He just bumped three old topics, he's done it many times before, and pretty much all of his posts are spam and/or just asking for formulas.

For the Spamming: First of all, Why pick on a Newbie, he is new here & will get used to it & know whats right & wrong & what people like/dislike. Give him some Time, when you came here on the like 3rd month people didn't start reporting you.. so let it go.

Secondly, Bumping Old topics isn't against the rules, it's fully legal.

From here on, Mods know their Job ;)

Three months is plenty of time to read the board rules. If he didn't read them by now, that's his own fault.

Newbie? He should read the rules too. Better to warn him now wo he will stop.

Oh, and you mustn't bump old topics, unless there is a good reason.
He bumped a thread from Januari. The topic creater has not posted in months (I think).
That thread was "dead", let it stay that way.

[/quote] It shoulsn't take 3 months to figure out things like that. Took me like a week to figure what to do and what not to do. I know not everyone is the same, but 3 months is too long.

No No, dude get this straight. You can bump a topic at long it isn't Spam. Ive Read all the rules & it says nothing against that. Period. Lets say the topic from January was a "Poll or Fav Color thingy right, if the owner of the forum hasn't been active that doesn't mean he can't bring the topic back to life & tell people on the board what his fav colour is.

& for you, your right. People are different & he may not of have bothered to look at the rules. But still as i've said be4. Many Mods/G-Mods also say this. He is a New Bie give him more time & he will be just like normal. Give him a warning or 2 but don't lik report him 4 every damn thing he does wrong. I mean look at his post & look at yours. Major Difference huh?

You're point? Once again, pay attention.

The topic creator has not posted in months. It's his caw, if he has not released the formula by now, he probably won't. Since he hasn't posted in a long time, PM him.
If it would be about your fav. colour (or something like that), it doesn't matter if the topic creator doesn't post. Why? Simple because he doesn't need to, the other members can "keep it alive".
But no-one else can post the formula for that CAW, except for the topic creator (unless he has given it to someone, or whatever, which he probably hasn't)

I've seen topics that are a few months old being locked because someone bumped them.

WAIT, WAIT, WAIT.
I'm not saying he should be warned or banned because of it (which he can be, but still), just that the topics should be locked..
I don't think you understood that (which might be completely my fault).
Seems like we have been arguing about two different things..
