Yeah if AEW wants another game they're really gonna need to start from scratch; possibly with a different dev; and not try the same things again. It had good ideas but man... it suffers from the less well thought out aspects.

The amount of stuff I really want to see fixed and changed in the series is too much for a single post; especially since my focus would not be on WWE related content since i've stopped watching again (you can thank Triple H being the *censored*ing worst at PR this year for that).
Suffice to say, I would want to see a lot of improvements that simply won't be done in one year and I honestly don't expect to ever be done. They've made it fairly clear where their focus is now and it's certainly not on the things that are important to me personally.
Well.. who knows. Maybe AEW will take another swing at a game sometime.. hopefully a far better one.

Some work i've done, Aiden Wolf vs Percy Parker (of the New York Hit Squad); including their themes in their entrances.
Wolf still needs a lot of moveset work, right now he's more or less just using Batistas moveset with his own signatures and finishers. Also uhhh.. wow, the AI vs AI really can't handle irish whip rebounds right now, huh.
Themes are AI generated, obviously I make no money off them and don't intend to, I just created them to have themes of my own to use for my CAWs.

TKO 2 (the one onto the top rope) is, for whatever reason, unselectable as a finisher.

So... im just now noticing that they removed transparency from facial hair all together. How long ago did they do that?

I've been using AI to make themes for my CAWs (and since I actually put some effort into them, they still sound better than *censored*in Def Rebel), though I would never sell them obviously since.. you know, AI, but for personal use it's been fun playing the game with them playing at the right time. I was thinking of recording some videos of matches using them.
The bugs are still pretty out of control though, I swear todays patch re-re-re-reintroduced the hair shine bug.. again. -
Universe mode is now generating empty matches (up to 28 on one card) that, naturally, crash the game to look at.
Also all my CAWs are at 100 hair shine. again. This makes what.. five *censored*ing times now?

I can't stand what 2K does a lot of the time these days and rightfully give them endless shit for it; but anyone going after individuals or their families is a goddamned idiot and should be shamed out of any group. Screw that noise. The guys in the trenches arent the ones making a lot of these bad decisions in the first place.

I saw those rumors as well, but it only came from files in-game and changing the aleister black entrance template to his name; I wouldn't call that a lot to go on. It could be them simply laying groundwork while working on 2K26. I would certainly like for that to be the case however.

Correction: It's not just the phoenix 630, its all diving moves that aren't splashes. That bug again, back. Save for a couple outliers, including the new moonstomp.

I can't imagine they'd want to go through the effort of animating a chain weapon just for his entrance, especially considering it's probably a one and done for Abyss in the game; probably a lot of effort if I remember certain classes I took way back in the day correctly. Can't really blame em if that's the reason.

This has started happening to this specific CAWs alternate attire since the last patch, and I cannot for the life of me figure out whats triggering it.

Can't say I know for sure; all i know is they need something else. And personally, don't go half-n-half on sim vs arcade. Pick a style and focus on it; if you want to go arcade then go full all stars, if you want to do sim then go all in and court the fans that feel turned away by the changes since 2K22.
Most importantly, do not friggin rush it and do not announce it before it's ready.
