RockstarAC
hey guys - im having a bit of a problem visiting jeffhardyno1fan's profile http://caws.ws/forum/index.php?showuser=35017 the rest of the site ... and other websites works perfectly ... yet on his profile (hes asked me to look coz he revamped it) i get the following problems which i will provide screen shots to back up. it goes all glitchy it starts flashing between plain white, a plain dark navy/black and the content of his profile all the toolbars that are usally there dissapear and content of the webpage replaces them - sometimes if i move cursor over where they should be the button below will show where adverts and other boxes of information usally are such as personal information and recent visitors appeared in a box slightly out of place (running the mouse cursor made things flash randomly) it also disabled the print screen button ... i had to open his msn window and move it to the side to be able to take a picture of the problem. please note the screen shots dont look bad as theyare not flashing on the still images the only other times ive experianced this problem is when i applied to be a moderator and the application form was glitchy in the exact same way - i tried to fill it out best i could and still dont know if it worked or not also it happened once before after i viewed a .gif which i had running on a loop for ages in a seperate tab my computers recently had windows reinstalled and been scaned for spyware and was rebooted immediatly before taking screen shots please help! messed up screen 1 messed up screen 2 messed up screen 3 normal screen (notice i have toolbars)
The Way Of The Fist
It might just be a problem with Internet Explorer, I remember that used to happen a lot while I was using it.

Spyder78
Not the gifs, it's loading fine for me. Might be IE or your connection, I encountered that a few times on a low WiFi connection at times.

Spyder78
Only other thing that comes to mind is a clever hiding virus. I had a few a few months ago too and they were going undetected with my security programs and had to take laptop in and get it cleaned out and I mean everything only had Windows XP when all said and done or after the formatting certain settings you had before got changed? Like the way your computer connect to internet or security settings

Tom Rice
Have tried this out now wow it actually went completely nuts lol IE was just all over both my screens flashing around everywhere and stopping me doing anything. Definitely a problem with his profile. I'm not sure exactly what it is but it's something to do with a group of GIF images he had on there so I've removed those ones and it should be ok now. Thanks for telling us about it and hopefully this has fixed it for you too
