  1. Theres something really fishy about that. I remember there being rumors of a "outsider" like stable of former WWE stars who were treated awful in the WWE trying to reenter by invading the promotion. This stinks of that. The idea of a stable of like....Rhodes, Barrett, McIntyre and Sandow invading has me salivating, but I doubt Cody's release is a work.
  2. 90 Day No Compete Clause, I think since he's doing specific matches, he wants them all recorded, so there's no work around.
  3. So true. I really wish he got the case off of Sandow in their 2013 feud...
  4. My buddy met Adam Rose, looks like he changed his hair up since his release
  5. Yeah Fulton has been completely repackaged alongside Alexander Wolfe, looks like he might get something going for him.
  6. Actually very interested in what we get with Rose now on the indy's.
  7. Huh, I wonder what Cody's theme on the indy's will be....other than as Stardust, he's had a version of Smoke and Mirrors since 2010.
  8. This. I always consider TNA as "the company where former WWE talents get rightly used". Eh, there are plenty of WWE talents who never amounted to much simply because they weren't that great, then went to TNA and were treated as bigger deals than they needed to be.
  9. Angle already put over one half of The Dashing Ones, time to put over the other.
  10. I know Wade said he was done with wrestling for now....but God damn do I wish them two would team in the indy's. They're hilarious together whenever they were on screen, especially their friendship on the JBL and Cole show.
  11. More of a bucketlist me thinks. I could see him saying something like "I might go back to WWE....if I can check off every single box".
  12. People in the company have really been growing pairs recently, haven't they? Barrett and Rhodes openly stated they were unhappy and left, Ryback called out the company on their payment plan... If the trend continues, I see Ziggler leaving, because he's hated his position in the company for years.
  13. I think it was Lesnar, not Sheamus. The story was some company wanted to pay CM Punk if he would wear one of their logo's on his attire, something that would not affect WWE at all, but Vince shot the idea down. A few months later Lesnar returned and his shorts are loaded up with sponsors.
  14. He works backstage and on the preshow.
  15. I always wonder why WWE restricts their performers so much...seems like a lot of folks have left over the years in order to pursue other interests because of how strict their contracts are...
  16. Truth. Stardust was a great character, and was incredibly entertaining when given time. His feud with Neville, Amell and short partnerships with Barrett and Ascension all made great TV...but the character just wasn't one anyone could see main eventing, whereas Cody himself has had several times in his career, be it during his Grotesque gimmick, his longer IC title run or his face turn where he showed incredible main event potential...but it just never came to be. Honestly, if Cody leaves and makes waves in another promotion, it could do him a lot of good. He's a big enough name that they could make an eventual return a huge deal and immediately raise his stock. I think his road outside of WWE will be similar to Drew McIntyre/Galloway, where he proves that he can be a top guy and shows them just how big of a boat they missed.
  17. Dunno how long you've been here but its sad because he used to actually post some real intelligent and accurate shit. I'm convinced his account has been hacked. Yeah, I legit did a double take when I wrote my response to his post...
  18. I doubt he'd want to go to TNA of all places...PWG, LU or NJPW are the most likely IMO, MAYBE ROH.
  19. .....wait....what? Are you serious? What the hell made you think he's a prima donna reading that? He's not whining and bitching about pointless shit, he simply stated that he's tried over and over to show that he can be bigger than he is, but see's that he's hit the glass ceiling and can't break through. This honestly sounded like a genuine explanation from someone who really loves the business and made a very tough decision to leave what was, without a doubt, a dream job. I....I really don't know where you're getting any of the stuff in your second paragraph from either.
  20. I'll say again, Sandow was ideal for the Social Outcasts. Especially given his history with Axel. But no, they tried to push Slater again. Meh, Slater is better than Sandow.
  21. Still can't get over how badly they screwed him after the Mizdow stuff....I mean even from their point of view, someone that over could've brought in a ton of cash.
  22. Was thinking earlier he could get a Mysterio type release with how frequently he's injured....would actually laugh if that turns out true. OH SHIT DAMIEN SANDOW
