I'll try to compile tutorials here for the easiest ways to make modifications to your SVR2011 game.
If you have a tutorial, please post it and I'll add it to the first post! Let's keep all info in one central place!

[PS2]

Importing character models

You can easily import models to 2011 on PS2 using the export/import tool of my SVR2010 editor.

1. Download and install the editor package to c:\svredit_dev\.
2. Place files from SVR2011 in the svredit_files folder. CH.PAC files and PLISTPS2.ARC must be in svredit_files folder.
3. Open a command prompt (cmd).
4. Go to c:\svredit_dev by typing:

c:\>cd c:\svredit_dev

5. Extract or get the PAC file you wish to import, I use as an example a file located at:

C:\svredit\models\Hollywood Hulk Hogan by NTB\01.PAC

6. The import is done by importing over Triple H with the commands:

c:\svredit_dev>import "C:\svredit\models\Hollywood Hulk Hogan by NTB\01.PAC" 102 01
c:\svredit_dev>import "C:\svredit\models\Hollywood Hulk Hogan by NTB\02.PAC" 102 02

Editing arenas

It is possible to export/import and edit arenas on the PS2 versions of the game.

The easy way:

First get the HxD hex editor, it is easy to use: http://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/

1. Use the external export function of svredit on BG.PAC. It will give you all the pac files of the arenas and all other things in the file. The first file (BG.PAC.1.PAC) is the SmackDown arena. My suggestion is to use the smaller version Royal Rumble Arena for mods, it is the file named BG.PAC.18.PAC.
2. Then open it as a PS2 PAC file via x-packer.
3. Extract the file C8.BPE to a folder and then uncompress it to the same folder.
4. Now open the uncompressed C8.BPE which will now have the name C8.PAC as a texture archive in x-packer.
5. You will now see the PS2 Texture files. Simply extract them and then edit them to your liking.
6. Once done import the edited texture over the original.
7. Now reopen the arena BG.PAC.18.PAC file and insert the C8.PAC overwriting the original C8.BPE.
8. Decide what arena to replace, just make sure that the size of that BG.PAC.[number].PAC is larger or equal than that of your new BG.PAC.18.PAC file.
9. Now open the BG.PAC.18.PAC in the hex editor and make the file exactly the same size as the file to replace by filling it out with zeros. Do this by marking some zeros at the end of BG.PAC.18.PAC (preferrably atleast a full row) and press ctrl-c to copy. Then place the marker at the end of BG.PAC.18.PAC and press ctrl-v to insert new zeros. You know that it is the same size when BG.PAC.18.PAC and BG.PAC.[number].PAC ends at the exact same offset.
10. Now open the BG.PAC.[number].PAC (the file for the arena to replace) in the hex editor, mark the first two rows and press ctrl-c to copy.
11. Now open the BG.PAC in the hex editor and search for the offset where your file to replace starts. Find this by searching BG.PAC for the first rows of data from BG.PAC.[number].PAC. Do this by pressing ctrl-f and pasting what you copied in 10. Make sure the search is set to hex values.
12. Go back to BG.PAC.18.PAC and press ctrl-a, ctrl-c to copy the full contents of the BG.PAC.18.PAC.
13. Then go to the BG.PAC file again. Paste the contents you copied in 12 by setting the marker at the offset you found your file to replace in BG.PAC and pressing ctrl-b to overwrite (important not to push ctrl-v as it will make the file larger and we don't want that). Make sure you overwrite the old data so the BG.PAC size remains unchanged.
14. Save the BG.PAC file.
15. You're done!

Importing character models

To replace 2011 default wrestlers:
first you PS3 must be jailbroken(either 3.41 or 3.55)
then for example I say you want to switch the rock ch100.pac with someone,
the one you want to switch name it 100.pac,
then hex open the two h files(plistPS3.h and plistPS3_4x3.h)
go down until you see the ch/ch100.pac and change it to 100.pac(delete the ch)
then in tekken's xpacker update the arcs (plistPS3.arc and plistPS3_4x3.arc)
finally FTP the files in the hdd0/GAMEZ/BLUS30621 or whatever folder your backup game is in(if you have US version, I can't remember the PAL versiongame ID)
just overwrite the arcs, and h files.
drop the 100.pac flie in the ch folder of the USRDIR folder
and you will see the wrestler you swapped.(the rock will need to be unlocked, but
swapping wrestlers can even be done with your game saved)

Is that a custom made hogan or is he from a game? Thanks for this, btw.

It's Hollywood Hulk Hogan from 2006 but I swapped the face texture with the nWo version to add the beard.

any possible way to do this on Xbox 360?

Possible but not as easy.

WHAT ABOUT PS3?
Unless you're willing to pay 100$ for a USB Jailbreak which prevents you from going on PSN and you have a Blu-Ray reader in your PC and a Blu-Ray burner than you can definately go ahead and try ;)

Translation: No.

You don't need a blu-ray burner or reader in your PC. You can use an external HDD. It is possible on PS3 but there are no tools available like there are for PS2.

You don't need a 100$ jailbreak, you can get free alternatives if you have hardware to run on.

About online, same goes for a jtagged XBOX, you can't go online or you'll get banned.

Modding is possible on all current consoles, but easiest on the PS2.

1)The PS3 Jailbreak doesnt cost 100 bucks, I found one online for 30 bucks. I also own a Sansa MP3 that will Jailbreak my PS3 easy if It wasn't on firmwire 3.42

2) It maybe b possible b/c with a jailbroken PS3 you could maybe edit the iso before you ftp it to the enternal harddrive.

3) I'm just saying

4) Great news Nick breakers I always use your caws on the Ps2 versions of smackdown.

I'm not saying it's not possible, just the hardest one to crack.

If you play on PCSX2 you don't need to burn anything. The import worked this way on PSP last year so it probably works this year aswell.
It is possible in PSP?! If so, I have to learn how to do this! I wanna replace some people in the current game with the people in the older SVR games.

It should be possible on PSP but changing names and stats and that will be another thing.

I disagree... Since it is as easy as inserting a USB device I would say it is pretty easy now.

Technically the answer is no, because none of the backups of this game works right now. But svr2010 is like 360 and you can swap models and add people. you dont need a Blu-Ray burner or reader
