We reported several minutes ago that former WWE Tag Team Champion Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart is backstage at the TNA Impact tapings scheduled for tonight. ProWrestling.net has noted that his TNA booking did take place PRIOR to Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff signing with TNA, so bringing Neidhart in for the taping tonight was NOT a move made by either Hogan or Bischoff

Umm... Raven's been in TNA before. He even held the NWA title when they still had NWA ties.

I realize that, but he wasn't a part of TNA since Slammiversary.

Would you like me to re-word it to "return". Would that make you happy?

No, because Jim Neidhart isn't making his return. He's making his debut. :)

Jim Neidhart... :hqhq:

TNA just doesn't get it they keep bringing these old hags in and there just gonna end up retiring again in a year...How about they bring in some new talent and then they will start getting the big named young guys like WWE has right now.

TNA fails once again.
As for Jim Neidhart, i'd have thought he'd help his daughter in the WWE instead of TNA. Be interesting to see what he does
Nattie is one of the best female workers today. There is nothing he can help her with unless he chokes Vince McMahon and threatens to kill him if she and the Harts don't get pushed more.

Gonna seem wierd seeing him on TNA, while his daughter Natalya is over on WWE...

From what I've read Neidhart is there for a one time appearance to continue an idea of Lethal facing Legends of the past. Don't get your panties in a bunch, it's a one time deal.

That sounds an awful lot like Jericho vs. The Legends.

Well it is kind of, but i think TNA might handle it better. I hated the wwe version, it was awful

You do realize that the "Wrestler vs. Legend(s)" feud is a feud that's not just limited to WWE? It's been used in almost every major promotion.
