RVF
Come on you England >.> I'd be amazed if we lost to anyone but South Africa in our group. Even if we did beat a weak Wales side, we did get completely mauled by the French so I can see us making the Semi's depending on who we get in the quarter finals. Pool C and D are the only ones without 2 obvious winners and even then it only goes to 3 potential qualifiers.
Mr. MITB
England should walk that group apart from against South Africa
.DUB
Yeah, most of the groups are pretty easy to pick out the qualifiers. A - England and South Africa. B - Australia and Wales. C - New Zealand and Scotland just beat out Italy. Group D is the hardest one to pick. Argentina are the strongest team besides the first 2 Groups of seeds. How come we always get Argentina in the World Cup? We beat them by about 2 points or something to qualify for the quarters in World Cup 03 and they knocked us out in 99. France will definitely qualify, and I hope and think Ireland will too. New Zealand and Portugal should be interesting too.
RVF
Heh, New Zealand will be in triple figures against Portugal and Romania. Or they'll just let some of their second choice guys get a run out and just win by about 80 points.
Kenton
is Rugby like Football.........com'n USA
.DUB
Yeah, rugby is like American Football. American Football, was actually based on Rugby when it was created. Except there's no forward passing, tackling without the ball, helmets, or any of that stuff. It's a faster more free flowing sport then American Football. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rugby_union That'll tell you what you need to know. And I really wouldn't be surprised for New Zealand to run triple figures by Portugal. In the last World Cup Australia ran 142 points against Namibia's 0. And New Zealand are better then Australia and Portugal are worse then Namibia, so...
RVF
Does anyone think that New Zealand can be stopped? I guess you can say either France are one of the options seeing as they are on home territory, but have New Zealand lost a game this year?
Ewok_3000
Well I reckon New Zealand will do good again (like last time), but I have a feeling that they'll fall short again And I knew you were gonna make this topic, Dublin
.DUB
lol, I had to make the topic. France or New Zealand will definitley win. New Zealand always go into the World Cup the strongest, but they've lost it a good few times. But this time, they've got a really strong squad in every aspect, even subs. .DUB
First match in an hour, thought I'd revive it. I actually typed up a thing of "Players to Watch" from the first 2 seeds but Mozilla went all boogey and it wouldn't let me switch back to that tab. >_> I'll type out the players again soon but I couldn't be bothered with the reasoning for a while after putting the work into it before. .DUB
Argentina are playing amazing! Felipe Contepomi is playing out of his skin, Hernandez is controlling the game excellently and Pichot is just a class act. David Skrella and Remy Martin are having crap games, Damien Traille is the only the one who looks likely to produce anything for France. Great opening game, Argentina are proving everyone wrong. 17 - 9 at half time.
RVF
Ireland have just as tough task as France to qualify in my opinion, Argentina are proving themselves to be dark horses, and could definitely beat Ireland and most the other second level teams. Wasn't the best match, but when Argentina messed up the final penalty it was pretty dramatic.
.DUB
You're right, its gonna be really hard for us to qualify. I think Argentina could top the group leaving an Ireland/France showdown. It really depends on if Ireland show up. I'll update the table again later, I forgot France lost by 8 or less points so they shoulda got a Bonus Point. But I'm going out today to watch some of the matches and stuff so I'll do it when I get back.

.DUB
Yeah, New Zealand hammered Italy in a boring match. Just a NZ showcase. 76-14. Australia did one better beating Jaoan 91-3. England are winning 13-3 as far as I can remember, England aren't playing to their full ability though.
