TNA game attire *NOW WITH FORMULA*

While making this version i have tweaked the jaw area by lowering jaw height a bit and adding a few clicks to the jaw depth. I think its a slight improvement. The side profile definitely looks better. Ive also tweaked the body morph a bit, changed the body skin, shortened the hair and made the scorpion design wider which has improved the attire's in-game look alot imo.
Ive tried to make this version look as authentic as possible attire and facepaint wise but its been a bit tricky with the layer limit..as usual. Facepaint wise its fairly simular to my SVR08 version which went down well at the time and i think this version has turned out well.
There's a slight deay on it going up in the archive so i thought id post the formula here for now.
Here's the formula pics...formula is in the spoiler below them.

Ok. it’s a done deal people. Enjoy!
For a 32 layer version of this look I think I’ve done well tbh. Unfortunately I had no layers left, or way of shaving layers to do the black triangle on the tights, or to add the entrance jacket though. Overall I think PS3 owners will be happy with how this has turned out anyway.
If anyone has any problems with the formula or just wants to tell me what they think of this CAW feel free to PM me through the Caws.ws forum or drop a message in my Sting topic in the PS3 section and I’ll get back to you asap if there is a problem etc.

Last but certainly not least…Thanks to everyone that has supported this CAW in the PS3 preview section. Its those people taking the time to post their comments/views etc that give me the motivation to actually write out a formula so that anyone can make use of my CAW’s.

WCW Crow Era *FORMULA POSTED*

I did make a few tweaks for the formula. Mainly tuning up the body morphing and changing the body skin though. Ive also included a help pic for making up the facepaint which should help you out.
Unfortunately the black lines on the facepaint seem to be a bit broken up in alot of the entrance pics due to having to use my rubbish 2mp camera phone but i can assure you they're all solid lines as you can see in the rest of the pics.
Once again i apologise for the generic attire but its all i could do after using so many layers up on facepaint.
Anyway, i hope you lot like the finished product :D

Cheers enigma. For what do i need 32 layers?...well you'd be surprised at how quickly they run out when doing a facepaint like this. It may not look like much but it takes up plenty of em. Remember some layers are already taken up by mantatory things too so you dont get a full 32 layers for adding stuff. Trust me...this is 32 layers.
I'll take 3/10 for the attire coz its as generic as they get but it aint far off from what he wore back then tbh...just the scorpions are off...but if you also mean 3/10 for the facepaint id say thats a bit harsh as its quite close to what he had in that era. Everyone has their own opinions though.

10.1/10

But seriously..the face paint is wonderful and so is the morphing. I suppose the attire is fine too.
id would give you 9/10
but for what you need 32 layers???
face maybe 10
then the clothes and design 3
???
For a good quality caw.

LOL...Much appreciated iKnow-Nub :D. Its a pity i couldnt do something more with the attire. 32 layers just doesnt allow for a good facepaint and a good attire design for this era of Sting. I have the same problem every year but i absolutely hate the generic 1 layer facepaint that people use for him so i always choose to spend the layers on facepaint instead of attire...lesser of the two evils imo. Unfortunately the old generic look will have to do :(

@ N!c: Thanks man :D. Tbh i really cant see where i could free a layer up because there's no entrance attire so it would have to be something off the facepaint or maybe the the gloves being removed and i honestly dont its worth it really as the right tights with the pads just make the scorpion design look even worse lol as it overlaps the pads really badly.

@ JoE3: I guess you like it then LOL....much appreciated :D

I think this face paint could save some layers, it's virtually the same era

also, Are you planning any other attires?, i'd really like to see this one

Mnnn thats the paint i tried out last year i think. It may save a couple of layers but i think thats the only pic ive seen of that version tbh so im not sure if there's more lines to it as the hair is in the way of the outer parts.
Regarding the other attire, the facepaint would be easy as its in the game in 2 seperate layers if i remember rightly but even with a bunch of free'd up layers that scorpion design on the t-shirt could be a nightmare...especially as its at the angle it is. I actually recall trying that attire out this year and not being that happy with the results tbh. I would be tempted to give it another go though now ive started this new version of Sting.

@ Detroit: Cheers. I currently dunno how to improve it though tbh. I think more layers would be my only option right now lol.

@ Versace: Thanks. Im almost glad people are rating the face seperately as im always gutted about using this generic attire.

@ N!c: Yeah, i did make that facepaint last year. Never bothered releasing that version though. However im 100% sure i'll release this one pretty soon although i dont expect it to be rated that highly coz of the attire tbh.

@ lassejuhl: Thanks. I appreciate the comment and enthusiasm there man. I guarantee this will be released soon but not right now. Gotta let it gather some more opinions and any possible tweaks first. Remember its only been previewed for like 2 days so far.

Perfect! Looks so sick.

Although I'd argue that the lines coming down from his mouth are meant to go in more of a downwards direction - eg. http://members.fortunecity.com/corvus91370/rant.jpg (Might need to copy paste that link into address bar)

PS I'm sure we'd all want to see some entrance pics with the trench too, that'd be awesome.

Thanks man. Yeah, you are right about the lines at either side of his mouth. I'll look into that today to see if there's a better alternative. Thanks for the input.
The trenchcoat would be pretty awesome if i had a layer spare to add it...unfortunately im totally burnt out on layers man :(
