  1. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas | PS4

Been a long, long long, long...time since I last played. The driving, oh lordy, it's *censored*ing horrible. Love the game, but if I keep playing more than an hour any given time? I'm likely to bang my head against a brick *censored*ing wall. But ... can't resist man, it's my favourite (well 2nd favourite as Vice City is my all time favourite) in the GTA Series.

  2. @TheTRIsetMaster908 Bethesda can shove Fallout 1st up their ass. Locking things behind a paywall is NOT acceptable in any game. Plus, that NCR Ranger outfit isn't the right design anyway lol.

Anyway, moving on. Still playing FONV, but also playing Fallout 4 on XB1. Trying out the Calamity Weathers mods, along with the Vivid All In One mod. So far? Loving it. Wanted to include the Sim Settlement mod, but not enough space for it dammit.

  3. Fallout: New Vegas

Got the urge to play it for the millionth time. Role-playing as a retired gunslinger (Jake), brought out of retirement after that weasel Benny shot him in the head! But, Jake's memory is rather ... well ... he's a lamb chop short of a mixed grill, but he never forget's an asshole.

Looking forward to getting into the character, I've prepared a few days for this. First time I've planned ahead for a character for FONV.

^^ I genuinely liked Saints Row more before it went off the rails. When it was a GTA clone and tried to take its self seriously, I enjoyed that more than the utter nonsense that it ended up being. Granted, I still think those absurd SR games are fine...I just wish that was a different franchise altogether. 1 and 2 were very fun to me (despite their bugs and flaws). 3 and 4 lost a lot of what I enjoyed.

SR3 was good imo, but the 4th? Ehh, that one was just way OTT (which was what the devs intended, just not what I wanted).

  5.

Progessing well in Metro Exodus...however, I absolutely HATE spiders! Good thing the mutated sumbitches die by light!

I played this for about 25 or 30 minutes on game pass, but, I couldn't really get into it at all.

I've had similar experiences with the other Metro games...where I really want to like them, but just can't seem to do it for some reason. I mean...the game looks great. The visuals are great. But I didn't like all the slow-paced hand-holding in the beginning. And then I kinda wanted to have this exploratory quest-session, and I got thrown into a sneaking segment instead (I hate sneaking segments with a passion). And...yeah, that was about it for me. I lost the will to play it. It felt too segmented and too linear. I thought it would be more open, like Fallout...and I guess that's my fault.

When it comes to sneaking games? I usually despise them with each fibre of my being. However...Metro Exodus has converted me to love sneaking. I love Metro Exodus though. Despite that it isn't fully open world. The crafting system is great, having to clean the guns and gas mask to get their full effect for immersion.

Anyway... I've finished my blind playthrough (finally) and umm....well....I got the bad ending. I may have been a little bit trigger happy, and slaughtered innocent slaves. Started New Game +, gonna do the good ending. Then I'll begin the DLC.

  6. Fallout 4 | XB1

Doing a 'no perk' playthrough on very hard difficulty. Only thing I'm putting perk points into are the SPECIAL stats. Other than that? Gen Ereck is useless at everything. Yes he is. So far, I've made it to Concord. So yeah, defeating the Deathclaw should be fun!

  7. Started a new FONV playthrough last year, and today I umm...well, is there a bottlecap limit on the XB360 version? I have like 150,000+ caps and everytime I go to traders to get ammo? Game crashes everytime I exit the *censored*ing trade menu. I put in a lot of weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds to get those caps goddammit!

  8. Stevie G's reaction may have been OTT, but beating Celtic in their own back yard for the first time in 9 years meant a lot to us Gers fans. We just need to keep the pressure on 'em, and hopefully win the League Title!
