TNA Impact 2 Update

Recommended Posts
Variety has an article from Friday noting that Warner Bros. has officially purchased most of Midway Games' assets for $33 million with no other bidders emerging. The purchase includes the "Mortal Kombat" franchise and legacy arcade games such as "Joust" and "Spy Hunter." One license not picked up was the "TNA iMPACT" series which was in developmental for a sequel. So the future of "TNA iMPACT 2" appears to be very much in doubt.
Actually no it wasn't...yuor article that you posted only stated the approval of the sale & mentioned nothing about Warner Bros. not picking up TNA Impact 2,where as this article states that very fact, simliar article, but not the same as you said it was already post.

Actually, I did. However I referenced it indirectly.

You see, TNA iMPACT! 2 was being made in Midway's San Diego Studio.

And in my article, it says that the San Diego and Newcastles studios weren't picked up by Warner Bros. and that they both had 60 days to find a bidder.

So, I did in fact state that TNA wasn't picked up by saying that the studio who makes iMPACT! 2 wasn't picked up.

You see?

Since it is currently being made in San Diego, I thought for a while, and then thought of other game studios in the area. I could only come up with Rockstar San Diego. Maybe they could pick them up?

A big company would be good for them, then again Midway was a pretty big company (in my eyes) and look where it went!
