumped up and hyped for the scenes, especially during the fights.

Haha yeah, when I watched the remastered version for the first time I was disappointed with the Japanese music. It suits in other DBZ movies, but not the first Broly movie.

*Censored* Goten and Trunks. But are the movies on Netflix?

Shit, I don't know. I don't have Netflix. I don't even think it's available over here. But I'm sure they're on YouTube. I remember watching Bio Broly in parts on YouTube years ago.

Most of the movies are on Youtube but they're all mainly the cropped Widescreen versions. Still watchable, though.

I will agree that The Legendary Super Saiyan is easily the best of all the movies. Got a decent length to it, as well. It's just a shame that Broly is SO overrated by so much of the fanbase.

Cooler says hi. But yes, the length of Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan is part of what makes it better than most of the others. The other factors being the FUNimation soundtrack, and the fact that it's the first movie that features 4 Super Saiyans in it.

Anyway, what do you think is the worst movie? For me, it's definitely Lord Slug. 40 minutes for a DBZ movie? Not ok! Doesn't help that I originally saw it on Cartoon Network, and the stretched it out to 1 and a half hours. That equates to 50 minutes of ads. 50 *censored*ing minutes!!

You mean five Super Saiyans, Ewok? :P

Ive been loving the abridged series.

And DBZ sadly isnt on Netflix.

Also regarding DBZ, i'm at the point where I just straight up prefer the abridged series to the actual dubs/subs.

I don't blame you one bit. I feel this way for a lot of Anime tbh.

On DBZ Abridged, I can't wait for Cell.

Me either. Buu should be freaking hilarious as well.

Since it looks like they do plan to go the full mile and complete all of DBZ, I really hope they do Dragon Ball once they finish.

Or GT, but I doubt they'd do that considering how much all of them despise it.

Both options sound bloody great to me.

Or perhaps they could team up with an animator and create their own work. I'd be down with that as well.

Now that there are only about 3/4 episodes of yugioh zexal left, U've just got to say that it was downright horrible. Yuma has practically no development, his friends are useless, Ko/Tori is the worst character in the series bar none, Yuma and Astral are the biggest cheaters in the series, the duels are more repetitive than a John Cena match, and the overall story is just wasted potential. The only even remotely good things about it were Shark, Kite, and the DWC to a degree. I could go on and in, but I'm on a phone, so I'll leave it at that.

Who do you want the movie to be about, Jiggy?

Still waiting for this next DBZ movie

What? How many movies are there now?

Like around 16 to 19

Holy shit, I saw this comment late. I would like to see the rest of these Gods of blablabla story, but I'm not feeling something similiar to the first movie, where Vegeta suddenly surpasses Goku over some bullshit.

I'd probably watch the Dragonball and Naruto series again if they removed majority of the fillers. They're what scared me away from anime and kept me on the manga.

Well for Dragon Ball you could always watch Kai. It's remastered and has ZERO filler. They cut out all the bullshit so that it would stay length/progression wise closer to the manga.

Zexal isn't as bad as people say it is. It's not as good as the other series but it's not bad.

Although him leading off 99% of duels with Gagaga Magician or Gogogo Golem is annoying, as well as his always summon Utopia thing.

Well Utopia is OP. Well in real life he is when you start going off on the ZV combos.

I want to watch One Piece but it seems hella' long and I'm not sure if it's correct but it may still be ongoing (which just demotivates me a tad more). I've been hearing it's the best anime and stuff, though, although any anime that fans love the shit out of will claim or think of it to be the best.

That applies to me and Death Note.

Yeah I'm pretty sure One Piece and Naruto are still going. I would also consider getting the new Naruto and One Piece games, but aside from a few characters, I really know nothing about either show. So getting the games for said shows would be a little bit...pointless.

Yes, Kai cut the filler along with other changes. Such as Mr. Popo was turned blue and the detail in bodily harm was toned down.

Isn't Popo black? Was he meant to always be blue?

I met the DBZ Kai voice actor for Android #18 a few years ago :)

I kinda want to get into Naruto again, but I have absolutely no idea where I should start. Same goes for One Piece.

I'd advise against Naruto. You will be annoyed with the fillers and shit.

I hear the OP anime isn't as good, there are fillers and all. However, the manga itself is pretty awesome. I'd say read the manga, it's easier.

To be honest, Death Note is overrated.

I think the last filler episode of Naruto I watched, was the one where they were trying to find out what was under Kakashi's mask.

He was black, but probably changed his skin so that he looks less racist. Same reason why they changed Jynx' skin from black to purple.

Bleach is still ongoing, but......

Yeah... Watching it out of the need to see the end.

One Piece too, but I actually look forward to OP chapters. Only the most recent one gives me questions on what direction they're going with certain characters.

I still have faith Usopp will save the day again.

I hope so. Usopp spent all the first half of the Grand Line battling his insecurities and cowardice and seemed to be over it in the New World. Would be off if he suddenly picked it up again.
