Paul Heyman's love affair with Big Show has created a give-and-take relationship as Heyman does his best to protect the ECW World Champion while the 500-pounder returns the favor. Even when Heyman wasn't able to protect him from defending the gold at SummerSlam's first ever ECW event, Big Show prevailed over Sabu. The giant has recently been extending his services to Mr. McMahon in The Chairman's efforts to contain DX.

He's the largest athlete in the world. Reminiscent of Andre the Giant and Big John Studd before him, Big Show is a feared competitor who can intimidate an opponent with his size and stare alone. Big Show's measurements are astounding: 500 pounds; 7-feet tall; 22 5 E shoe size; 22 1/2 ring size and a 64-inch chest.

Before WWE, Big Show was known as The Giant in WCW, where he twice won the WCW Championship. But Big Show would become a worldwide star upon his signing with WWE. Show burst onto the scene at St. Valentine's Day Massacre in 1999, literally breaking through the ring during a Steel Cage Match between Mr. McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin. The next night on RAW, Big Show declared his allegiance to Mr. McMahon and joined The Corporation. Nine months later, he won the WWE Championship for the first time, defeating The Rock and Triple H in a Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series. There's been no stopping him ever since, as Big Show has become one of the most dominant athletes to ever appear in a WWE ring.

Big Show shocked the wrestling world at WWE vs. ECW Head to Head when he ripped off his RAW T-shirt to reveal a brand new ECW shirt. After dumping Kurt Angle over the top rope, Randy Orton thought he had won the 20-Man Battle Royal for WWE. But after Big Show revealed his new allegiance to ECW, he choke slammed the Legend Killer and threw him over the top to give his new brand the huge victory. On the July 4 episode of ECW on Sci-Fi, Big Show defeated Rob Van Dam to win the ECW World Title with a little help from Paul Heyman. That night, he became the only man that has ever held and will ever hold the WWE Championship, the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and the ECW World Title.

At 7-feet tall and more than 300 pounds, the Big Red Monster has been tormenting opponents since his debut, and even that was huge. Following months of speculation, Kane made his first appearance on Oct. 5, 1997, at Bad Blood. There, he ripped the cage door off during the first-ever Hell in a Cell Match between Shawn Michaels and Undertaker. Kane and Undertaker then stood toe to toe during a chilling staredown. The Big Red Monster wore a mask, and he hid his body in attire designed to conceal hideous burns from a fire supposedly started by his half-brother Undertaker. Then, Kane kicked the Deadman in the stomach and Tombstoned him -- allowing a bloody Michaels to pin Undertaker for the victory.

In the time since Kane has been a dominant force and even won the world title at one point. He's a two-time Intercontinental Champion and eight-time World Tag Team Champion. He's shown near-unprecedented versatility in the tag-team ranks, winning championships with brawlers such as Stone Cold and Mankind, as well as smaller, quicker partners such as The Hurricane and X-Pac. He's also twice won the World Tag Team Championship with his half-brother, including a reign during the Alliance Invasion when they simultaneously held the World Tag Team Championship and WCW Tag Team Championship.

Once Kane's mask was removed in a match against Triple H, the big man went on a hell-bent trail of destruction. He chokeslammed RVD, Eric Bischoff, and Stone Cold. Then, he set RAW announcer Jim Ross on fire. But the action that could not be tolerated was hitting WWE CEO Linda McMahon with a Tombstone. That forced Shane McMahon to return to the ring in defense of his family, but even the risk-taking Shane-O-Mac couldn't stop the Big Red Monster's rage. Then Kane attacked Undertaker once again and buried him alive with a bulldozer. At Taboo Tuesday '05, Kane faced Snitsky in a "Weapon of Choice" match. Wielding a steel chain, Kane delivered a brutal beating. He began tormenting Trish Stratus Feuded with Edge, and paired up with Big Show to win his ninth World Tag Team Championship.

Then things started going horribly wrong for the Big Red Monster. Kane thought that the madness and the voices that suddenly appeared in his head would stop once May 19 came and went. Leading up to that day, the same day that Kane's adopted parents died in a fire, the Big Red Monster was hearing voices that drove him to the brink of insanity. But it didn't stop after May 19. Things only got stranger for Kane as he came face to face with what appeared to be a mirror image of himself. The mysterious being was dressed like the Kane of old, complete with his old ring attire and mask. After a stare-down, the unknown man chokeslammed Kane.

Kane continued to be attacked by his "clone" until they finally met in a match at Vengeance where he found himself on the receiving end of all of his own moves. Bringing new meaning to "being your own worst enemy," the imposter Kane defeated the real Kane with a thunderous chokeslam, Just one day later, though, Kane chokeslammed the imposter on the stage at RAW and then threw him out of the arena -- proving that whether it is Tag Team or singles, whether he is facing himself or someone else, one thing is for sure: Kane is an unstoppable force to be reckoned with.

Vito remains undefeated since his change of taste in clothing. The toughest man in a dress had no problem putting away Sylvan, applying the inescapable Dress Code to force yet another submission. After the match, Vito stood up to the man in negotiations to compete on SmackDown, MVP, who laughed at Vito from the front row. He has since forced a count-out in his match with Sir William Regal.
Living by the code of the streets of Little Italy, Vito "The Skull" is one of the most-feared and respected men around. Notorious for his cool and calm demeanor when dealing with others, don't let the superficial diplomacy fool you. When provoked, Vito can and will snap, getting violent when he doesn't get his way.

Today, Vito takes great pride as his muscle and intimidator. Ensuring they get the respect and opportunities they deserve, Vito will offer his victims two choices: do things his way or face a bludgeoning the likes of which few men walk away from... an offer many SmackDown Superstars can't physically afford to refuse.

For the past few weeks on SmackDown, Chavo Guerrero has been giving new definition to the term "Family Feud." In the most recent chapter, Chavo appeared to congratulate and embrace Vickie Guerrero, who had just shocked Rey Mysterio and the SmackDown audience by announcing that she was to become Chavo's new business manager, both figuratively and literally slapping Mysterio in the face. The announcement was supposed to explain why, just one week before, Vickie and Chavo were seen in a similar embrace following a deplorable steel chair assault from Vickie against Rey.
Chavo's recent actions are a far cry from his early days in WWE, when the third-generation Superstar was realizing his destiny as a member of one of the most celebrated families in sports-entertainment history. Chavo's grandfather Gory Guerrero was a legendary wrestler and promoter in Texas and Mexico, and his father as well as his three uncles all followed close behind.

"Chavito" began his quest at an early age, often wrestling with his uncle Eddie during the intermissions of Gory's shows in Texas. After making his official in-ring debut in Mexico and traveling around the world, Chavo came to WCW in 1996, winning the Cruiserweight Championship twice during his time there. Chavo came to WWE in 2001, and has won the Cruiserweight Championship three more times. He is also a two-time former WWE Tag Team Champion, and fulfilled another life-long dream when he teamed with his uncle Eddie to win the gold in 2002.

Following the tragic passing of Eddie Guerrero in November 2005, Chavo has dedicated every match to his late uncle, and adopted Eddie's signature Frog Splash as his own finishing maneuver. Rey Mysterio also dedicated himself to winning in Eddie's name, and his unlikely capturing of the World Heavyweight Championship was an unlikely catalyst for the recent rivalry that has torn the Guerrero-Mysterio relationship apart.

Melina and Johnny Nitro have been paying close attention to the back and forth battles between Carlito and Shelton Benjamin to see who the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship will be. Recently, Nitro lost twice to Carlito, but once was in a mixed tag and the other was when manager Melina jumped in the ring causing a disqualification, so he was able to keep the championship. Will Melina be able to help her man hold onto his reign?
Nitro & Melina made their RAW debut with an unsuccessful loss to John Cena after tapping out to the STFU. However, Nitro did manage to score his first RAW victory the following week when he defeated Charlie Haas; when Melina ran into the ring and feigned injuring her ankle, Nitro used the distraction to roll Haas up, using a handful of tights to help him get the victory. A short time later, Nitro pinned Shelton Benjamin in a triple threat match with Carlito to win the Intercontinental Title.

Now that they're on RAW, red-carpet darlings Johnny Nitro and Melina will look to make the same impact that they made in their 13 months on SmackDown. While Melina gets hearts pounding with her unique ring entrance, she's also a force to be dealt with around the ring, even declaring herself "the most-dominant Diva in WWE."

Who will the Boogeyman terrorize next? After haunting JBL and then Booker T & Sharmell, the Boogeyman is lurking and is looking to strike again. Everyone in the SmackDown locker room should be looking over their shoulders cause the Boogeyman can strike at anytime. Lock your door, look for suspicious shadows and hope you do not hear the "tick-tock" of the clock. If you do, be afraid because you're about to face your deepest fear... The Boogeyman is coming to getcha!
From out of the shadows, The Boogeyman now lurks on Friday Night SmackDown. A face of mindless evil, it is said that The Boogeyman feasts on fear and is fueled by the paranoia of others. Relishing the opportunity to recite deeply unsettling rhymes and riddles, The Boogeyman celebrates the delicious destruction of his next victim. He also treats live worms as tasty treats and did the unthinkable: eating the growth off Jillian Hall's face.

During the summer of 2005, bone-chilling commercials for "The Boogeyman" began running during Friday Night SmackDown and other WWE programming -- filled with haunting screams and a memorable, sinister laugh. However, something disturbing happened on the set during filming, and the show was instantly put on hold by the network. Enter network executive Palmer Canon.

On the heels of a new talent initiative headed by Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long, Canon introduced The Boogeyman, citing the network's interest in "synergy" with WWE.

Along with Finlay, William Regal had the great honor of being knighted by King Booker. Now known as Sir William Regal, he continues to help his fellow knight retain his United States Championship in his bouts with Lashley and other challengers.
In recent weeks, it seems as if William Regal has become a loyal subject of King Booker. The Englishman presented the new King and his Queen on Friday Night SmackDown and teamed with Finlay to help Booker attack Lashley. After the United States Champion defeated King Booker, the European pair made their presence felt, helping Booker decimate his opponent and forcing Lashley to kiss the King's feet.

Normally, William Regal is one of WWE's most smug and haughty Superstars. A distinguished Englishman, Regal finds most others crass and downright unworthy of his time. While presenting himself as a dignified man away from the ring, Regal is a sadistic mat wrestler inside the squared circle, taking great pleasure in torturing his adversaries with stiff strikes and brutal submission holds.

Learning the ropes as a young teenager, the native of Blackpool, England traveled across the United Kingdom wrestling as part of carnivals. Facing off against challengers from the carnival circuit as well as from the crowd, Regal quickly earned a reputation as a lethal opponent, with fists of iron and dozens of different holds to render his adversaries helpless. Always interested in sharpening his tools as a wrestler, Regal traveled across the world, winning several championships in Europe, the Middle East and Japan before landing in WCW and WWE (winning plenty of titles along the way).

Back together once again, Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch are on a quest to regain the World Tag Team Championship. The path has started off successfully, as Cade picked up a count-out victory over Kane in a recent summer edition of RAW. After the match, Murdoch proclaimed that it was just the beginning for the reformed team.
Since then, the team has been dominant on HEAT, picking up several victories. They even made an appearance on WWE.com Unlimited to bemoan the lack of respect they've been shown. Murdoch said that when you make rednecks angry, bad things happen; is this a sign of things to come for their future opponents? The following week, they picked up a victory over Viscera & Val Venis on RAW thanks to Charlie Haas' distraction of Big Vis.

One of Waxahachie's most notorious sons, the surly, tobacco-chewing, short-tempered southern brawler is prone to violent outbursts. While usually clad in beat up jeans and cut-off shirts, don't let Murdoch's looks and attitude fool you; his ability inside the squared circle is nothing to be underestimated.

Along with Lance Cade, Murdoch made his debut on RAW in September 2005 and made an abrupt impact. Almost immediately, the pair defeated The Hurricane and Rosey to become World Tag Team Champions at Unforgiven. With a successful blend of sweet and sour, they seemed unstoppable.

At Taboo Tuesday, however, Kane and Big Show proved that theory wrong. Cade and Murdoch didn't know they would be facing the two monsters until shortly before the match began, and it cost them dearly. Kane and Big Show walked out as World Tag Team Champions that night, and also won a Hardcore Rules rematch eight days later on RAW.

After the loss, Cade & Murdoch decided to effectively part ways, remaining allies but no longer partners. Since then, Murdoch has proven his toughness by piling up several victories on RAW and HEAT, and qualified for the 2006 Royal Rumble Match. At one point, he even approached Mr. McMahon to interview for the job of RAW General Manager, telling the WWE Chairman that he was "just the hucklebuck for the job."

Early in 2006, Murdoch developed a rivalry with Goldust on HEAT. When Murdoch helped former partner Lance Cade defeat Goldust one week, the Bizarre One got his own partner Snitsky involved, and the four were at each others' throats for weeks. The reunion seemed to invigorate Cade & Murdoch, who decided to once again pool their talent into one goal.

Not long ago, Viscera was so taken by RAW ring announcer Lilian Garcia that he asked for her hand in marriage. Then another Superstar, Charlie Haas, started competing for Lilian's attention. It evolved into a race to see who could win her over faster. That all changed once she dropped the F word -- friendship.
In a match with Haas, Vis and Haas went at it out when Lilian jumped into the ring to demand they stop fighting over her. When she told them she just wanted to be friends, the mood of both Superstars changed. The two kept brawling in the ring, and that's when Viscera accidentally gave Lilian a Samoan Drop. She was in need of receiving medial attention, and was forced to take leave as the RAW announcer for a few weeks. While it was obviously an accident, the reaction of Haas and Vis immediately following her injury was nonchalant.

Instead of rushing to her aid, the two apathetically broke out into laughter; when they were asked if they wished to explain their behavior, the two Superstars said they could, but opted not to. Their silence on the matter raises eyebrows, but knowing Viscera and his lust for the ladies, perhaps he's just moved on to other endeavors. We'll have to wait for the big man to break his silence to find out the real story, but as the saying goes, Hell hath no fury like a lover scorned.

Whether inside the ring or at the local drive-thru, Viscera's appetite is always insatiable. Scaring opponents with his massive size and power, Viscera professes that he's both a lover and a fighter. With his trademark gold toothed smile, zombie-esque blue eyes and blonde Mohawk, this rotund sex panther's appetite for love is second only to his devotion to food. Outside the ring, Big Vis is always on the prowl, looking for romance wherever he roams.

At Judgment Day, Super Crazy gave a valiant effort in his challenge for Gregory Helms Cruiserweight Championship. Despite coming up on the short end of the decision, the Mexicool once again proved himself to be among the top Cruiserweights on SmackDown.
Super Crazy, a former ECW Television Champion has wrestled extensively in Mexico and Puerto Rico. The talented luchadore performed one of the highlight moves at ECW's One Night Stand when he executed a Moonsault off a balcony. Not long after, Super Crazy was signed to a WWE contract.

Along with his partner Psicosis, Super Crazy stormed his way into WWE in June 2005. The duo called themselves the Mexicools, and with their exciting high risk style, they vowed to take SmackDown by storm.

It wasn't long before the SmackDown fans got behind the excitable duo. Their enthusiasm and high-energy in the ring is infectious and has propelled them to several key wins in the tag team division. With a wide array of high-flying maneuvers like Super Crazy's patented top-rope Moonsault, it's only a matter of time before the Mexicools are riding to the ring in their Juan Deere tractors decked in WWE Tag Team Championship gold.

Lance Cade and tag team partner, Trevor Murdoch, have racked up several wins and want to keep the momentum going all the way to the World Tag Team Championship.
The team has been dominant on HEAT, picking up several victories.

While his looks may be deceiving, Cade is not your typical good ol' boy. The handsome Cade is a smooth talking southerner known for boasting about his intentions and then delivering on the goods. Together with Trevor Murdoch, Cade came to RAW in September 2005. Almost immediately, the pair defeated The Hurricane & Rosey to become World Tag Team Champions at Unforgiven. With a successful blend of sweet and sour, they seemed unstoppable. Sadly, the parted ways abruptly a few months later.

In early 2006, a rivalry developed between Trevor Murdoch and Goldust on HEAT. When Murdoch helped Cade defeat Goldust one week, the Bizarre One got his own partner Snitsky involved, and the four were at each others' throats for weeks. The reunion seemed to invigorate Cade & Murdoch, who decided to once again pool their talent into one goal.

Back together once again, Cade and Murdoch are on a quest to regain the World Tag Team Championship. The path has started off successfully, as Cade picked up a count-out victory over Kane on the June 5 RAW. After the match, Murdoch proclaimed that it was just the beginning for the re-formed team.

Along with his partner Super Crazy, Psicosis stormed his way into WWE in June 2005.
With a wide array of high-flying maneuvers like Psicosis patented Guillotine Leg Drop, it's only a matter of time before the Mexicools are riding to the ring in their Juan Deere tractors decked in WWE Tag Team Championship gold.

Psicosis is a decorated wrestler in Mexico and a former Cruiserweight Champion at WCW. He certainly expects that kind of success to continue.

In a realm where hardcore is the creed, Hardcore Holly proves he is deserving of his name. On Sci Fi, Hardcore Holly made a statement in his Extreme and unexpected debut in an ECW ring. Responding to Paul Heyman's request for him to make an impact, he went to the ring and laid out Rob Van Dam with a vicious Alabama Slam, serving notice that Hardcore Holly was in the house. Holly says that now that he's in ECW, he's going to take his brutality to another level.
Known as "The Alabama Slammer," Hardcore Holly is as tough as they come in and away from the ring. Brutalizing opponents with his gruff offensive attacks, Hardcore Holly earned his nickname during the era of the hardcore division in WWE. Even to this day, Holly still lives up to his hardcore reputation, punishing opponents with hard fists, hardcore brawling and his trademark Alabama Slam.

Channeling his anger as a tool for success, Holly has enjoyed great success. Just a year after his WWE debut, Holly teamed with 1-2-3 Kid at the 1999 Royal Rumble to win a tournament for the World Tag Team Championship. Four years later, he won the World Tag Team Championship once again with the late Crash Holly.

He was extremely successful in the hardcore division as well, winning the Hardcore Championship six times during its active era. His toughness and no-nonsense attitude earned a slot as one of the trainers for MTV's Tough Enough 2, where he used his fists to teach several hopeful trainees about respect, hard work and paying your dues.

Currently Tazz's replacement as an announcer on weekly SmackDown broadcasts, JBL added more gold to his impressive resume by winning the United States Championship by defeating Chris Benoit at WrestleMania 22. He looked to add even more gold at Judgment Day when he went one on one against Rey Mysterio for the World Championship. JBL masterminded a plan to have Rey brutalized in the three weeks leading up to the match by Mark Henry, The Great Khali and Kane. It looked as though Rey would be in rough shape for Judgment Day, but the underdog champion overcame the odds and defeated JBL.
Despite the loss, though, JBL is always a threat to dish out heavy punishment inside the squared circle. A self proclaimed "Wrestling God" and media maven, JBL is notorious for his brash personality, politicking and intimidation. Flaunting his wealth and legacy as the longest-reigning WWE Champion in SmackDown history, few can argue with JBL's recent track record.

This one-time barroom brawler traded in his muscle shirts and jeans for pinstripe suits and a thousand dollar Resitol, traveling city to city and arena to arena in a customized white limousine -- complete with longhorns on the hood. It was also during this transition that JBL, a man of culture, relocated from his native Texas to a posh penthouse in New York City, officially starting the new era of the city slicker known as JBL.

Calling himself The Rated-R Superstar, Edge has evolved from a brooding, angsty enigma into one of the most successful Superstars in WWE history. Aligned with Lita since the summer of 2005, Edge isn't afraid to say what's on his mind, no matter how shocking or controversial it may be, and the devious pair has burned any Superstar that's gotten in their path.

In his high school yearbook, Edge was voted Most Likely to Become WWE Champion; while that prophecy has finally been fulfilled, The Rated R Superstar won't be content with just one championship feather in his cap.

Following his graduation from high school, Edge's road to the WWE began in 1992 when he won an essay contest in Toronto. The contest asked potential candidates why they wanted to become professional wrestlers, and his winning entry earned him the opportunity to be trained by Canadian Superstars Ron Hutchison and Sweet Daddy Siki at Sully's Gym in Toronto.

After spending a half-dozen years on the independent circuit, Edge made his WWE debut in 1998; he quickly hooked up with Christian and Gangrel to form The Brood, and the trio was notorious for giving WWE Superstars a mysterious bloodbath. Eventually, Edge & Christian broke away from Gangrel, and after a spectacular Tag Team Ladder Match against the Hardy Boyz at No Mercy 1999, their stock began to rise.

Unfortunately, Edge suffered a neck injury in early 2003 that required major surgery, and he missed 14 months of action rehabbing. Upon his return, Edge landed on RAW and defeated Kane at Backlash 2004 in his first match back. The next night, he teamed with Chris Benoit to win the World Tag Team Championship for the ninth time. Edge & Benoit would win the gold one more time at Taboo Tuesday, but under much more acrimonious circumstances. Mad that the fans had not voted him into the main event of Taboo Tuesday 2004, Edge walked out on his partner. Benoit was able to win the match on his own, but the dissension soon cost the team the gold.

From that moment on, Edge had one goal in mind that drove him to obsession: winning the WWE Championship (which he has done twice in the last year). A now-sinister Edge became consumed and ultimately corrupted to the core by his boyhood dream. Feeling "screwed" by other WWE Superstars like Shawn Michaels, the fans and other outside forces, Edge's bitterness fueled him, making him even more driven, unpredictable and desperate.

Lita has been enjoying life as the girlfriend of two-time WWE Champion Edge. They enjoy VIP treatment with champagne wherever they go and have even guest announced from their own Rated-R announce table. With her fiery red hair and trademark shoulder tattoo, Lita is recognized anywhere she goes, even if she is no longer embraced by the fans.

Once beloved by the fans for her extreme ways, Lita is now one of the most despised Divas in WWE. Aligned with Edge since May 2005, the three-time Women's Champion no longer cares what the fans think of her, standing by the Rated R Superstar no matter what derogatory chants the fans send in her direction. Since hooking up with Edge, Lita has had no problem saying what's on her mind or doing whatever it takes to help her man be successful, often finding herself in the midst of controversy as a result.

Judgment Day turned out to be a day that Joey Mercury would like to forget ever happened. That night, MNM lost to Brian Kendrick & Paul London for the sixth straight match, this time losing the WWE Tag Team Championship as a result. However, things would only get worse for Mercury after the match.
He was blamed for the double-team miscue that led to the loss, and Melina slapped him for it. Enraged, Mercury grabbed her wrist, which caused Nitro to snap. Nitro pounced on Mercury and he and Melina double-teamed their former partner until officials pulled them apart. Later on in the evening, Melina and Nitro were fired by Theodore Long after the Diva slapped the General Manager. With MNM broken up and Nitro and Melina now on RAW, only time will tell what the future holds for Joey Mercury.

Before their falling out, MNM was one of the greatest tag teams in SmackDown history. Following their debut in April 2005, sultry Diva Melina and her team of Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro blazed a trail through SmackDown, en route to multiple WWE Tag Team Championship reigns. While Melina got hearts pounding with her unique ring entrance, Nitro and Mercury backed up their red-carpet bravado in the ring.

MNM made an immediate impact in their SmackDown debut. Claiming to be the hot new team on the scene because of their good looks and the celebrity circles they run in, MNM walked to the ring on a red carpet with paparazzi photographers snapping pictures. One week later in their first SmackDown Match, Mercury & Nitro defeated Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero to win the WWE Tag Team Championship. Two more title reigns would eventually follow.

Daivari has brought a monster to SmackDown by the name of The Great Khali. Hailing from India, The Great Khali proved to be a force to be reckoned with as he decimated Undertaker on several occasions including a one-on-one victory at Judgment Day. Daivari was also partly responsible for bringing the most barbaric match in WWE history to The Great American Bash: the Punjabi Prison Match.
Another Daivari partnership was with "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry. Together, they created havoc in the ring. Henry challenged Undertaker in a Casket Match at WrestleMania but Daivari was unable to accompany Henry to because of the damage inflicted by the Dead Man at Saturday Night's Main Event. In Daivari's absence, Henry fell at WrestleMania and Undertaker improved to a perfect 14-0 on the grandest stage of them all.

Daivari grew up in your typical ideal all-American neighborhood. However, what Daivari has experienced living as an Arab-American isn't so ideal. In fact, Daivari believes that he has been unjustly targeted with outrageous prejudice, violence and disrespect by the American public to horrifying levels that have created a great deal of anger, resentment and rage within Daivari.

Debuting on WWE programming in fall of 2004 leading a self-righteous crusade to avenge the injustices he feels the American public has inflicted upon him, the Farsi-shouting RAW Superstar and has made quite an impact thus far in his young career. Whether it's managing or competing in the squared circle, Daivari is determined to spread his message. In fact, Daivari even holds a victory over Shawn Michaels.

Johnny Nitro has been paying close attention to the back and forth battles between Carlito and Shelton Benjamin to see who the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship will be. How long will this up and comer hold onto his reign?
In April 2005, Joey Mercury, Nitro and Melina made an immediate impact in their SmackDown debut. Claiming to be the hot new team on the scene because of their good looks and the celebrity circles they run in, MNM walked to the ring on a red carpet with paparazzi photographers snapping pictures. Interrupting the very first Carlito's Cabana, MNM attacked Rey Mysterio. One week later in their first SmackDown Match, Mercury & Nitro defeated Mysterio & Eddie Guerrero to win the WWE Tag Team Championship. Two more title reigns quickly followed suit.

Much later on, and after two months and five straight losses to London & Kendrick, MNM lost the WWE Tag Team Championship to them at Judgment Day. Nitro & Melina blamed the loss on Mercury, attacking him and effectively putting an end to MNM as a tag team unit. To make matters worse, Melina lost her singles match against Jillian in controversial fashion, and Melina and Nitro went to General Manager Theodore Long to protest the decision. When the GM refused to do anything about it, Melina responded by slapping him right across the face. Melina's actions would not prove to be wise, as Theodore Long fired her and Nitro on the spot, effectively ending the couple's run on SmackDown.

Nitro and Melina made their RAW debut soon afterwards, but it was an unsuccessful one as Nitro lost to John Cena after tapping out to the STFU. However, Nitro did manage to score his first RAW victory the following week when he defeated Charlie Haas; when Melina ran into the ring and feigned injuring her ankle, Nitro used the distraction to roll Haas up, using a handful of tights to help him get the victory. Nitro then took on Carlito and thanks to Benjamin's interference, Nitro was able to defeat the Caribbean Superstar with an impressive standing Shooting Star Press. It was later announced that all three men would meet at Vengeance in a Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship. The following week, Nitro and Benjamin faced Carlito in a Handicap Match; while the two argued during the bout, they held it together long enough for Nitro to pin Carlito once again. At Vengeance, Nitro stole Carlito's pinfall on Shelton Benjamin to win the Intercontinental Championship.

Lashley became the No. 1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship in his DQ win against Finlay. He may have had some trouble in trying to win the United States Championship from Finlay in the past, but he is now on track for even bigger things.
The focused, driven Lashley has always been clear about his ultimate goal. He's wrestled his entire life, all with the purpose of one day becoming a WWE Superstar. He's a three-time wrestling national champion and a four-time wrestling All-American. He's also a two-time Armed Forces Champion and took home the silver medal in the 2002 CISM World Championships -- competing against the best of the rest of the world's military.

Yet, for Lashley, all that was a precursor to training for his WWE career. This mixed martial arts expert is already a renowned champion at the amateur level, and now Lashley has begun his climb toward WWE stardom.

Lashley entered WWE late in 2005, and did it in impressive fashion. His first match in WWE was with fitness guru, Simon Dean. Lashley manhandled Simon, garnering the attention of everyone in the building with his devastating finisher, the Dominator. By the time Survivor Series rolled around, Lashley was on fire. The undefeated rookie earned a spot in the 5-on-5 inter-promotional match representing the SmackDown brand. Lashley continued to impress, helping lead SmackDown to a huge victory.

Early in 2006, Lashley was still undefeated and dominating his opponents. On a February edition of SmackDown, Lashley scored a controversial victory over JBL. The '"Wrestling God" was distracted by the Boogeyman, and Lashley took advantage of the situation to get the upper hand and defeat JBL. At No Way Out, Lashley was determined to prove that the SmackDown victory was no fluke. Unfortunately, outside interference from Finlay allowed JBL to hit the Clothesline from Hell and end Lashley's undefeated streak.

Lashley brawled with Finlay throughout the month leading up to WrestleMania 22 and both Superstars landed a spot in the 6-man Money in the Bank ladder match. WrestleMania 22 was Lashley's first time at the big dance, and while he didn't come out victorious, it was clear that this rising star would be a force for many years to come.

Finlay took matters into his own hands when his king, King Booker, defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Batista. After helping the champion win, the Irishman continued to beat the Animal into a bloody mess. To say the least, he has managed to steal Batista's attention from getting the gold, as a heated, new rivalry enters SmackDown.
Finlay has made his mission clear: he's here to fight. That's exactly what he's going to do, and he's always been good at it. Hailing from the mean streets of Belfast, Ireland, Finlay will tell you that he loves to fight, and this double-tough individual can back up his bravado.

Throughout his career, Finlay has been regarded as one of the toughest men to ever step foot inside the ring. Originally plying his trade in Europe, Finlay held 16 major championships in Great Britain and Germany before coming to the United States in the mid-1990s. Landing in WCW, Finlay immediately began an intense rivalry with fellow European William Regal. Finlay went on to win the WCW Television Championship from Booker T in 1998, but made his true mark in WCW's Hardcore division. However, shortly after winning the first ever Hardcore Junkyard Invitational in 1999, Finlay suffered a severe leg injury at a WCW live event when he was sent crashing through a table. After a short stay in WCW following his return, Finlay returned to his native Great Britain to wrestle in 2001.

After five years away from American rings, Finlay came to SmackDown in January 2006 looking to fight. Less than a month after his return, Finlay became involved in a heated rivalry with Bobby Lashley. The war began at No Way Out, when Finlay hit Lashley with his shillelagh, costing Lashley his match with JBL and ending his undefeated streak. SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long ordered a rematch on March 10, with the winner qualifying for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania 22. However, that match never got started, as both men brawled out into the parking lot, with Lashley nearly overturning a car onto Finlay. Finally, the two met in a Lumberjack Match; thanks to his shillelagh, Finlay won the match and qualified for WrestleMania.

Finlay next took part in the King of the Ring tournament on SmackDown and Irish eyes were certainly smiling upon Finlay last July when he earned the United States Championship. With the help of his miniature associate, Little Bastard, and not one, but two shillelaghs, Finlay unseated his heated rival Bobby Lashley to do it. The Irish United States Champion left The Great American Bash with his championship still around his waist. With Lashley rendered unable to compete by Teddy Long, Finlay faced fellow royal Court member, William Regal. Regal came up short as Finlay got some assistance from Little Bastard and Regal's right boot, however, Finlay was honored in SmackDown's first-ever knighthood ceremony, called by King Booker. The royal knighting was spoiled by an intense Bobby Lashley who came to the ring to battle the King's court.

Candice has quickly become one of the most recognizable WWE Divas of all time. Candice has been heating things up inside the ring ever since she debuted on RAW in 2004, but it wasn't until the 2005 Super Bowl that she began gaining some serious national attention as the "GoDaddy.com" girl. Her memorable GoDaddy.com commercial first aired during the 2005 Super Bowl and parodied the 2004 Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction. Candice as "Nikki Cappelli" captured America with her swiveling dance and "wardrobe malfunction" and has been appearing in commercials for the company ever since.
But Candice's star is rising even higher. The devilish Diva was the cover girl for the April 2006 edition of Playboy. Bearing all, Candice is following in the footsteps of other WWE Divas such as Torrie Wilson, Sable and Chyna. But according to Candice, she is the hottest to ever grace the cover of the popular men's magazine.

She made that abundantly clear in March on RAW. Torrie Wilson and Victoria helped Candice unveil her red-hot cover. After the cover was revealed, and Candice emerged, she took a shot at Torrie, claiming that she was hotter in Playboy than Wilson was. Torrie took offense to this and let Candice know. It appeared they would patch things up, as the two embraced. But Candice signaled to Victoria with a wink, and the two double-teamed Torrie. Candice proved that her beauty is only matched by her devious mean streak.

It appeared as though Candice was tight with Torrie. After the 2005 Draft Lottery, Candice was traded to SmackDown. But General Manager Theodore Long deemed her too hot for network TV, so she was traded back to RAW. It was here that she quickly aligned herself with Torrie Wilson and Victoria. The trio of Divas began terrorizing the 2005 RAW Diva Search winner Ashley almost immediately. They began giving the newcomer a hard time, punishing her for her victory in the contest. But then Trish Stratus arrived on the scene and began to even the odds. Candice was in the corner of Torrie and Victoria at Unforgiven, but Trish and Ashley prevailed. Even so, this rivalry has never been fully resolved.

Carlito spits in the face of people who don't want to be cool, and apparently, many WWE Superstars fall into the category. Exceptionally opinionated and full of himself, Carlito projects quite the smooth demeanor. Armed with an apple in hand, Carlito isn't afraid to unload a mouthful of apple and spit it into your face after labeling you not cool. Of course, this has led to a great deal of trouble for Carlito as WWE Superstars haven't taken his attitude well.
Debuting with a big impact, Carlito defeated reigning United States Champion John Cena in his first WWE match in October 2004. Quickly making a lot of enemies, Carlito found himself in need of some back-up. Always scheming, Carlito introduced his Puerto Rican muscle -- Jesus. It was around this time in November 2004 that tragedy struck, as John Cena was stabbed in a Boston nightclub following a SmackDown event. An investigation was launched, but a culprit was never found. However, Carlito and his associate were both rumored to being connected to the hideous attack on Cena.

In February 2006, Carlito said that he had an idea for WrestleMania 22 that was "money in the bank." Later announced that his idea was approved by Mr. McMahon, and the second Money in the Bank Ladder Match was sanctioned for WrestleMania. Unfortunately for Carlito, he was defeated by Rob Van Dam the next week, failing to qualify for the match. However, on RAW, Carlito was still rewarded with a great WrestleMania opportunity, as it was announced that Carlito & Chris Masters would face Big Show and Kane for the World Tag Team Championship. Masters and Carlito attacked the champions that night, and for the next month, the challengers did everything they could to throw the champions off their game. It didn't work, and when the rivalry culminated at WrestleMania, Masters accidentally clobbered Carlito, allowing Big Show and Kane to defeat them and retain the World Tag Team Championship.

What's next for Carlito? Only time will tell -- but one thing's for sure... it has to be cool.

Trish Stratus has now officially retired from wrestling after her record-breaking seventh Women's title victory over Lita in September, but she didn't have an easy time of it. Following a tough series of matches against Mickie James over the summer, Trish's matches were interrupted by Melina with claims of how she had become the dominant diva in the WWE and Lita hounded the Canadian bombshell with nasty words of her own.
But whether she retired as the Women's Champion or not, Trish was one of RAW's all time elite Superstars. Her beauty is second to none, and her brains, strength and ability to get the job done make her the total package. A three-time WWE.com Babe of the Year, multiple time Divas magazine cover girl and seven-time Champion, Trish has proven that she can succeed in all facets of being a WWE Diva.

Renowned for her work as a fitness model, Stratus entered WWE in March 2000 as a manager, leading the careers of Test, Albert and Val Venis. As a manager, she led Venis to the Intercontinental Championship and began her long-standing rivalry with Lita, but her beauty and athleticism left the fans asking for more Trish. She made her in-ring debut that June, teaming with T&A against the Hardy Boyz & Lita, and looking back it's only fitting that Trish's first match was against perhaps her greatest rival. Later, she went on to feud with the likes of Molly Holly, Jazz, Victoria, and Stephanie McMahon.

After a brutal attack by Mark Henry on Friday Night SmackDown in May, Chris Benoit has taken an indefinite sabbatical from SmackDown. That night, Henry destroyed Benoit, repeatedly ramming the Rabid Wolverine into the ringpost. The World's Strongest Man lost the match by disqualification, but the damage was done and Benoit had to be taken from ringside on a stretcher. There is no timetable for Benoit's return, but the fans can only hope that "The Crippler" comes back to SmackDown sooner rather than later.
Certainly deserving of his nickname "The Rabid Wolverine," Chris Benoit is one of the toughest, most aggressive competitors in WWE. Benoit's intensity and no-nonsense attitude has earned him the respect of many WWE Superstars, and his in-ring ability has earned him several championships around the world. Benoit is certainly no stranger to tough battles, having trained with Stu Hart in his legendary "dungeon" in Calgary. The dungeon produced numerous other superstars, such as Bret Hart, Owen Hart, the British Bulldog and Chris Jericho to name a few.

Prior to coming to WWE, Benoit wrestled in Japan, ECW and WCW. He won his first major championship in Japan, defeating the legendary Jushin "Thunder" Liger for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship in 1990. After moving to ECW, Benoit earned the nickname "The Crippler" when he broke Sabu's neck. During his two years in ECW, Benoit won the ECW Tag Team Championship with good friend Dean Malenko. Moving to WCW in 1995, Benoit became a member of the legendary Four Horsemen, standing alongside Ric Flair and Arn Anderson. During that time, he had one of the most intense rivalries in WCW history with Kevin Sullivan before beginning a long-running feud with Booker T. The two traded the WCW Television Championship a few times before eventually beginning a historic Best-of-Seven Series for the gold. Benoit also held the United States Championship and WCW Tag Team Championship twice each before leaving WCW. On his final night in WCW, Benoit appeared to win the WCW Championship at Souled Out, but the decision was reversed the next night.

In early 2000, Benoit jumped from WCW to WWE along with Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero, and Perry Saturn. Calling themselves "The Radicalz," they debuted on RAW in January 2000. Benoit was immediately successful, capturing the Intercontinental Championship just two months after his WWE debut at WrestleMania 2000. He would go on to hold that championship twice more that same year.

A major setback in Benoit's career occurred in 2001; shortly after winning the World Tag Team Championship with Chris Jericho, a major injury caused the Rabid Wolverine to have major neck surgery (which put him out of action for an entire year). Upon returning, Benoit set his goal on reaching the top. Drafted to SmackDown during the 2002 brand extension, Benoit found himself teaming with hated rival Kurt Angle. The two won the WWE Tag Team Championship together in October 2002, and would go on to have a memorable match for the WWE Championship at the 2003 Royal Rumble.

One year later, Benoit entered the 2004 Royal Rumble Match as the No. 1 entrant and defeated twenty nine other Superstars to win the match. In an unprecedented move, Benoit used a loophole and jumped to RAW to fight for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XX. In another memorable WrestleMania bout, Benoit defeated Triple H and Shawn Michaels in a Triple Threat Match to win the championship (making Triple H tap out to the Crippler Crossface). After the match, then-WWE champion and best friend Eddie Guerrero celebrated in the ring with Benoit as the show went off the air in a WrestleMania moment. Benoit may have eventually dropped the strap a few months afterward, but to this day, his win at WrestleMania remains the highlight of his long career.

Mickie stormed onto the RAW scene in the fall of 2005, and the Divas division hasn't been the same ever since. The excitable Mickie stormed the ring on RAW, coming to the aid of Trish Stratus who was being attacked by the vicious Victoria. Mickie revealed that she was actually Trish's biggest fan. She idolized Trish and even watched several of her matches with her grandpappy. Mickie was more than happy to propel herself into the middle of the ongoing conflict between Trish and her adversaries -- Candice, Torrie Wilson and Victoria. In fact, Mickie has made herself a permanent fixture in Trish's business ever since.
Mickie went from being "excitable" to being "psycho" but it was paying dividends. She constantly seemed to have Trish off her game, which was perfect for Mickie heading into WrestleMania 22. While many think that Mickie may have a screw or two loose, she proved that she knows exactly what she's doing inside the ring. James focused on Trish's knee and worked it over throughout their match at WrestleMania. Trish kept trying to fight back, but she couldn't put much weight on her injured leg. In the end, Mickie was able to catch Trish with the Mick Kick for the 1-2-3 and her first-ever Women's Championship.

Today, Mickie James is current the favorite to win the 2006 WWE Women's Championship tournament being held in the aftermath of Trish's retirement. As the last woman to defeat Trish for the title and the youngest and most well-rounded competitor in the face-off, the young talent is poised to finally get out Stratus's shadow and into a limelight all her own.

Batista's frustrations continue, as does his quest for the World Heavyweight Championship. "The Animal" got a second chance at King Booker, but after the champion got help from Finlay, Batista found himself on the losing end of the bout with a bloody head and a naked waist.
Decked out in expensive shades, apocalyptic tattoos and dressing in slick suits, Batista has the presence of a World Heavyweight Champion. However, get him angry and you will bare witness to "the Animal" being unleashed. Projecting incredible intensity and confidence, Batista proved to be a thinking man's World Heavyweight Champion. A fearless man of a few words, Batista makes those words count and backs them up in the ring with his raw power, twisting spines with the Batista Bomb.

Batista's career took off when he joined Evolution. This move would be a defining moment as this is where he met soon-to-be running mates Ric Flair, Triple H, and Randy Orton. The four superstars would team up to form one of the most dominating groups in wrestling history. Ric Flair played the role of legend, Triple H the leader, and Batista and Orton as the future stars.

Evolution was all about fine suits, gorgeous women, fast cars, and taking care of business in the ring. Batista quickly learned from Flair and Triple H, winning the tag titles with Flair in 2003. Despite championship gold, Evolution began to crumble when Triple H's jealously over Randy Orton winning the World Heavyweight Championship led to Orton being dumped from Evolution. Triple H wanted to make a statement that he was the leader of Evolution and no one was going to take his spot. For Batista, this was a wake-up call. No matter how great he became, he realized, he would always have a glass ceiling over his head because of Triple H's obsession with the World Heavyweight Championship. Batista stayed loyal, but he remained cautious.

In late 2004, rumors of unrest in Evolution surfaced, and toward the end of the year, tensions between Batista and Triple H became noticeable to the viewing public. The situation was pushed to the brink when The Game used psychological warfare to attempt to persuade Royal Rumble Match winner Batista to defect to SmackDown! and challenge for the WWE Championship -- rather than remain on RAW and challenge him for the World Heavyweight Championship. In resounding fashion, during a contract-signing session, Batista declared that he was staying put by sending Triple H through a table with a Batista Bomb. He then signed the RAW contract, pitting him against Triple H at WrestleMania 21. There, he would reach the pinnacle of sports-entertainment -- thanks, in a large part, to his ability to power out of Triple H's Pedigree finisher attempt.

After WrestleMania, Batista continued his momentum, defeating his rival Triple H in a rematch at Backlash and in a memorable and bloody Hell in a Cell match at Vengeance 2005. In just his first few months, Batista had done the impossible by defeating the former World Champion and "Cerebral Assassin" Triple H in three consecutive matches --- something no other Superstar has ever done. In the summer of 2005, things heated up for Batista when he was selected as the last pick of the 2005 Draft Lottery bringing SmackDown its champion after WWE Champion John Cena was drafted from SmackDown to RAW. Unfortunately for JBL, this came on the heels of what was supposed to be the affluent tycoon's defining moment as the face of SmackDown! However, with World Heavyweight Champion Batista on board, the Championship controversy instantly ended, leaving JBL without the top prize. Over the course of the summer, JBL would go on to target Batista and the World Heavyweight Championship only for Batista to defeat JBL in a violent No Holds Barred encounter at SummerSlam before his hometown crowd in Washington, D.C.

Batista looked unstoppable, but the World's Strongest Man Mark Henry made a shocking return to SmackDown and blindsided the Animal. Mark Henry instantly became Batista's top priority. The two looked to be on a collision course for destruction, and that proved to be all too true for Batista. At a live event, Batista suffered a serious triceps injury at the hands of Henry. The injury required surgery and the Animal was forced to surrender the World Heavyweight Championship. Batista's surgery was successful, though, and the Animal returned to action just a few months ago.

At Judgment Day, Mark Henry recorded an impressive victory over fellow Olympian Kurt Angle. Henry won the contest by count-out after running the former World Champion Angle into a ring post with such force that he was unable to make it back to the ring by the count of ten. After the match, Angle took out his frustration on Henry with a steel chair, and eventually, sending the mammoth weightlifter through the announce table.
"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry continues to impress with his massive size and incredible strength. Henry fell victim to Undertaker at their WrestleMania 22 Casket Match, however, Henry is resilient and was back to put Batista out of action not too long afterward.

Breaking records, pumping iron and devastating opponents with his unmatched strength, it's no wonder they call Mark Henry "The World's Strongest Man." Henry's rise to fame began in 1992 at the Olympics in Barcelona, where he competed in weightlifting in the super-heavyweight division. Three years later at the Pan American Games, Henry captured a gold, silver and bronze medal, solidifying his place as one of the strongest men ever to walk the planet. He has also engaged in Strongman competitions, including the 2002 "World's Strongest Man" competition at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic, where Henry earned first prize.

Henry began his WWE career in 1996. He worked on his own, but in 1997 he was soon lured into the faction known as the Nation of Domination, which also featured The Rock. The group broke up in late '98, and Henry went back to singles competition. After holding the WWE European Championship in 1999, Henry took time off in 2001 to train for another Strongman competition. Henry returned to the ring in 2002 and was drafted to the SmackDown roster and later briefly appeared on RAW after a big trade.

Mark Henry has gone toe to toe with top stars such as Rob Van Dam, Shawn Michaels, Booker T, Batista and Undertaker. This big man is a force to be feared every time he steps into the ring. The giant monster Henry now eyes his own meteoric rise on Friday Night SmackDown, vowing destroy anyone who gets in his way.

Never before had a WWE Superstar compared himself to the works of such genius as Michelangelo, Mozart and Hemingway -- that is, until "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters came along. Carving an impressive body out of muscle, there is no denying that Masters is truly a masterpiece. Flaunting his self-proclaimed flawless physique, "The Masterpiece" has quickly made a name for himself as a top up and coming RAW Superstar, and his impressive power has forced many top WWE Superstars to submit to his devastating Master Lock finisher along the way.
Debuting in memorable fashion in February 2005, Masters crushed the face of Steven Richards, sidelining him for months and leaving an impact that would send chills through the RAW locker room. Not only did he force Richards to submit to his devastating Master Lock, he splintered Richards' nose and fractured the orbital bone around his eye with one punishing blow, proving that the power Masters possesses is quite profound and intimidating. Following his debut, Masters' confidence grew to monstrous proportions. Convinced that his Master Lock is unbreakable, Masters began to challenge anyone from the fans to RAW Superstars to attempt to break the devastating hold. To date, no one has overcome Masters' impressive submission.

Following his explosive debut, Masters has feuded with Shawn Michaels, competed for the WWE Championship in the Elimination Chamber, and participated in numerous tag team matches with Caribbean Cool himself, Carlito. After WrestleMania, Carlito and Masters had a bitter feud of their own. Recently, Chris has been feuding with new RAW superstar Super Crazy and has put his name in the circle of Intercontinental challengers. Where he'll go from here, is likely up.

Since their debut, Armando Alejandro Estrada and his protégé Umaga have been a force to be reckoned with. Umaga is currently undefeated, and has lately begun targeting high profile Superstars in his attempt to reach the top of WWE. Most recently, Umaga has been in a bitter "Battle of the Monsters" feud with the Big Red Machine, Kane. Who will come out on top remains to be seen.
Not much is known about Umaga, other than that he is a dangerous individual of Samoan heritage. Manager Armando Alejandro Estrada enjoys the finer things in life, and has finally seized the spotlight with Umaga; together, they are on RAW to wreak havoc and get some of what Estrada covets the most: money.

Estrada and Umaga burst onto the scene the night after WrestleMania 22, interrupting Ric Flair. As Flair stood in the ring talking about WrestleMania, he was interrupted by Estrada, who introduced himself as a Cuban businessman that had watched Flair as a child growing up in Cuba. He told Flair that his time had passed and that America needed a new hero, and attempted to introduce the man who would change the face of Monday Night RAW. Flair interrupted Estrada, telling him to bring out his protégé. Estrada then introduced Umaga, who came out to the ring. Flair went to attack Umaga as he entered the ring, but Estrada clipped Flair's knee from behind. Umaga and Estrada then stomped down and choked out the "Nature Boy," with Umaga laying out Flair with a modified overhead neckbreaker for good measure. The next week, Umaga made his in-ring debut, destroying his opponent in short order and finishing him off with a version of the Asiatic Spike.

Look for big things in the future from this very big man.

After training in OVW and the WWE's other farm federation Deep South Wrestling, Paul Burchill made his WWE debut on an August 2005 episode of Velocity when he interrupted a match between his fellow Englishman, William Regal and Scotty 2 Hotty. Burchill quickly established an alliance with his countryman soon afterwards.
His WWE Friday Night SmackDown debut occurred that September, when he teamed with William Regal to defeat Scotty 2 Hotty and Funaki (after Burchill forced Scotty tap out with the "Royal Mutilation"). Regal & Burchill were then part of a Fatal Fourway Tag Match facing The Mexicools, MNM, and Road Warrior Animal & Heidenreich, with the Winner acquiring the WWE Tag Team Championship. Regal & Burchill came up short when MNM won the titles from Heidenreich & Animal. Regal & Burchill continued tagging together, mainly feuding with The Mexicools on Velocity. Regal often acted as a manager for Burchill during his singles matches.

On a February 2006 edition of SmackDown, Regal and Burchill told SmackDown! "network representative" Palmer Canon that they no longer wanted to be a tag team so they could go their separate ways. During this discussion Burchill informed Canon that his family heritage traces back to the pirate Blackbeard, and that he wanted to do a pirate gimmick. He followed through on this promise the following week when he appeared backstage dressed as a pirate, with a look similar to that of Captain Jack Sparrow of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

Burchill with his babyface persona would start a rivalry with former team mate Regal who would weekly try to convince Burchill to return to his ruthless ways. Burchill would once again defeat William Regal in a singles match in April, however, this match saw a stipulation that required Regal to dress like a "buxom wench" until Burchill lost a match. Burchill even made Regal dress up in various costumes such as a gorilla suit and a chicken outfit. Eventually, he made Regal dress up like a buccaneer for their tag match later in the night against Gymini. Burchill would end up abandoning Regal during the match, which led to Gymini picking up the victory.

Sadly, in mid-2006, Burchill required knee surgery following a ravaging by Mark Henry. Currently, the English wrestler is recovering well and wrestling in OVW to hone his skills. Expect him to return with an all-new gimmick sometime in the future.

The bitterness between Mick Foley and Ric Flair goes back to their tenure at WCW in the early 1990's, where Foley claims that Flair tried to bury his career. At Vengeance, Foley used his 2 Out of 3 Falls Match with Flair to embarrass the 16-time World Champion. He pledged to beat the "Nature Boy" using technical skills, but mid-match he abandoned that method and diverted to his hardcore roots. The match ended in a disqualification for Foley -- and a bloodbath for Flair. Since then, Natche has been obsessed with feuding with the Hardcore Legend... arguing with the bearded one every single week and by participating in a brutal "I Quit" bout at SummerSlam.
But regardless of who Flair is feuding with, in a sport with legendary names, no one still competing garners as much respect as that of the 16-time world champion. He's the master of the Figure-Four Leglock and the marathon match. He's a cornerstone of the two most influential factions in the history of sports-entertainment. And when given a microphone, Flair's spontaneity and enthusiasm elevate him into a class unto itself. All you have to do is listen to the crowd return his signature "Wooo!" call at the top of their lungs.

Indeed, Flair has made a name for himself by being "the man" in and away from the ring. He's known for dressing in tailor-made suits, seducing gorgeous women and flying (after main events) to parties in trendy hotspots around the world. Despite his age, Flair has shown remarkable resiliency. In a match now called "The Great Escape," he defeated Triple H in a Steel Cage Match at Taboo Tuesday. Then, Flair nearly won an unprecedented 17th world championship battling Edge in a memorable "Tables, Ladders and Chairs" Match that left "The Nature Boy" broken and bloodied. Still, Flair bounced back to win a "Money in the Bank" Qualifying Match on RAW, earning him a spot in the WrestleMania 22 Ladder contest. "The Nature Boy" didn't win at WrestleMania, but he still believes he has a 17th world championship run in him.

Flair made his AWA debut in 1972, and two years later moved on to the National Wrestling Alliance. On September 17, 1981, Flair defeated Dusty Rhodes in Kansas City to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship for the first time. In 1985, Ric Flair teamed with Tully Blanchard, Ole & Arn Anderson, and manager J.J. Dillon to form the Four Horsemen, one of the most famous and dominant factions in sport-entertainment history. In his storied career, Flair went on to trade the NWA Championship with greats such as Ricky Steamboat, Harley Race and Kerry Von Erich throughout the '80s. On January 11, 1991, Flair defeated Sting in East Rutherford, N.J., to become the first WCW Champion. By the end of the year, Flair had jumped to WWE.

In January 1992, Flair survived the Royal Rumble, entering at No. 3, to win his first WWE Championship. It was the only time that the WWE Championship was awarded in a Rumble-style match. After a successful stint in WWE, Flair returned to WCW the following year and recaptured the WCW strap. The legendary Nature Boy defended his championship against the likes of Vader, Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan. After WCW was purchased by WWE in March 2001, Flair took a brief hiatus. During his time off, Flair was able to reassess his priorities. It was at this time, he realized he belonged in no other place than in the ring. He made his long-awaited WWE return to a standing ovation in November 2001. There, he informed Mr. McMahon that in a stock-trading coup, he had acquired 50 percent of the company. McMahon had no choice but to take him on as co-owner of WWE.

The two continually butted heads, leading to a Street Fight at Royal Rumble 2002, which Flair won. The animosity between the two grew intolerable, forcing WWE CEO Linda McMahon to declare a brand split so that the co-owners could independently control separate properties. Flair took control of RAW and drafted its roster. He remained a powerful WWE stockholder until June 2002.
