  1. Just target Lichtsteiner and Sokratis, you'll have a chance. Meh, with the way this season has gone, Arsenal will probably win it somewhat easily because they do that against the lower teams and then get thrashed by the top teams.
  2. and it's arsenal arsenal fc they're by far the greatest...team the world...has ever....seen?
  3. Ajax-fans in the AEK Athens-away end. A molotov cocktail got thrown in their direction and then they got charged on by the swat team for trying to throw shit back.
  4. Arsenal legit plays worse than Manchester United. We're going to get killed one day when our luck runs out.
  5. Screw it, let's call Justin Timberlake and have him bring sexy back too.
  6. Honestly, losing to Cardiff and *censored*ing Huddersfield back to back doesn't bode well for Fulham.
  7. We reached a World Cup-final and didn't qualify for 2018, I'd take the World Cup-final over Mexico's knockout round-phobia.
  8. Yeah ffs, we beat Germany, don't see us bragging about it
  9. Exactly, he knows the ethos of the club - but I fear he'd just simply try and run the Fergie playbook page for page because he hasn't had the experience in top level management to forge his own. The Fergie playbook was fine in 1992-2008, but the game has moved on since then, on and off the pitch. Also Ryan simply does not have the ruthlessness required to manage United. I watched a documentary about his brief run as caretaker, and he said himself he couldn't sleep at night when making a decision about dropping someone. Also we tried giving the job to an "up and coming" manager, and that put us on the decline we're reaping the final outcome of now. Put simply, we cannot afford a "project" or to "blood a team" any more. We're being left for dust by Liverpool and City, Arsenal and Chelsea are evolving - Spurs are a step down from being legit challengers too. We need a proven top class manager who can hit the ground running. The biggest gamble I'd take right now would be to prise Poch away from Spurs. He's the minimum level we should be looking at. Arsenal isn't evolving. We'll be relegated by 2021.
  10. Tbh, I always was a big fan of Red Bull involvement in sports. So yeah. Was hoping Red Bull Leipzig would win though.
  11. That other Mexican who got a red card 2 minutes later cared. Love what Miazga did. It's an wonderful example of mind games working out beautifully, but I've seen people say that it was disrespectful and has no place on the football-pitch. Football is not a gentleman's sport to begin with and you're supposed to disrespect your opponent. That's the enemy. More so when it's a rivalry-game between two nations.
  12. Always liked Dempsey. Top gun.
  13. Blame Kenedy for that one. Mother*censored*er cost me 200 quid with his shit penalty.
  14. I hope. Wouldn't get carried away yet though. We were top of the league last season 7 games in and we finished 13th.Yeah, I remember that, Fulham did a complete opposite, going from like 14th in December to a playoff-spot because they basically won every game.
  15. Too bad Alphonso Davies is Canadian or I might've put them down as outsiders for the World Cup 2026 when all these talents like McKennie, Weah, Carleton, Miazga, Adams, Novakovich etc. should peak, assuming they all will have very promising careers.
  16. Leeds United to the Premier League, should've put money on it ffs.
  17. Just not satisfied with how he runs Newcastle, nothing really new, same ol' complaints. I'm under the impression a lot may have been promised by him to Benitez in relation to the summer transfer window, and Ashley never lived up to them, Rondon, and the two on loan just arent enough for a manager of his caliber, but again its moreso lies on Ashley and his lack of funds he's put into the club over the past two years. I dont think Rafa got a single one of his desired targets, but thats just me guessing. Ashleys response to fan criticism and the petition that was put together basically calling for his exit were filled with half truths, and inconsistent info. I just dont foresee a good run for Newcastle this Premier league season. Looking at the opening game, you might be right. During the game, I heard them mention something about players not being paid performance-related bonuses from the previous season and that they're now boycotting the fulfillment of media obligations because of it. So it's a mess again at Newcastle apparently. Are you a Newcastle-fan? Never knew that.
  18. Don't let a Mourinho-side open the Premier League ever again.
  19. Is this really the time or the place to be having THIS discussion?
