  1. This wasn't it, at least in my opinion. From what I've seen from Cody, he has yet to deliver in any meaningful way since leaving WWE. But I can't deny that the crowd was really hot for him. I just don't see it, I guess. I checked this show because I haven't seen ROH in a while, and I left it thinking that I made a good choice in not watching it regularly anymore. The feeling of the product is just not for me anymore, and I can't shake away from how lackluster the overall talent is compared to years past.
  2. I would put the title on Lio Rush without hesitation. Time for ROH to do something bold, and the kid is talented. Hey, Okada got the title when no one thought he deserved it, and look at him now.
  3. It's just ROH putting the guys that can afford to job to face the NJPW stars, mostly. ROH wants their main guys to go over, NJPW wants their main guys to go over, and as a result, not many top guy vs. top guy matches, which makes me very sad.
  4. About the mystery man who will face AJ... There's a plethora of good matches that were announced, but no real dream matches to me. Joe against any of Okada, Tanahashi or Nakamura would be the closest to a dream match I have, having ROH's actual roster in consideration. And Jay Briscoe defending against Naito would be neat too. Hopefully it happens.
  5. Oh. That explains it. I either totally missed it or forgot it. Oh well. I thought Jay Lethal and Jushin Liger had a nice match, but why must Lethal use that move as a finisher? I can't suspend my disbelief enough for the handspring cutter, it just looks so stupid. I will never enjoy it.
  6. The story is kinda weird though, I must admit. I also thought that it was a homophobic comment, then I went to search and it also weirded me out a bit. Anyway, back on topic: I didn't see nobody comment on Ciampa leaving ROH, but then again, I didn't went back too far on the thread. I'm disappointed, he was one of the few talents on this actual ROH roster I could get fully behind.
  7. Am I the only one that expected a more diverse list of NJPW wrestlers for their joint show this year? I mean, don't get me wrong, I get why Nakamura, Tanahashi and Okada are there. But the list is essentially a swap of Liger for Naito, and not even a real swap since Liger was wrestling Lethal not long ago. I'm a bit underwhelmed to be honest. I wanted Goto, Ishi and/or Ibushi in it. Also, Nagata would be nice.
  8. Well. Yeah, I agree. The only match in the entire show that I feel can be considered a dream match is Steen/Nakamura, but I only think that's happening because Steen either is able to take the loss or maybe is going to WWE even. All the others? Well, NJPW put only people they feel comfortable having a loss. Liger and KUSHIDA are not winning. But I think it really isn't only NJPW's fault. ROH also protected it's main talent, mostly. Cedric Alexander? Michael Bennett? C'mon. They're midcarders at ROH. Still, I do agree. That tends to make cross promotional cards... not exactly boring, but frustrating. For instance, I feel like ROH could use a new Television Champion. Still, an ROH talent is NJPW's main champion. Of course, that's only because AJ Styles is the lone member of the roster with any real modicum of name value, and because he also struck a deal with NJPW, but still. So... It could be worse, I guess.
  9. Well... Cedric Alexander is out. Speculation is that Okada can be inserted in the IWGP title match for War of The Worlds. Personally, I think New Japan will want it's main guys winning all matches, so I guess Roderick Strong gets inserted in Okada's place, just to further his feud with Alexander since the story is that he's out due to injuries sustained by The Decade's attack at Global Wars. I guess Jado & Gedo face BJ and Jacobs, Roderick moves to face Okada. Or maybe they bring Chris Hero, who knows.
  10. I think Hero is working more selective dates only. I read in an interview that he wanted to tour a lot of promotions, so it maybe that. Or maybe because his paycheck probably increased, and ROH is running with AJ, who also has to be pretty expensive. Those are two big free agents who suddenly became available almost at the same time, and maybe ROH can't book both all the time together. I don't know, maybe they can. Just throwing it out there.
  11. maybe vs Strong,BJ or Taven? I hope it's against Ciampa or Hero.

Here you go, bro, the start of tonight's show with the Bryan promo. See for yourself.

  13. I love Mike Bennett. He's the anti-ROH wrestler. Their shows right now have been higly entertaining. But they got to have coherent storyline progressions between shows and PPVs, and not just use the show as they did in HDNet. So far, it's good. Oh, and McGuinness and Steen can't come back soon enough.
  14. I just love you.

  15. Ok, I respect your opinion, altough I do not agree with it, since I have people next to me that pretice jiu-jitsu, and can submit guys the double of their size. And about the stupid comment, sorry man, I was thinking about another guy with a avatar which looked like yours. I'm the stupid one here XD

  16. ok, now explain me why Khali can't tap out to Jericho? Since you're talking about believability, isn't submission a way to phisically immobilize people, who are even bigger than you? And I never said I know more wrestling than you do, "so get off your high horse".
