Headhunter's Original CAWs

I just recently became interested in spending time on some unique and original CAW's. Ive been working hard and am inexperienced compared to some of the great creators on this forum but I would still like to show off some of my work.

Currently I have two that I am very proud of and you'll see them below. They are works in progress but nearing completion please give and relevant feedback or criticism. Thank you.

Big Bison Brown-Currently a mid-carder who uses a variety of punches and strong grapples to wear down opponents. He was up for a title shot against Shelton Benjamin for the IC Title but Benjamin manipulated him to go against the fans and now uses him in a stable. Mostly fights squash matches but I have bigger plans for him.

"The Patriot" John Maverick- An ex-marine turned pro-wrestler. He utilizes similar moves found in the Angle and Swagger moveset's. He isnt the stereotypical mat wrestler with amateur background as all of his moves were learned in his CQC training for the marines. Currently embroiled in a feud with Ted DiBiase. His future plans are to lead a stable which is the opposite of one like Nexxus or Legacy, basically he takes these wrestlers who are cocky young heels and feuds with them and then reforms them to become his own personal army.

Just a brief note- I used a custom face morph but he unintentionally turned out looking a lot like the Terry Funk.

So please comment and discuss anything that needs to be fixed or possible suggestions. Even if its short don't just view it and leave without saying anything. If I get positive feed-back I will upload for XBL and possibly post formulas.

These CAW's are potential candidates for my wrestler of choice in an online league.

Hate to tell ya but you're gonna get a lot of views and not as many comments as you like. My thead has over 3000 views and 40 something comments and probably more than half of those are my own. Just the way things work, especially this late in the game. Personally I just take it as people think your CAWs are alright, there's just nothing that stands out, good or bad, that they feel they need to mention. Best advice I ever saw on here was comment on other's work and keep putting your own CAWs out there. Eventually you'll start grabbing attention to your work.

As far as your CAWs go. Big Bison I like. Reminds me of a mix of Ahmed Johnson and Bald Bull :D I can see you changed the boots from the first time you posted him here and it really works. The gloves to me just don't feel right. Thought it was one or the other last time but still don't like that style of gloves on that CAW. Also, the b's seem a little off on the back but that could just be the way he's standing.

I have to be honest, I don't really care for the second CAW very much. His current look makes me think of an 80's jobber.I don't like saying that cause I don't like being that critical of other's work but I'm not a fan.

Bison has a lot of potential and could be great if you keep working and developing him.

Just my opinions. They're your CAWs and nobody can say if they look 'right' or not since you made 'em :)

That's what I figured in terms of comments, only truly helpful people such as yourself and people who either absolutely love or hate the CAW will post.

Now in terms of your feedback, I'm glad you like the boot change, I also decreased his calf size and chose a boot that was tighter to the leg as in my last post his calfs looked cartoon-ish. Ill work on the gloves, maybe just use the taped fingers combo. Its funny you say that he reminds you of Ahmed Johnson as that was my direct inspiration for this character lol.

For The Patriot, I too thought his look and gimmick was a bit corny, but he is a quintessential low-carder, mostly comes out to rile up the fans like Jim Duggan used to. So your saying he looks like an 80's jobber is sort of the look I was going for, ill use him to put over some heel characters. My idea for his body shape was to make him look like an over-the-hill wrestler but maybe making him look more muscular would help his appeal.

Overall thanks for the advice, definitely gives me some things to work on and think about. Appreciate the help, Ill post an edited version of Big Bison and also a Tag Team I'm working on in a few days here.
