  1. So as I understand it, Ospreay has said he has no intention of actually leaving or splitting up the United Empire despite signing with AEW. I wonder if this means he's going to be more of a part timer in his own faction, if the rest of the group is going to appear more in AEW/The west, or if there's plans to expand the faction much like Bullet Club and LIJ have in the past.

Regarding the whole Khan/Punk thing, while I maintain that the vast majority of the blame falls squarely on Punk, I cannot deny that TK was an enabler who should've shut that shit down the second it started at the media scrum. He was being a mark when he should've been a boss.

My peak post may have been lucky-guessing that The Fiend was gonna be the preorder for 2K20. Shame such a cool moment in time was wasted on such a bad game.

The worst part to me is that underneath all of the awful for 2K20, there was a good game struggling to come out. If you fixed all of the bugs and weird animation issues, I think 2K20 would've been a great successor to 2K19.

You mean like how the outlines of parts that were using the Leather material don't have that Rainbow material effect anymore? I'll have to check that out, if it's fixed I'm glad they squashed that.

    **EDIT**

I looked and I can still see that glitch happening. I have a CAW with Randy Orton's boots in leather and the eyelets are rainbow looking. I even went into CAW Mode to resave and you can even see it in the Creation Suite.

nah its a similar but different glitch. It was causing material like leather and glitter to have a rainbow-esh sheen over it when the lighting interacted with it. Imagine the outline you're mentioning but it happened all over the texture.

  4. Of all the things to fix, the most recent patch appears to have fixed the weird blue colouring when using certain materials. Im not complaining that that's been fixed of course, just.. odd priority.

I guess fixing Superkick 4 or running inside springboard finisher distance will just be in WWE 2K24.

Didn't quite a few people not like the wheel submission tho? Or am I misremembering it.

This is the WWE games fanbase. There is ALWAYS something quite a few people dislike (me included). Like i said, make it optional if you must, but give it back and stop forcing me to button mash.

Also as per usual, *Censored* MyFaction and *Censored* 2K for forcing that shit.

Did the patch actually FIX anything? Is friggin Superkick 4 still busted?

  6. I still really want them to bring back the wheel submission system, at least as an option (if we can have multiple pin systems i don't see why this is a problem); especially since a lot of the older submission move animations REALLY do not work well with the current system. For example, take a look at Drew Gulaks dragon sleepers, the transition in animation as you move towards the tap out side is ridiculously jarring.

    2 things I want in wwe2k24 are:

    No more 1000 logo limit

    More than 100 caw slots

I just want the simulation aspects back. The old grapple system, tie ups, stamina that actually matters and has an effect (if turned on, make it optional). Take the best of 2k23 and combine it with the best of 2k19.

  8. The site itself was also incredibly stagnant for a long while, we had the same layout for years that desperately needed updating and by the time it did get updated, it was too late. Doesn't help that in some ways in my personal opinion the updated layout and skin were a step down.

  9. I'm playing on pc, no mods yet as I like to do my first playthrough modless.

There are bugs but they're mostly small nothing issues. There are two bugs though that are an actual problem. One being doors and elevators just.. stop working. Another is a specific main quest reset all player homes and anything stored inside them are lost.

    Also performance is.. an issue.

I  enjoyed 2K22 and love 2K23 while already looking forward to 2K24 but I get why some don't like them and it's ok. Shouldn't apologize for it because at least you gave it a chance.

I don't have issues with people not liking these games but get annoyed when they hyperbole to the max and just keep ranting over and over all the time and I'm not saying you are but how people can be online

To be fair, every time i rant about the game, I legitimately have just encountered in-game whatever has caused me to rant. I may be a bit over the top, but the reasons for my dislike and the problems I have with the game are absolutely well thought out on a personal level. If I wanted to, I could sit down and make a huge post about everything I see wrong with the game both on a large scale and down to the small things; but to be frank doing so without copious amounts of saying *Censored* would probably reach some kind of character limit, lol.

  11. I didn't pay for my copy but I still have too many issues with it to say its worth it; but again thats just me. I know some people dislike how vehemently I dislike a lot of aspects of the last two games, and im not going to make any apologies for that, I stick by my opinion; but i don't begrudge anyone else if they enjoy the game. Well, as long as they aren't snapping at me for not doing so.

CM Punk's aew contract has been terminalen - free agent..

Are we looking at the pre order wrestler that @ANTI- predicted a long time ago?

It's possible but I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you, Trips likely still hates the guy and he's not exactly coming out of this whole thing without heat at the moment. It wouldn't surprise me that if he is WWEGames bound, they'll wait a year at the least.

  13. I play 2K23 out of obligation more than anything. I haven't been shy about my dislike of the gameplay changes and limitations, and I certainly won't deny that if we could backport a lot of content to 2k19 I wouldn't even be touching 23, but at least at the end of its patch cycle it's in a better place than 2k22 was.

Part of me worries that we're slipping back into the old THQism of "new shiny thing, small stuff doesn't get fixed" though. There's a ton of small changes they could make that I feel would make the game drastically better that I'm worried will just get ignored. Even ignoring for a moment the entire gameplay loop, small things like adjusting springboard finisher distance or an overall get up speed adjusting bar, or bringing back or reanimated moves that were removed for no good reason, would go a long way to making me at least able to begrudgingly tolerate it.

Well, that and putting MyFaction in the dumpster where it *censored*ing belongs.
