.DUB Posted November 19, 2008 Report Share Posted November 19, 2008 Last night, Munster played the All Blacks in the official opening of their new stadium, also celebrating the 30th anniversary of Munster beating them in 1978. Which was huge by any standards, and is probably one of the greatest underdog wins [i]ever[/i]. In the match last night, Munster played a passionate, dogged, fantastic game of rugby and were unlucky not to win, losing in the last 5 minutes. Great match, one of the best I've seen. Before the match, the All Blacks did their Haka as usual. But before they could do theirs, the 4 Kiwis on the Munster team performed their own Haka, in a unique moment. Made even better by the crowd, who then remained deadly silent for the New Zealand one. Atmosphere was off the charts, and it was just brilliant.
