Agree with the above, John Wick is so good. The way it does so much with so little is amazing. I was certainly thinking, "Wow, just a plot about a dog being killed and they turned it out into something this well fleshed-out (without it being corny)."

Funny enough, my pops said the exact same thing. He claimed that they could have tried out something original and creative that completely stands on its own, because while a lot of people may try not to compare it with the Ocean's series that is known and loved -- it would probably be compared by some. So just better not to try carrying on something that way and try to create a new franchise/series.

I'm just kinda curious to find out whether Rihanna acted well. Or did she not have that major of a role in the movie, compared to others in the team?

I don't think so. From what I've read and interpreted, I think the game will deeply focus on Kratos' life in the Norse world and his relationship with his son. Doesn't seem to me that there will be flashbacks to the narrative of the previous games. Maybe loose references to his impact on Olympus, but I think that'd be it. As for the reviews, what's psyching me out is that this is receiving praise over all of the other predecessors from some publications. 'Most emotional, stirring game in the series' 'Kratos is at his most well-developed' yadda, yadda. I love the crap out of God of War 1 and 2 so my expectations are pretty high now.

Anyone have any thoughts on Black Panther? I thought it was pretty great. Stellar performances from Michael B. Jordan and the female cast, for the most part (God, Angela Bassett looks good as hell at her age), and Wakanda is so vibrant and rich with detail. The score of the movie is pretty cool, too, liked seeing how Ludwig composed certain pieces for it in the Genius video (link attached). I will say, however, that the movie started really gripping me after Before that, it just seemed fairly standard and intriguing but more flashy than substantial.

Suits, Season 6. Only on episode 4, but I really like it so far.

Ugh, I remember that mission in The Ballad of Gay Tony where you had to blow up that yacht and the speedboats chasing you, I think? It was a Yusuf Amir mission.

Oh my God, how is this game? I bought it back in Jan when it came out, but haven't given myself the chance to play it yet. So psyched to as well.

Is Episode 11 the one where Punisher It was either episode 10 or 11, I can't remember exactly... but yeah... that scene... haha Season 2 had a bunch of those awesome fight scenes, genuinely very well done and a pleasure to watch. The Netflix shows are probably Marvel's best cinematic things so far. Anyone else a fan of Community? I love Community, but haven't finished it all. My favourite episode has to be Contemporary American Poultry. Abed becoming the Don Corleone with his chicken finger recipe was awesome.

I just started watching Freaks and Geeks a few days ago! Only on the second episode, but I was surprised to find so many people I know off of it. What do you mean, single seasoned? As in only one season out of a TV show is good, or pick a season that really stood outttt? Or cancelled shows with only a season to it?

ICO Awfully late on seeing this, but yeah, I remember buying an early FF game but a few minutes into it, the control system turned me off entirely. Admittedly, I was young and had impatience. I also went into the game expecting something more simplistic. I wish I stuck with it though.

Awesome! I'm pretty much the opposite. The last Spider-Man games I've ever played were the Raimi Spider-Man ones and my thoughts are exactly in line with yours. The first (while you had to stay above ground...waaay above ground, that is) was seriously good, whereas the second fixed the biggest issue but felt bland through repetition. I hope there are little side-missions, too, like being able to complete pizza deliveries as Peter Parker.

If they had the Civil War costume in the game, I wouldn't mind at all. Idk what it is, but it's grown on me a lot. Yup! The Spider Man 2 that'll hopefully be everything the original wasn't.

I think that choice was made because this is a more toned-down, fatherly Kratos. The Greek mythology Kratos had a hellish anger in him.
