So I guess we aren't getting the Cole-Omega match before he leaves? :(
    Gonna happen in Japan maybe

Does he have a New Japan deal like the Bucks or only a ROH contract? Anyways, I think his ROH deal only finishes up on May 1st or April 30th so there's still plenty of time to do it.

Ospreay, Dragon Lee, Volador Jr. (?) and? I mean just the other 3 in a match sounds insane but I wanna know who the 4th dude is lol.

  2.

    I was talking about "Rhodes".

No, WWE owns the name Cody Rhodes.

    That's really...Stupid.

WWE didn't invent the Rhodes name, Dusty first began using the "Dusty Rhodes" name in Texas in World Class Championship Wrestling, or WCCW. And he'd established himself as a star way before entering the WWF. His name would've inevitably been synonymous with his children anyways, even if they weren't as good wrestlers as they are today, regardless of where they went. And I've never heard anything about Dusty himself relinquishing the rights to his name to the WWE and Vince McMahon.

Thats some bitch shit right there....Sorry for getting off topic, guys.

It's not the Rhodes name, it's 'Cody Rhodes'. Brandi can still be 'Brandi Rhodes' I think, in TNA they were even announced as 'Cody and Brandi Rhodes' if I'm not mistaken. But yeah, it sucks. Kinda like the Hardys situation with Impact going on.

  3. Always wondered...since the verbiage is "non-compete"...does that mean he could show up in a non-wrestling role and then just segue into wrestling when that time is up? Kinda like what Aries did in WWE during his recovery...stay relevant, still be on television, just not compete? If so, I think he could easily show up in Japan or on Impact as someone's bodyguard or something. Unless "non-compete" actually means "not work for the competition"...

I'd say no. I mean wrestling isn't actually a competition so being on TV pretending to be a bodyguard or being on TV pretending to fight someone should be treated as the same thing, right? I don't think WWE's non-compete clauses stand up in court anyway so, whatever.

  5. Does that mean he won't be providing the English commentary for New Japan anymore?

    I'm pretty sure that's unrelated.

I've never followed ROH very closely, it never pulled me in very much, so I might be totally off on this, but the notion I get from watching from the outside in is that it's slowly losing relevance and becoming more background noise as time goes by. Is that a fair thing to say? Has business been declining for them?

  6. Something being called "2" doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a sequel. If this is about Dutch's gang then this is likely a prequel, but it is the second story of the RDR universe being told hence the 2.

Yeah, still I wish it was called Read Dead Rebirth or something, cause it looks like it's a prequel and all.

  7.

He comes off as a family man. But honesty we can't be sure. Of that was just home saving face I don't think AAA would talk to him after he screw them over but didn't he cheat and what's the reason his ex wife got a restraining order

Can we just take in the significance of this? A coherent Austin3035 post, with punctuation no less! This has to be a miracle.

Of that was just home saving face

  8. On Cody Rhodes... Not sure where to post this.

Former WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes is reportedly set to sign with TNA very soon.

Dave Meltzer says he spoke with Cody at Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's Battle of Los Angeles this past weekend, and learned Cody has a deal in place to work with both TNA and Ring of Honor, without being signed to either.
