So...One Piece chapter 818 has just finally started the entire plot of the series o.o

.....What?

Also, I started Digimon Frontier and just an episode in, I'm reminded that I hate Bokomon and Naymon. At least Calumon had plot relevance and wasn't there all the time. Currently on episode 5.

I've also come to realize(well not really. I've known for a long time) that I really don't trust most people opinions on anime or really shows in general, but especially anime. To use FMA as an example, I think Muurpho said it was like #1 rated on MAL or something. I'd probably care more if it weren't for the fact that a lot of those high ratings very likely came from people who consider Nardo to be an example of excellent writing. Plus the amount of people who like to go "muh dept and symbolizism" as if it automatically makes a show good and makes them "sophisticated" for watching it. Again, the people who'll trash stuff like DBZ or One Piece for being too stupid/silly/shallow/whatever other dumb thing while praising Nardo as some deep, high quality literature(*universalryoma.gif*)

And yes, I realize that I trash Nardo a lot. The reason being because there's just so much to trash and even when I not directly talking about it, it and it's fandom are usually a perfect example of whatever crap I'm talking about.

^ I like ranting on stuff that I dislike and has a toxic fanbase too. (Like 99% of A1 pictures shows.) It's just as enjoyable - if not even more - than praising shows that I actually like.

So yesterday's Erased.

I can't tell if the killer being so obvious that everyone thought it was a red herring is great writing or super disappointing. I guess the only alternative at that point for it to be anyone else would be to introduce a random new character with 3 episodes left but still. I guess I'll wait to see how it ends completely before saying it ruined the show or anything.

Adventure Tri

Nothing really happened till the final part, where all shot went down. We finally saw two new megas - even though they've been canon for like 10 years XD. Leomon also died like everyone jokes about... only this time in the human world, meaning he is unable to be brought back like Wizardmon. Meicoomon also turned evil... guess we'll see what happens next.

...in like 6 months.

Right? I was like, "The teacher has to be a red herring, there's no way it's this obvious." Apparently, it was. Oh well, I'm not too bothered by it, I'm still enjoying the show.

Ended up really loving Prisma Illya. Shame I chose to watch now, there will be a fourth season soon and the wait will suck, as will watching weekly. Noooo!

Well I guess it gives me something to look forward too...

Give it me now Jebus.

Could be a fifth season too, since they had season two and three split, with season 2 the first half and season 3 the second. That must've been a but shit for those watching over the two years that took.

Hunter x Hunter Manga's Return Slated for April 18

posted on 2016-03-16 07:40 EDT

This year's 16th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Saturday that Yoshihiro Togashi is resuming his Hunter × Hunter manga on April 18. The manga will resume with the Ankoku Tairiku (Dark Continent) arc.

Shueisha shipped the manga's 32nd compiled volume in Japan in December 2012, and Viz Media released the same volume in North America in April 2014. The manga inspired two television anime series; the latest one ran from 2011 until 2014. The manga also inspired two anime films and several original video anime titles.

The manga has been on hiatus since 2014's combined 37th/38th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump in August 2014. What was initially a two-week hiatus for serious lower back pain has extended until this year.

The Shonen Jump+ website announced on Tuesday that Yoshihiro Togashi is resuming the manga. The official Japanese website for Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine then posted a new image this week to tease "Jump's great blitzes in April!!" In addition to the Naruto Gaiden manga one-shot on April 25 and the two-chapter Yu-Gi-Oh! story on April 11 and 18, the image also shows the Hunter × Hunter manga.

Every series of Digimon starts out with these uneventful "monster of the week" type episodes, and then the show becomes much better later on... but I don't know if I can make it through Digimon Fusion. It's sooooo bad. I mean, you combine a terrible anime (Xros Wars) with retconned-to-hell dub names like "Laylamon" and "Chibitortomon" (It's clear Bandai doesn't give a *Censored* anymore about consistency), and the end result is something ridiculously stupid.

I'm up to episode 7 now...

Season two is worth it. It's up there with the better seasons, so tough it out!

The fact that Shoutmon x3 has literally the same head as Omnimon is... distracting.

Saban dubbed the show, so the names aren't actually from Bandai. Hence "Laylamon" instead of Lillithmon. Lillithmon is also in Cyber Slueth with the correct name, so it's just Saban doing a Pokemon "omg no the kids can't see that name!"

For some reason, when a Gaiomon appears (the DIgimon Yuuko has in Cyber) is named Samudramon in Fusion.

Season 1 is average/below average, season two is very good. Season three is supposed to be the worst thing ever made though so I'm not looking forward to it when they can be arsed dubbing it.

Season 1 is episodes 1-30 and it's not that bad but episodes 31-54 are great. You should enjoy season two imo. Nene is <3 too.

While I normally prefer dub names, it seems kinda weird to change the names when they've been around for years now. I'll just stick with Lilithmon.

Also, after looking back, Tamers is very slow paced. Like at least the majority of the episodes prior to the digital world are basically digimon of the day, even the important ones. Even when they get to the digital world, it doesn't get much better until Beelzemon. Then there's the d-reaper which just kinda drags. The show's still one of my favorites, but it certainly has problems.

So I've been reading The World God Only Knows the last few days and

Hot damn that tone shift! Started as a light harem manga and now we've got people's heads getting torn clean off. Keima is also practically an alt. universe Lelouch only not a narcissistic, mass murdeing terrorist(regardless of his reasons) and Yui is best girl
