I find it funny when some people say things like "This is the logical decision, The Rock is a legend, The Rock is the bigger star. The Rock is bigger than Cody will ever be". Well of course he's bigger than anybody else nowadays will ever be.. because they don't LET THEM be as big. I said it before and I'll say it again, if people don't know how to move on from the legends, the product will never grow. The Rock, Stone Cold, Sting, etc all had their time, now it's someone else's time. Another excuse is "Well I've been waiting even longer for the storyline of The Bloodline to finish with The Rock". THAT I can understand, to be honest, but just not at Cody's momentum's expense. Not at this poor timing..

On another note, Tiffany Stratton's moonsault is indeed pretty. I never paid too much attention to her back in NXT but I can definitely see why she's rather liked. I hope she goes far.

Triple H is disappointing me greatly. Giving priority to a retired legend rather than a young, relevant star who's got an interesting and emotional storyline going with fans invested is something I would expect out of Vince, not Paul. What was the point of giving Cody a second Rumble win? How hard it is to make Rock vs Roman at night 1 and Cody vs Roman at night 2? By the time Cody finishes his goddamn story, no one is gonna care but him. Way to remove all the excitement of the road to Wrestlemania.

The matches were ok, not mediocre, but not super amazing either. I felt like Roman barely did nothing in his match. I'm tired of Nia Jax eliminating half the competition every year. EVERY year the same song and dance with her, when there's Piper Niven which is much better than her, and Bronson Reed on the males side and barely got a single elimination. I don't understand why they keep continuously giving her so many eliminations. Happy for Bailey though, she has won it all at this point. Also disappointed that it wasn't Jey the one to eliminate Jimmy, they literally started off the Rumble for the sake of the feud yet that overrated Breakker dude throws him out? Gee, I thought Triple H knew better. Happy for what Cody has achieved though, I was expecting either for Punk to win or both to win at the same time actually, but that's fine, I'd rather have Roman drop the title already. Also both Rumbles full of modern star power, way to go! Skipped Logan vs KO though. I'm not invested in the feud and sadly I find myself to be less and less invested in KO as time goes.

I have a feeling both rumble matches will be very story-heavy when it comes to the participants and their feuds.
