Technically, we already have the full roster. Getting the characters through linking the games would be like DLC. Its possible that they'd release in both ways (You get the DLC free if you link the two games together or you can pay ___ for them). I'd accept DLC that is obtainable alternatively by linking the two games. In a way, it'd be the logical choice. Anyone that does get both gets free DLC as a reward. Everyone else gets to purchase them if they want.

Yeah. Thankfully, Sakurai stated early on that both versions would have the same roster, which would imply that one roster wouldn't have more characters than the other. I'm not sure why others online think it will be otherwise.

I gotta ask, how would it be screwing the 3DS players over? The Wii-U version wouldn't get the characters without connecting to the 3DS version either, yet connecting them would unlock them for both versions. The 3DS version would still have the same characters as the Wii-U version either way. If you're talking about the fact that the 3DS won't have access to the characters until the Wii-U version releases, the 3DS version may not even have the characters in their data yet. The plan may have been to give the 4 characters as a reward for connecting the versions and in an attempt to release the 3DS version sooner, they left them out altogether, allowing us to receive an update once the Wii-U version has released to receive the characters. I do like the roster though. While I'd really like to have the other 4, I'm more than content with the roster as it is.

That can only mean one thing. They're DLC (Ridley, Mewtwo, Dixie Kong, Chorus Men). EDIT: I don't think they're DLC anymore. Rumor has it that the 4 characters will be obtainable through connecting the Wii-U to the 3DS, a feature that has already been shown on the 3DS version. While this is just one guy's word and must be taken with lots of salt, I believe this to be true. Four characters would fill the entire roster on the 3DS version. It would also be a huge reason to get both versions instead of just one, which would be smart on Nintendo's part. In addition, everything excluding the inclusion of these 4 characters in the "original" leaker's post has been proven to be true right down to the small details. ------------------------------- So, who is getting Smash for 3DS on launch day? I know I am, and its not going to cost me a penny out of my wallet (thanks to a couple survey sites that I've gotten Amazon gift cards from).

While I will miss dash dancing, rolling is much quicker now and you can do moves out of it quicker as well, so wave-dashing won't be AS necessary.

Apparently, Nintendo is having a "Smash Sale" for the next few weeks to promote for Sm4sh. Select games will be on sale for up to 33% that relate to characters from the new Sm4sh games. To be honest, none of the games really look very enticing this week. Maybe we'll get some better ones next week, with Week 2's sales having Zelda and Fire Emblem characters.

Also curious who was talking at the end, haven't really seen anyone mention it either. The first main antagonist you meet at the beginning of the game. Name's Metalface. Oh okay. Darn, was hoping for "hijacked by Eggman". Thanks for clearing that up.

I'd say Palutena's and Robin's trailers were the best IMO. And slowly, all the leaks will become revealed. EDIT: Did anyone notice the name of the video? "Looks like we don't have a choice." Do you think the title has anything to do with the video leaks? EDIT2: By the way, I've never played Xenoblade before, so bare with me here; Who is that speaking at the end of the trailer? Sounded like Eggman to me.

Sorry, but you're off on this one. That could be true for everyone's graph but Lucario's. Look at Lucario's lineup. His total is 33 there. When you add his numbers, it comes up to 34.

Yes. When I saw that, I was amazed. How could someone screw up that bad? I understand overlooking a misplaced element or misaligned element (which it also has), but how do you release something with a problem that sticks out like that? I hope that guy meant for it to be a joke.

Personally, I feel like Pac-Man fits in better the way they put him in than MegaMan does. They incorporated Pac-Man with some other things of his time such as Galaga and such, making for an interesting moveset. MegaMan however doesn't make the cut for me, even though I really like MegaMan. The "feels" are subjective, and if Pac-Man and other characters are any indication, Duck Hunt will be a very interesting and fun character to use.

WOW. If thats real, then wow... Was it worth it for the 5 min of fame? I appreciate the leaks, no doubt, but I don't think they were worth the guy losing his job over if its true.

My guess is that ESRB is still checking it out. And yeah, Nintendo stated that both games would have the same character rosters, unlike the modes and stages in each which will be different. Oh, almost forgot to mention; The leaker of the full roster image stated that he didn't know if he had the full roster unlocked or not, which would explain the strange spacing of the roster shown (rows of like 10 ending with a row of 4). Those characters in the last list I posted weren't mentioned to be DLC characters, meaning they could be the characters to fill the rest of the roster. It could also be worth noting that I read somewhere that he hadn't unlocked All-Star Mode yet which would mean there were characters that he hadn't unlocked. I can't recall where I read it, so take it with a grain of salt (or more salt than other leak info).

He was in Brawl as well. I'd pay for that costume. I'm not even joking. In other news, the original leaker (the first column of leaked images) came back and said that he lied about the DLC characters he told everyone of. With that being said, this has been floating around lately; Again, I wouldn't post anything unless I thought it could be real. The reason I back this post is due to the date it was posted. Being almost a month ago, no one had any knowledge of any actual leaks at the time. That being said, no one could have ever correctly predicted the implementation of Duck Hunt Dog along with Dr. Mario, Bowser Jr, and Dark Pit (pretty much everyone knew that Shulk would be in). On top of that, it accurately stated elements of both Shulk's and Bowser Jr's movesets that have been leaked in the new videos we've seen. If thats not enough, there is one other line that catches the eye in that post; "Bowser Jr appears as a new comer and allegedly fights from a koopa clown car... has no alt colors, but instead has the 7 koopalings as alts." While this may seem iffy, we have also gotten screenshots of some trophies obtained in the game, and one in specific that has been leaked is Lemmy Koopa in a clown car, which to my knowledge we have never seen before. What do you guys think about it?

Aren't those the exact same thing? Anyways, out of the newcomers, I'll mainly use Greninja, though I'm not sure if it'll actually become my main. I'm also gonna use Palutena and Little Mac. Bowser Jr. and the mutt, I won't touch outside of unlocking stuff. Only logical reason I can think of Dr. Mario coming back is they had some extra time and figured why not. If he was a conscience decision made from the beginning, then it was a really stupid decision as far as I'm concerned. Very similar, but one has damage spread out through the sword and one doesn't. Marth does more damage at the tip of his sword while Lucina has equal damage throughout the sword. Lucina seems like she'll be the n00b's Marth. And yeah, I agree with the Dr. Mario statement completely. I'm almost certain they could've included it as an alternate costume as others have had. Why didn't they? The only reason I can think of is that they wanted to give him a Final Smash that involves the pills. I don't follow. I thought that Lucina was going to be a bad Marth, with damage being consistent throughout the blade instead of having extra at the tip?

Ikr? My bro has already told me that he's maining Duck Hunt. I think that along with Jiggs and Yoshi, I'm going to try and possibly main Bowser Jr depending on his play style. What new characters do you guys want to try most?

Wait what??!? When did Sears do this? Oh, this was earlier in the year. It wasn't really advertised, but while everyone began to think that the Wii-U was going to be a complete flop, as far as I know, Sears got spooked and started to get rid of them for $99. Could've been an error, I dunno, but it was an amazing deal.
