A video (from Jeremy Borash) showing Kevin Nash being scanned for the game.

There is a couple others of other people being scanned as well, I think on his YouTube profile.

Proper confirmation that the game is still being worked on, I guess.

This is one of those rare occasions where I am going to use an emotion...

Gooding luck finding a company to actually produce the game

it won't be THQ/Yukes since they are still under WWE Contract & that contract prohibits them from producing any other wrestling based game until the contract expires

They will probably get some small company to pick them up.

However, I hope EA picks them up.

You all seen how EA destroyed the competition in the skating market with Skate., and now they should do the same with the wrestling market, using TNA iMPACT! 2 to kill off the WWE series of games, or at least makes Yukes work their asses off to try and make a better game.

You must've forgot the disaster that was WCW Backstage Assault....and you want a repeat of it?

No, but you see if they buy the TNA license they would have acess to all of the previous work on it, and jus basically finish off the game.

That Was 10 Years Ago...Backstage Assault Will Have Nothing To Do With iMPACT 2

Having more wrestlers to scan is not a problem and sounds like you're making an excuse for WWE. Either do the stuff right or lose sales (like THQ is doing) for more upcoming Smackdown titles.

hate to burst your bubble but it said scan for the video game.

still, many sites clame that Jakks has been scanning almost everybody for the new TNA Action Figures, and considering Midways state i doubt they are going to continue with the game.

The employees working at the San Diego Midway studio still have to work, until the 60 days are over.

Unless someone picks them or the TNA license up, which I hope someone will do.

People learn from there mistakes.I think EA or 2k sports needs to pick it up.THQ/Yukes needs some serious competition just like the WWE itself and that's what TNA is.Sometimes I just think that when there where other promotions on the air everybody had a chance to watch their program and play that programs games. But since WWE has been the only thing around for a minute people just seem to stick with WWE instead of tuning into or trying new things out. WWE has been stale for a while now I'm glad TNA and ROH came around. Sure there no WWE but even WWE started off small too so WWE needs to watch out.

TNA Impact 2: Rise of the Frontline(This sounds like a good title lol) all the way.

Nice to see he's in actual wrestling attire...^The Frontline's been dead and buried for a long, long time now. I don't wanna see iMPACT! dropped but there's nobody good at wrestling games to pick it up. 2K Sports should stick to their amazing NBA games and EA? Please. EA Sports, whatever they're calling themselves can't even make a recent Madden game feel really good.

Also sticking to the game and just changing things here and there will not do anybody favors, it needs something to make it standout and the glitches really need to be fixed which I don't see happening.

On a sidenote it was funny when the select complete TNA marks used to say the game would be perfect and there'd be no glitches/awesome story mode (which is alright) and the game has been out for a long time and both things are untrue
