It just looks so damn silly to me. It doesn't even match the personalities of the vast majority of the wrestlers. I understand, as much as I hate it, that getting rid of the lock up grapples will take some reworking; but this is just entirely aesthetic. I don't want it removed or anything, I just want to be able to toggle it off. And maybe give us a variety to choose from.

Seriously how friggin hard would it be to just let us toggle off the stupid ass fighting stance in the options? I do not understand why 2K is being so goddamn stubborn about this.

I am actually happy about the super finisher mechanic, its a feature i've asked for for a number of years and it sounds like it works exactly like how i envisioned it. Now lets just hope the higher difficulty modes are actually hard enough to warrant their use.

I really hope they've gone through and fixed the rest of the errors in the move animations, like the animation jank on the black mass or the slow down on the regal cutter, or the missing shake on certain moves still.

Crucially though we were able to switch them out, including for normal standing poses. We weren't forced to use them and especially weren't forced to use ones that didn't match the wrestler in question.

I consider the lock up grappling a massive negative but that, unfortunately, I was already resigned to. But that stupid ass pose.. just.. who thought it looked good? Who?

Agreed, especially since there are multiple variants of the same move hittable from different positions.
