UCW Launch Results!

[Decoy]

Cassidy Reede makes his first on air appearance in UCW as the new General Manager.
He makes his way to the ring waving and thanks the fans for their support.
After grabbing the mic and climbing into the ring, he makes his first announcement as UCW GM. “I’m a man of few words so let’s get down to business, tonight the feud between Dementor and Kunk will come to an end, as they will battle it out inside a 15 foot high steel cage for the UCW Undisputed Championship!” the crowd reacts positively as Mr Reede looks on smiling. “Not to mention Blade Myers will be defending his T.V title against The Unknown Man latter this evening”.

The GM then paused as he began pacing around the ring. “After watching how this company has progressed over the last year, once thing has stood out to me, when it comes to the No-Limits division, quite simply their isn’t enough talent on the roster that can compete for that title, so next up after I finish this announcement there will be a special No-Limits tag team match, pitting the champion, Ryan, & an unknown partner, versus Patrick Manning and an unknown partner of his choosing, and I will be watching carefully to decide who deserves the next title shot!. With that Countdown began making his way down to the ring with a microphone and the Future Icon Champion over his shoulder, he then gets into the ring and stands toe to toe with the new GM. “You know what Cassidy, it’s clear as day to me that when it comes to you and I, I would make a much better GM” The crowd boos as Cassidy listens not impressed. “Not only am I better at business, but as a former UCW champion, and the current Future Icon champion, I’m also much better than you in the ring!”. “Is that so?” Cassidy replies as Countdown nods confidently. “Fine your on!” states Mr Reede as Countdown looks on puzzled. “You and me right now “Champ”, if you beat me you are the new GM, but if I beat you, you are no longer Future Icon Champion and the title will be vacated!” Countdown backs up a bit then agrees. “RING THE BELL” yells Cassidy as we go to an unexpected match up to get the show under way.

The Bell rings as a referee sprints to the ring.

GM vs. Future Icon Championship
Cassidy Reede vs. Countdown©[/b]

Match:

Cassidy gets the first offence grabbing Countdown’s arm in a arm wrench and striking at the back of his shoulder, followed by a quick bulldog.
Cassidy then whips the champion against the ropes before delivering a beautiful hip toss, taking down the champ. Countdown responded by locking the GM’s head under his arm and delivering multiple knees to his stomach, taking control with a Samoan drop into a neckbreaker across his knee.
Cassidy fought back late in the match with a stiff elbow to the face, followed by a side Russian leg sweep. Cassidy went for the quick cover but the champ kicked out at 2.
Cassidy went to the top rope, but Countdown saw an opportunity and gave him an “Oh Canada” knocking him off the top rope and into the centre of the ring. Countdown went for the cover but somehow Cassidy kicked out before the 3!
Countdown then argued with the official over the count, giving Cassidy the chance to get back to his feet. The men then began exchanging blows, knocking down the referee in the process. Countdown slide outside returning with a steel chair, then out of nowhere his nemesis Battlecat ran down and slid in the ring to make the save. He then grabbed the chair off Countdown before bashing him in the head with it himself. He then exited the ring as Cassidy got to his feet, giving the champ a running kick to the head before making the cover as the referee revived 1…….2……..3!!

Cassidy celebrated in the ring as he was handed the Future Icon Championship, he put the belt around his waist for a few photos, then removed it before getting on the mic.
“As promised, this title isn’t mine, it is now officially vacant, I will announce later on what will happen to crown a new champion, thank you!” then Cassidy left the ring with the Future Icon Title in hand, as Battlecat helped the new GM to the back, Countdown looking on from ringside getting to his feet.

2nd Match
Ryan Levy & ??? vs. Patrick Manning & ???[/b]

Ryan made his way to the ring looking puzzled waiting to find out who his partner would be. Then none other than Alex Striker came from the back, making his first UCW appearance in over 7 months!
Ryan didn’t know how to respond, but he didn’t get much time as Patrick Manning made his way to the ring, waiting at the end of the entrance ramp for his partner.
Then the lights dimmed as a mysterious athlete made his way to the ring, announced only by the name “Aaron”.

Match:

Ryan and Striker worked well as a team, saving each other from aerial attacks and performing moves on their opponents one after the other wearing them down.
Ryan hit a spin kick on Patrick before hitting his finishing DDT on Aaron, but Aaron was able to kick out before the 3 count. Striker then hitting a german supplex pin onto Patrick, but his foot touched the rope. Aaron took his eye of the champion for a second to make sure his partner wouldn’t get pinned, then was hit with another DDT out of nowhere from the champ for the pin and the victory.

Ryan continued to celebrate as the other members of the match headed to the back, all of a sudden a familiar athlete jumped over the baracade from the crowd sneaking up behind the champion. It was The Irresistible Force, but with a new look, and apparently a new attitude. Irresistible then struck down the champion from behind before laying into the face and head of the champion. Irresistible then busted open the champion, delivered a final Lightning Bolt Kick to the head of champion as he struggle to get to a knee.

[b]3rd Match
Spanky vs. Sarah Star(If Sarah loses she will never get a one on one shot against the women’s champion for the title)[/b]

Match:

The match began with Sarah getting the advantage over Spanky, forcing her to escape to the outside, Sarah followed, and was lured into having her head slammed into the baracade, barely making it back into the ring before the 10 count.
Elizabeth stood at ringside, anticipating to see if the former champ would be getting another shot at her title.

As both women took the fight to the outside, the champion saw an opening and slide behind the referee and knocked him down with a bulldog.
This allowed Spanky to get in a cheap shot, followed by a chair to the back by Elizabeth. As the referee revived Elizabeth snuck away out of sight as Sarah started to fight her way back, but as Sarah turned her attention to the champion on the outside she was rolled up by Spanky and was pinned for a 3 count!

After the match Spanky and Elizabeth celebrated in the ring as Sarah limped to the locker holding onto her lower back.


[b]4th Match
New York Nicks© vs. The Goth Boyz – non-title[/b]

Match:

The champions started out the match slowly, not knowing the new comers styles or skills. Soon each member of a team began to wear down a member of the other, with the NYN getting the advantage after a double DDT. Griffith soon hit a running power slam while Wes took down Ca$h with a reverse side effect.

All 4 members then found there way to the outside, where Griffith showed his smash mouth style ramming the face of Taven into the ring steps repeatedly.
Wes and Ca$h took their battle back into the ring where Wes managed to roll up his opponent into a pin 1….2…. kick out!

Griffith saw this then quickly returned to the ring, hitting a huge spear on Taven, Wes then grabbed Griffith in a grabble and as they struggled Ca$h went for the pin on the still fallen Taven 1….2…. kick out!

Late in the match the champions showed why they were the champs, double teaming their opponents one at a time, before Griffith locked in a elevated single leg crap onto Wes while Ca$h took down Taven with a striking combo and a clothesline, Wes had no choice but to tap out!

WINNERS: New York Nicks! via submission

After the match the exhausted champions celebrated while heading to the back as Taven helped Wes to the back on his injured leg.

Cassidy Reede then appeared on the big screen announcing that there would be not one but 2 battle royals tonight! Both winners would then face in a match later, the winner being the NEW Future Icon Champion!

T.V Championship Match
Blade Myers© vs. Unknown Man – Last Man Standing[/b]

Match:

The match began with both men trying to gain advantage by out grappling each other. Blade took control whipping Unknown Man into the corner, but as he charged Unknown moved and then tossed Blade to the outside.
Unknown followed, slamming Blades arm into the ring post, before Blade countered and slammed Unknown into the post himself.

The action then made its way back into the ring where Unknown took control with some hard strikes to the champions head. Blade slid to the outside to gain a breather but the challenger followed, running at the champion who then tossed the challenger onto the flooring on the outside.

Late in the match when the action had returned to the ring, Blade fought back with a stiff kick to the head, Unknown barely making it to his feet by the count of 8.
Unknown fought back slamming the champion’s body onto the concrete floor, Blade managing to get up by the count of 9.
Unknown knocked down the champion with a shove, but as he raised him to his feet he countered with a blow to the stomach followed by quick back and neckbreaker combo knocking him out for the 10 count!

Finals for the Future Icon Championship
Ladder Match
A.W vs. Eric Bradley[/b]

Match:

A.W began the match with a grapple exchange, but was soon taken down by a clothesline. A.W whipped Bradley into the corner, then delivering a big boot to the face, followed by a back breaker.
A.W went for another grapple, but was countered into a DDT, followed by a triple power bomb!
Bradley helped A.W to his feet, but was quickly scooped into a torture rack. Bradley dropped out the back and delivered a clothesline to the back.

Late in the match after a ladder was brought into the ring by A.W, both men began fighting on the top in a slug fest, then out of nowhere A.W hit a superplex off the ladder! A.W then continued to climb to the top, but instead of going for the belt, dove off dropping an elbow into the heart of Bradley!

Soon after Bradley took down the former champion with a Bradley slam, and looked set to grab the title, but then a mysterious monster ran from the back, covered in british colors, knocking Bradley off the ladder then hitting him with a huge dominator as A.W climbed the ladder and retrieved the title

After the match A.W celebrated his title win as the mysterious man who helped him headed to the back, Bradley still knocked out in the ring.


[b]MAIN EVENT
Undisputed Championship Cage Match
Kunk© vs. Dementor[/b]

Match:

The match began with both participants staring each other down, then as Dementor ran towards the champion, Kunk spat a green mist into the eyes of the challenger, then delivered a huge running spear!

As Dementor held onto his ribs Kunk went for the cover, getting a near fall Dementor kicking out at 2 and a half. As the challenger got to his feet, Kunk quickly swept him up and gave him a running power slam into the corner, followed by a Stunner!
Kunk made the cover 1…….2…. kick out!
Kunk looks stunned, Dementor refusing to go down without a fight!
Kunk then helped the challenger to his feet, but Dementor got a strike into the rips of the champion and followed it up with swinging neckbreaker.

Dementor then quickly hit the Blood Lust giving him a chance to catch his breath.
Kunk soon returned to his feet hitting another spear to the injured ribs of Dementor, standing back to watch him roll around in pain.

Dementor then got to his feet, and shopped the champion in the face, before whipping him into the corner, following it up with a superplex.
Dementor then began to crawl to the cage door, but Kunk managed to grab his ankle, and drag him bag in the ring, saving him from suffering his first defeat, and the lose of his title!

Kunk realising he had almost lost his title, then went for a vicious clothesline, Dementor ducking it, but then was hit with a german supplex.
Dementor got to his feet in the corner, narrowly missing a spear in the corner. Dementor then followed it up with a knee to the head, as he went to grab Kunk’s feet the champion responded with a low blow! He then got to his feet and delivered a hellacious clothesline from hell! He went for the cover but Dementor’s arm was on the rope!
Kunk stood back waiting for Dementor to get to his feet before delivering another clothesline from hell! Making sure Dementor was no where near the ropes.
1…….2……3

After the match Kunk celebrated his narrow win and headed to the back as medics checked on Dementor and his shoulder.
