I don't see why we can't give people the benefit of the doubt, until proven otherwise. Because, and keep this in mind, Lars Sullivan's worst offense at this point are homophobic comments, that he has already owned up to. Besides that we know only the absolute minimum about him, with all the reports saying he is dealing with mental problems. Based on that alone I think benefit of the doubt is the right route to go and not some middle ground between needlessly defending something or hating it. Not the same. I did not say that. I used it as an example of people being pressured into sex act by the nature of the industry they are in and that...that is something that is definitely the case in various sports to day. I'm not even going to mention Japanese wrestling dojos as an example. All you need to look at, are the olympic sports, that are always under closer inspections during the olympics, aswell as the porn industry itself. People aren't directly sold for sexual favors, sure. But the (peer) pressure is there. And pressure and mental problems usually don't go well together.

^ Yes, people do porn because of their own decision. People work as sex workers because they want to aswell. That doesn't mean that being a young bodybuilder or a female wrestler in America in the 60's didn't come with certain requirements to get started or have anything resembling success at all. People do porn because they want to. Certain jobs are just more likely to pressure force trainees into it.
