Lunchbox
The comic is actually pretty *censored*ed up. Joker kills Jimmy and fuses Scarecrows fear toxic with kryptonite so it affects Superman. Doomsday shows up and Superman goes batshit taking him into space until Batman warns him that what he thinks he is seeing isn't Doomsday. When he snaps out of it he is in space and Doomsday was really Louis Lane who dies as he realizes what he does.
Crazy Moon
Oh shit !!!! How could you leave out that the nuke was connected to Louis's heartbeat and when she died, so did Metropolis. With that aside, it totally makes sense why Superman goes all ironfist dictator. Wow I cant wait for the rest of the story.
Lunchbox
Its weird its kind of a Red Son type story with Batman guessing about Louis being preggers being ripped from Kingdom Come when Wonder Women was knocked up.
Kman
^ So, I assume its a good comic?
Lunchbox
The story is good but im not too big of a fan of it. The dialouge is really cheesy and the tone of the book is all over the place. Ill probably finish it since its going to be a short run and its only 99 cents on comixology. Crazy Moon
I finally read the first two issues. Waiting for third to download. Im enjoying it. What would be the best story to jump into right now?
Lunchbox
Hawkeye #7 was great and Hawkeye #8 seems to be the return of Cherry.

Lunchbox
Statemen, Hawkguy is my favorite thing going right now. But if you were to get into a book i would pick that one. Its way diffrent from any superhero book.
Crazy Moon
Hawkguy or Hawkeye?
Lunchbox
Matt Fraction and fans of the book all affectionately refer to the book at Hawkguy.
Crazy Moon
Yea Ill just like to say Im confused.
Lunchbox
Fraction said that when he told his kid about who he was writing about he kept saying Hawkguy instead of Hawkeye. So now the fandom refers to it as Hawkguy and Kate Bishop as Lady Hawkguy.

Ewok_3000
Can someone tell me what's been going on with the "Death Of The Family" arc?
Crazy Moon
Which one? The New 52 version or the old one with Jason Todd?
Ewok_3000
Death of the Family, not "Death in the Family". I'm talking bout the new one, where Joker's going after all of Batman's allies. I like these die-cut covers: So far, I've only seen the Joker one. All I know is that I'm looking forward to getting the complete storyarc once it's out. Crazy Moon
Well all I know about it is that, going by the cover to a Teen Titans issue I saw, Red Robin(Tim Drake) becomes a Joker.
Kman
Whats going down: - Joker captures Batgirls mother, try to force Barbs to marry him. - Captures Damien Wayne, makes him fight a Venom Batman - Beats Alfred with a hammer, kidnaps him and uses Ammonia to blind him. - Sets up 'party' at Arkham Asylum for Batman, his main goal is to make Batman understand that he can't truely be who he was until he loses the burden of having a 'family'. - Something big is going down in the final issue... He's got everyone caught and has Batman tied to an electric chair.

Josh™
Am I one of the few people not following Batman? Everyone talks about "Death of the Family" but I'm following "H'el on Earth"
Lunchbox
Im not a huge fan of Superman, ill give Scott Snyder and Jim Lees book a look when it comes out though. Im more intrested in the Throne of Altantis storyline when it comes out.
Lunchbox
I dropped Superior Spider-Man from my pull list. It just doesn't feel at all like a Spider-man book anymore.
Whiterhyno333
I've ben hard-core into DC for quite some time now... I have the entire New 52 runs of Batman The Dark Knight Detective Comics Batman and Robin Red Hood and the Outlaws Suicide Squad Justice League Aquaman Flash Savage Hawkman Talon Nightwing I'm reasonably happy with all of them... Death of the Family has been outstanding. I love everything about it.
