  1. For anyone like me that hates the constant kicking out after hitting ai with a finisher, there’s sliders for that. I don’t know if I missed it before or it was recently added but makes the match a bit more realistic to finish most matches after a finisher.
  2. Wow you are completely correct lol. I forgot how stupid I felt getting 2k20 deluxe for that fantasy bullshit they gave us.
  3. The fact that the dudes from pats show are in the game tells me there’s someone at 2k that’s a fan of pats show and wants to have that moment to wow them smh. If this is true it’s really the worst dlc ever. Even free it would be stupid.
  4. Yes. I tried my first super finisher after 1 finisher and still got a kick out as well. Pin and submission needs updating. A person rated 70 shouldn’t be kicking out of a regular finisher or if they do it should be rare (for ai) or difficult (for a person playing) to kick out. I find I get wins more off regular moves at times
  5. Custom image material is something they could patch into these games. It can’t be that hard since it’s already in create a belt but I’m sure it won’t happen. I also agree with you guys in opponents staying down. The gameplay at times feels like watching aew where nobody wants to sell and every lower tier wrestler is popping up from your moves and kicking out of at least 1 finisher.
  6. The punching mini game is good stuff. Makes me think the chain wrestling we been requesting is coming back better to the series. I like how all the arenas do the lighting to reflect real life so well this year. The only one that looks off is nitro unless I’m forgetting an era where they had the crowd lighting in blue.
  7. The Jey Uso update is hilarious. They have fans all out of sync and some of them bowing down. I hate so many little things that are wrong go untouched. Like the caws custom images not picking up clothing material.. which isn’t bad if we could pick the material for them and logos not properly going down legs.
  8. One of the weirdest little things the ai does (also in 2k23) is if you are rolling out of the ring it’ll most times start leaving the ring before you. Doesn’t sound too bad until it just keeps happening.
  9. Lol generic in create a video is literally the color scheme of dynamite.
  10. Tested out face paint removing on a Jeff hardy caw. It actually works unlike claims in past games.
  11. Yes. Overhaul in terms of how they see overhauls meaning reworking stuff to where the game feels different. A complete overhaul from them would be a disaster. I think they could accomplish it but they keep leaving the boxing, stances, grappling stuff since they don’t see enough care from most fans about it.
  12. I’m hoping next year they finally give this game an overhaul with gameplay and get rid of the elements that don’t mesh with how wrestling works. I try to understand how people like the non-wrestling changes implemented in 2k22 and what I can think is the game is definitely more competitive which can be more fun but I think they could accomplish bringing more stimulation to the game and keeping it fun if they really want.
  13. In my mind the cycle of this series is temporarily in March to eventually go back to October. Seeing DLC for November is a good way to show me that’s not happening any time soon
  14. One move I wish they updated is the top rope drop kick used by Daniel Bryan. They somehow messed up this animation a few years ago and it has stayed in the game all awkward looking.
  15. I think I will enjoy this game. 2k23 grew on me and this looks like a good step up. I really hope they revamp gameplay for 2k25 since the boxing influenced blocking, fighting stance and grappling before every move is such a step in the wrong direction. I will say combos grew on me this year since while many look dumb, some flow smoothly like something you’d see in a match.

  17. I thought thq promo was good. Maybe it’s since I was younger for it but they had me hype for the games even though most of them didn’t live up to expectations. Last time I remember 2k hyped the game more heavy was 2k16 which was really when they started making the series good.
  18. I don’t remember the what happened in svr2011 but yeah the series has been far from perfect. I do always remember that Cory used to bs people a lot and I’m sure Brian did too but I always appreciated his passion for the series and getting features in (create an arena comes to mind). I hope to see more people in the future passionate about shit only wrestling fans understand work on the series to make it better. You’d think with what a nerdy mesh wrestling and video games are they’d have more expert people in this series lol.
  19. Just a thought. It’s crazy how much Brian Williams is important to this series. The year he wasn’t part of the game the series lost a lot of wrestling psychology. Since svr he’s always been the guy trying to bring stuff fans like or adding those little things fan appreciate.
  20. Seeing a lot of comments mad at Ali being in the game saying it takes a slot for (insert wrestler name) who could be there. I’m pretty sure it makes no difference to whoever they add because they included Muhammad Ali. He’s there like any celeb they’ve add for casual appeal of the game.
  21. Smallest detail I’ve been wanting that shouldn’t be that hard to implement is being able to make a custom logo a custom tron straight from create an entrance (to avoid tedious create a video process).
  22. Yeah. Being able to turn it down definitely made a big difference. I did the same for dodging since it also looks but left it a bit since it happens every while (just not how most those animations play out).
  23. Yes. That’s my #1 reason why I want blocking out. Running moves being shielded by blocking kills the game fluidity.
  24. I like these new features they’re bringing and bringing back but I really hope they do something about grapple for moves in the future. It was part of the series for so long but bringing it back was a terrible idea. I get it’s a way to seperate weak and strong moves with the control scheme but it makes the game lose so much smoothness. That, the stances and blocking (even though I think I’m alone on that but they could always make it better)
