[u]How to do Xbox 360 Saves.[/u]

You know that whole thing about recovering xbox live profiles (ie gamertags) well thats the way.

Ok so you go to hotmail.com and make a account (use false information since you wont use it for personal use but save the information somewhere).
Next you make an xbox live account using the hotmail account you just made (make that the save name e.g:ecwrosterby__<-intials here).
Now make all the caws you want (ie the save itself) once your done with the save
go to the profile where it is at (with a save device) and grab your saved game information.
And you are done you will just need to post the name of the gamertag, the email account you used, the password and the save

Now for the other people to use the save heres what they do
first go to recover gamertag put in the name of the gamertag (ex:ecwrosterby__)
then it will ask for the email and password insert them once it finishes downloading the profile
just go grab your save device and copy the save you downloaded it into that profile
when you start up your 360 and go to that profile the save will load an wala your done.

Maybe Wolf will stick around next year because of saves

Well its abit late for this year but if saves do work like this for next game maybe more improved, then even I will also make a few caws next game. Yep do hope Wolfie also makes the odd caw now next year now saves do work

Since I am a novice dont it cost extra for Xbox Live or is it linked with your own broadband connection. Also is it any save device for Xbox 360 or one in particular

To begin with, your 360 has 3 free trials for Xbox Live, each lasting a month, so you don't have to pay for those trials to begin with, but afterwards you do.

I cant get my X-Box Live to work. Will there be people to type forms and Destruktor will you be making a save?


Now for the other people to use the save heres what they dofirst go to recover gamertag put in the name of the gamertag (ex:ecwrosterby__)then it will ask for the email and password insert them once it finishes downloading the profilejust go grab your save device and copy the save you downloaded it into that profilewhen you start up your 360 and go to that profile the save will load an wala your done.

to use the save you dont need gold <_< people are getting confused you just need to connect to live and recover the gamertag

Dunno, my bedroom and my computer room are to far away fo the cable, and I dont know what a modem is ?

both you recover the tag then you use the save device to put the save in that profile i think the xsata might work to as they are from the same company


a modem is a little box that turns on your internet <_<
ah and theres no other tv near the internet ?(is it a cable line or a Ethernet line ,ethernet looks like a big phone line)

It's pretty much laid out step by step, I'm not sure how you could be lost.

For those confused about Live, you're signing up for a free XBox Live Silver account, pretty sure you're not going to need Live Gold (paid) to do this. All you need is a broadband connection. There's plenty of online documentation (including on xbox.com) to help you get an account up and rolling.

You're recovering a gamer profile onto your 360. You can also find out more info on how to do this on xbox.com. Worst case scenario, google it. Then, you're putting the save onto your 360 under that profile.

This won't work like a normal save. It's going to work in the respect that you'll have the save with the caws, but you're not going to be able to copy the caws from the save you download to whatever save you use as your "default" save, as I'm pretty sure you can't copy caws between gamer profiles. Additionally, if the caws on the save you receive use any designs/logos/alphabet layers (those pesky "no online" caws), you're not going to be able to transfer them anywhere, so you're going to have to use the save that they come on to use these caws.

just like ps2 it [b]depends[/b] on if the one who made the save beat the game

is there anyways people can start saving them in .z36 files? thats the only way that i know of that i can transfer stuff via the Datel Transfer kit. unless someone else has a way, please by all means let me know.
