  1. This game is so much more frustrating than RDR 1 ever was. At least when it comes to completing the missions it is damn frustrating, and there is so many of them where you have to take a wagon from one place to the other. I've literally failed missions in the stupidest of ways that never in a million tries happen in a normal non-mission playthrough. For example when trying to run away from someone my horse will just trip and die and I get shot up, or I crash the wagon when I'm almost at the point I'm supposed to take it, and the most recent one setting myself on fire while trying to set the cornfields on fire. I really hate it how you have to start the mission all over, there is no midpoint saves. I think I've wasted probably a good five hours on missions that I just end up dying on.
  2. So it's locked as in we can't access it no matter what? Why would they lock it then if it's not accessible?
  3. How big is the actual map in this game lol. I can set a waypoint way, way, way south of Blackwater but I doubt in the actual game you can go that far. I haven't tried because I get killed by the Pinkertons just stepping foot on there.
  4. If you buy the disc in Australia don't you have to play it upside down?
  5. Honestly, though...I don't even want more added to this game. I'm fairly certain I could play this game every single day until GTA6 comes out, and still not see every little detail that exists. I guess most people just tear-ass through the various locales on their way to do whatever they're doing...but I really like to check every little detail of everything. Like I said before...the camera aspect is a big plus for me (even though I hate that it's limited to 96 photos). I'll go through the same area 3 or 4 times just to see it at morning, noon, evening, and night...much like I would do in the real world with my photography. I love that the world is ever-changing, and always offering new atmospheric effects. 90.4% now. Feels good to finally be into the 90's. So you dont want more of it then?
  6. No Mexico is a big L for me. At this point they should just make it DLC.
  7. Yeah I first encountered the Skinners almost immediately and one of them said he was going to kill me next time. It was so weird at first setting up my camp and then these guys slowly showing up lol. I expected that music from Deliverance to start playing.
  8. I think I've gotten like 25% in the six weeks or so I've had the game. I just basically ride around on my horse and then the O'Driscolls come out of nowhere and kill me and I just turn the game off so I don't lose some of my money. *censored*ing hate the O'Driscolls so much.
  9. But then theyd all be in poor condition.
  10. I think you can kill a bunch of fish by riding your horse up and down the river. Not sure yet but It would explain why there was a bunch of dead fish for no reason after riding through the river last night.
  11. Ill be getting up on that RDR Online life too. Gotta see if I can get to Mexico like some people say.
  12. Have no idea. Aren't they all console versions though?
  13. I swear I just waste entire hours in RDR2, and I do mean waste. I try to complete a mission and the stupidest thing happens when I'm almost done, like my horse just tripped over a rock running from the law and then when he gets up he has a limp so he cant run anymore, I end up getting some of my gang mates killed because of this and the mission is failed. That kinda shit doesn't happen at all in non-mission gameplay.
  14. Nah, I tried to reverse but it just did more damage. The wagon was "destroyed". Sucks because I happened to just find the wagon parked in the middle of nowhere and was not guarded at all, just the driver. Tried to do the mission again but this time it was parked in the usual place at the refinery guarded by like a million guys. The good thing is that after passing the first Mary Linton mission John Marston got the wagon himself lol.
  15. Red Dead 2. I was doing the mission with the stupid oil wagon, took it all the way where it needed to go, and crashed it on a giant rock like 3 feet from where I had to leave it, mission failed. That was like an hour wasted.
  16. Chasing him was tedious, now fighting him 1 on 1 is frustrating. I ran out of patience. With Shocker, I found you cannot rely on dodging alone, you gotta be actively moving and dodging at the same time, never staying in one place. also, try to stay in the air as much as possible. Yeah I think I tried that and figured it out but it just frustrated me that at some point you gotta stop moving so you can fling heavy objects at him with your web and that's when he gets you, and he gets you good. I think one hit takes off like a fourth of your life. I just got fed up and switched back to RDR2 to kill some deer, much easier than shocker.
  17. Figured it out. I think it happened when I dropped my controller.
  18. I left my game running without pausing it too long and when I came back it was in first person view and I couldn't get out of it no matter what I tried so I had to quit the game. Not sure if there is a way to toggle between first and 3rd person but I didn't like RDR as a first person shooter lol.
  19. That just reminded me of that bloody torso I found under the railroad tracks. Still not sure what all that was about.
  20. Just came across a second group of Klan guys. Again blasted the leader in the back and tossed his body next to the two other guys and then shot the kerosene canister and lit them all on fire. It's funny how they made them seem like total idiots, reminds me of Reno 911 with the KKK guys always lighting themselves up on fire.Just wish there was some grander scheme to these encounters, you don't even get a bonus or anything for killing them.
  21. Ive come across those guys twice. First time I came across a huge meeting, burning crosses and all. Killed them all. Second time I came across three of them, the leader who had black robes and two others in white. The leader was directing the other two to set up the cross, killed them all again, but shot one early enough for the cross to fall and crush them both. I'll try this next time I run across these fools. Good to know. Maybe toss some dynamite as well?
