Cena, Jericho, Orton, Edge and JBL have hardly any chance f getting in. This game is for Legends, not people who are doing well. I'm think Jim Duggan, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, HHH, maybe Kane if were lucky.

I honestly don't care what some people say about the game being intended for legends. IMO, those people have the entire concept completely backwards. The game is for "legends" of Wrestlemania. Plenty of today's top stars have headlined many WM shows. I definitely think that of the current roster, there should be roughly 10 names included in the game.

-Eddie Guerrero (technically not current since he's deceased)
-The Rock (again, he's not current...but he's recent)
-Undertaker (16-0 definitely makes you a legend of WM)
-HBK (Mr. Wrestlemania)
-John Cena (I hate him, but he's been a big part of several WM's)
-HHH (Had an obvious presence at WM for many years)
-etc.

The game title does not suggest anywhere that this is a game specifically for old school legends. It's just a game about the people who made Wrestlemania what it is today. For that reason, it wouldn't make sense to exclude the people who have had equally important roles in the show during the past few years. In my opinion, they should take every single wrestler who appeared in a WM main event, and they should be automatically added to the game. After that point, they should skim through the midcard guys and then add them.

Why would they do the games like that? They'd be limiting their demographics if they did the series like that. They want the game to sell as many copies as possible. If they limit it to wrestlers who only appeared in WM 1-5 or something, I sincerely doubt many of today's fans are going to bother to buy the game. I would certainly still buy it...but I wouldn't like the game as much. As I said...the entire game's appeal to me is the ability to have past vs present. Yes, we can already do that in the Smackdown series...but as I stated...those games are about 10:1 in terms of present: past. In this series, it will be the other way around. Instead of having only a few past guys to fight against the present ones, you'll have a few present guys to fight against the past ones. I definitely don't think they're going to do the series in segments, though...that would absolutely kill their chances of attracting younger players...
