  1. I thought "Sin Cara" was copyrighted by WWE? They all are under the clause of 90-day. I hope he got the go ahead of WWE.
  2. I obviously posted so you can see that they made it publicly know that those 2 are in charge of RAW and SD and what their duties are, and that's why I posted and UPDATE in which it said that one of them is gone and that a new guy came. Are you serious? If it's throaway than it's not a nuanced little thing that can make a difference. I was going to make a point on why it is staled in this day and age of mixing kayfabe with reality on WWE programming, but I don't think it would do anything at this point. So, fine. You were right. I couldn't do it. It just can't be done. This is the best I could have come up with (sorry for my bad formatting and lack of style). You've proved your point. Ricochet comes out demanding a title match, then jumps around the ring frantically, dives out the ring and comes back in. Then does a flip over the ropes the each side of the ring, until we hear Sheam---, I mean Drews pipes. He gets to the ring and beats his slightly hairy chest shouting how he also wants a US title shot while Ricochet is smiling at him for no reason. Then we hear the voices and Randy Orton walks 15 minutes down the ramp, everybody looks at him confused while he finally gets to the ring, and before he states his mind after another 5 minutes, out comes Andrade with Zelina Vega. They get to the ring and Zelina Vega talks how Andrrraddde should face Rey Mysterio for the US title, because he beat all other latinos on RAW and he can't fight anybody else. And out comes the the champion of United States to clear things up with his homie. He yells out from top of the ramp: "YOU WANT SOME COME GET SOME". We cut to the commercials. We see the action in the ring and we wait for the announcers to clarify this perplexing and convoluted set of affairs. The announcers make a statement: "And we are back, as you can see, these four men in the ring, right now, at this very moment, are competing for the for a shot at the United States championship, the match was made by our beloved Chief in Charge, and absolutely only person that is in charge of Monday Night Raw, our de facto Great Leader former WWE champion Jinder Mahal"
  3. https://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/article/paul-heyman-eric-bischoff-executive-directors-raw-smackdown-live and here is an update: https://www.wwe.com/article/bruce-prichard-executive-director-smackdown "It's a new day, yes it is!" I don't get how is it so hard to grasp that they wanted to do away with a staled mechanic. Like I've said, all you are saying can be scripted better. Guys are arguing, obviously they want to fight. Ref is out. Boom. Magic. There is a match. Except it is not magic because people told him to go out and decided that there will be a match. In reality, Vince/Heyman/Pritchard/Writters etc....In kayfabe Heyman/Pritchard. Sure they can do it on commentary, except they don't mention them, like they don't mention a lot of things. So, maybe it's a problem of announcing? Or scripts and nuances how do you do the show? And not the lack of characters in itself. this is literally one of the rare examples when they do not dumb it down and expect you to know a few things. And if it's throwaway, then it doesn't really "go a long way". EDIT: and you wanting me to script a potential RAW segment, and me refusing it to do it in an argument with you, means only that I refuse to. And it wouldn't prove anything. Even if "I can't do it", doesn't mean that people who are paid to do it and have a stake in that "can't do it". I don't know why you have to be so ridiculous.
  4. Wtf? No. Again, YOU DO KNOW who is in charge, those same people would be doing that. How is that hard to understand? Except it's not a "gaping plothole". And yeah, Constable Corbin worked tremendously well, or Corporate Kane. But you are right, I'm sure Supervisor Heath Slater would work wonders for the show. I literally don't have the will and time to write a script for a hypothetical RAW segment between 4 midcarders in an argument with you. You are just running in ridiculous circles now. And next thing I'll say is that just because you want to see something doesn't mean that it would improve the quality of the show and that the show needs it.
  5. Same people do, that's kinda obvious. I decipeted on "why not". And just because something has been done for 20 years, doesn't mean that you need something equally dumb. That segment you keep reffering to constantly could have been easily be fixed with better script or setup. Doesn't mean it needs another character. There are a lot of factors you are not taking into account here. So yeah, if you wish to see it, fine, but those two shows do not "need it".
  6. Kevin Dunn is a director/producer, not a booker nor a writter. He could easily even be mentioned on the show and it would have no impact on Kayfabe. Because if you hear and talk every day how RAW and SD is overproduced and you have a certain number of writters that book matches, write promos... than it has little to none impact on Kayfabe if Angle or Paige come out screaming how we are going to have a match "RIGHT NOW" and everybody goes yay. I also think that when four guys get in the ring, you already know what's hapoening. A boring segment and a tag team match or fatal f way, depending on the situation. In this case, I have zero problem on them agreeing to have a match, or cut to commercials and then announce that the match was set. They got a ref, he got contacted by the showrunner, Vince, Steph or whoever and that's it. Again, you already know who runs it.There is no need to mention it every single time. Also, a lowcarder like Slater or Titus would be dumb. A random person suddenly works in management? Having a random person just announcing matches wouldn't improve the show. In fact it could only get more tedious. Leave that time for wrestlers.
  7. Your first sentence is fannon, your second sentence isn't true in the slightest and everything after contradicts it. There is no mention or sight of anyone being in charge or making the big decisions, which means when the time arrises for one to be made, it's up to the wrestlers to play matchmaker, which isn't how it should be. They don't to be there every week, just enough to know they are in charge.Have no idea what "fannon" is, but it doesn't sound positive. And I don't see how saying that an authority figure on screen is a dated concept "isn't true in the slightest". And the third sentence, involving Regal, saying how him as good balance between a conecept that I find dated and what you are saying. And it doesn't contradict my first point, on fact it even acknowledges yours. Creep explained it pretty well. edit: and why would you even take 5-10 mins for having Angle or whoever confirming matches left and right, when that time could be allocated better to other talent? Those are super boring especially when in todays age you know full and well how and who bookes matches. That's why it's dated.
  8. because you know that "The Authority" makes the matches, they are just not on screen. An on screen authority figure is a dated concept. Regal is a good balance though, he is mentioned, and on screen for a brief minute hen there is some major stuff going down.
  9. True. While if you think about it, it's mainly because UE has NXT in it's grip. Because none of those faces can't even get to North American title, and some of them would really benefit of it. But I don't mind it really atm, after all this time, UE still isn't "stale", and have been on a role since getting all the gold. I'm predicting they will go downwards soon. I'm still not sure if Ciampa dethrones Cole or Dream. Ciampa maybe, than Dream takes it off of him. edit: to add to that, I wish Gargano could go to SD and go against Nakamura. I know a lot of people have soured on Nakamura, but a feud against Gargano for the IC title at Wrestlemania sounds dope to me.
  10. It was RAWed up to the max Yep. The good part is Bray being Universal champ and his stuff bring something different, the other stuff is just lackluster and boring as hell. I mean, it is RAW-ed up, in it's presentation, but the main talent that is featured have been on RAW for the longest time, so that doesn't help at all. Roman (he was on SD the last year but actually was on RAW a lot, and has been before that for the longest time), Braun, Corbin, Roode, Ziggler, Cole, Graves.... Maybe I'm wrong but it seems like for a 2 hour show, you only have stuff with Bray/Bryan and Reigns vs Corbin/Ziggler/Roode... with occasional Shorty G and Mustafa Ali. And I forgot that Nakamura is the IC champion... They had the greatest of chances to freshen up SD after a time of staleness, but they blew it. The only episode that felt right as SD was the first NXT invasion. And I don't want to take anything away from NXT in it's current for, but they will probably take some guys to SD soon... like Keith Lee for example. They need fresh faces so bad. And NXT will need to freshen up soon anyway when the whole Ciampa/Lee and others vs UE is over. I think Keith Lee and Riddle would be great additions to SD. Even Garganno...

Primo lmao They should also include the substance in question in the official statement.
  12. All I know is if I see Zack Ryder on AEW I would turn it off immediately or skip it, like I do with WWE.

Creep said it well in his last two posts that were on topic. He had possibly legit gripes (I'm saying possibly, because at this point it's not really clear what happened with that shirt situation, and even though that was probably the trigger, I'm sure he had problems with the gimmick itself) And people listened to him. Then it got a bit weird with his outcry and you could notice it. Then he started to defame people. And his childish and erratic behaviour continued. When people are saying that he needs help is not because they want to label him as "crazy" and thats that. But because he is clearly damaging to first and foremost himself. And you can't expect that people will take you seriously with the way he is behaving. And he is also doing disservice to the fight he is trying to fight, because what he is trying to point out, falls in the water ultimately.
  14. Figure 8 in particular? Or Figure 4 in general? How so?
  15. Because the more he was into his career the more you could see how good can he be in the ring. He is athletic, and a decent storyteller. Maybe he would be a good comparison to Sheamus. When they have a chance to put out a match, they will put out a match. And what LEGION said, he has a personality that can translate well, and in comedic roles he has a good knack for it and good timing. Now that I've said it, I think you can draw out more comparisons with Sheamus. I think they both have those traits that I've mentioned. On that note, I remember Sheamus being the most boring when he had that WHC reign. Bad scripts and jokes, and lackluster booking. He was very confined in a specific role. Or like the time when he was in that feud with Reigns as part of League of Nations or whatever. He did his job, but the story overall sucked and that stable sucked since it was made to get Reigns over. The Bar was one of the major highlights of his career. He was again more likeable and he had fun, and that translated on the screen. Though, every team that Cesaro touches is his partners highlight of their career lol The point is, when they are not so confined to very specific roles, they can be fun. And I don't think it's really fair to say: "well the chant was more over than him". I mean you can say that for a lot of chants if you wish, but they are intertwined, and you couldn't have one without the other.
  16. Even though I'm also not a completely a fan of how they are treating The Fiend character, and the shitty merch... I'm really happy for Bray and for the succsess he is having in spite of all the tough times he had. And I'm glad he is the champ, that was the most exciting thing about when he made the announcement for HIAC. To see how they would handle a character like Bray as champ as far as challengers, feuds and tv time. And so far, they had a really good mix for that. Props to that. It's something different.

I'm not building anything by saying he should be more responsible. One minute you are saying he is not in the wrong because he is being fed false information, then you are being a dick for no reason, talking about crying or whatever, and saying he is taking that info and trying to build a story around it. And I'm arguing, how is that an ok thing? And I've presented that with recent examples. If you don't want to have that discussion that's all fine, but don't try to make it sound like I'm saying some outlandish crazy shit with childish sarcastic comments.

are you ok? wtf is your problem? Did I say he is the plague of the wrestling business? No, I didn't. I said he does a shitty job and should be more responsible with his "reporting". And fyi I can't remember ever caring much about him or his shit until that Saudi "reports". It's one thing to report rumors about about superstars returns or anything that strictly business related, and another to report how someones beloved ones might be kidnapped and held in a foreign dictatorship country, while at the same time talking about a possible major international incident. It's one thing to be wrong and pull a story, and another to continue pushing it. At least he apologized to Seth for putting out something like he did with the locker room story. And I already said my piece about this Mauro situation. You can keep that shitty condescending attitude.

Yeah... no. We covered that around the time of the Saudi thing and the supposed Seths speech to the locker room.

Tbh, Corey Graves is a dick, and has been a dick in the public eye for a while now. But *Censored* both Corey and Meltzer really. But this is shitty beyond belief. How the *Censored* does Meltzer know the context of the tweet that Graves sent out or that he didn't apologize to Mauro? And BPD is a complex thing, it's easy to just report "oh he got triggered due to a tweet by Corey Graves", but again, he doesn't think about consequences. Corey in that tweet didn't use incendiary language, didn't personally insult Mauro, nor bully him. They made it seem like those are some "shots taken at Mauro" or whatever. It's again, all just speculation, and dirt sheet bullshit. If Mauro deleted his twitter and had issues with all of it, then I'm sure putting him and the situation even more in the public eye doesn't help him at all. But to be clear, *Censored* Graves and his comments. This really. I blame both the people and the dirt sheets. Meltzer has been on a role with false stories so I don't blame WWE talent for firing back though. And I actually don't have have a problem on speculation on things that are product related, likes storyline rumors, matches and whatever. But they don't seem to grasp that they are *censored*ing with peoples lives here, and I wish that people actually realize that Meltzer is an unethical "journalist" if you actually want to call him one.
  21. Shorty G gimmick didn't get Chad Gable over. And this is not a knock to Oney, but wrestling that style now in WWE is vastly different than when Bryan did it 7-8 years ago. And there are like a dozen more differences.

this shit gets weirder and weirder
  23. man, I can totally understand for someone like, for example PAC when he wanted to leave. You have a contract, you are hot as shit, you aren't going to wrestle around the world... *Censored* you. I mean, Jorge Arias is 42 and just wants to wrestle in Mexico probably... It's not like he is some hot superstar that will go to your direct competition, no offence to him. Just leave the man be, damn. Maybe guys like that are used as an example. But they are doing even more damage.
  24. Mistico was the original Sin Cara. Now he goes by the name of Caristico, and there is a Mistico II.
  25. wonder which Mexican is next in line for Andrade now...
